Came here for our anniversary and the staff really went all out, free prosecco and lovely chocolate cake at the end. Food was fantastic would definitely recommend to anyone. Thankyou

We went in and we weren't impressed. It was lunch time, the restaurant was empty and the staff didn't pay much attention to us. We decided to stay because of the positive reviews about the food and we're glad we did. The staff turned out to be nice and friendly and the steaks we ordered were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Why only 4 stars and not 5? The sides weren't at the same level of the steaks, they were bland and they can be improved. Overall a very good experience!

We only had a few hours in Bath and this was our first visit to the city - and we feel that we chose an excellent venue for our wedding anniversary lunch! Although we had the place almost entirely to ourselves, it was still a really nice atmosphere and we enjoyed excellent food with excellent service. We thought the steaks were tremendous and the opportunity to finish them ourselves was too unique to pass by, and added to the enjoyment. We weren't sure we had room for dessert, but when we saw the options, we knew we had to find some...and when they arrived, it was easily achieved - fantastic chocolate fudge cake and unbelievable torte al limone...so light, so delicious, so have some! A brilliant experience which only added to our wonderful first impressions of the city...we will be back for a longer stay.

Second time at this lovely restaurant. The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely stunning and we chose the hot stone steak for the second time as we absolutely loved it the first time, it did not disappoint! The steak was delicious, tender and juicy especially paired with the butter and sauces. The onion rings were perfection too! I'd love to try everything on the menu! Highly recommend.

Definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant. We hadn’t booked and it was busy but we managed to get a table. Good choice on the menu, ordered a steak and pasta dish as a main. Pasta was delicious, very tender steak ( cooked medium) the only comment would be it hadn’t been rested so there was quite a lot of blood on the plate, slightly off putting. Staff were welcoming.

Wonderful view on the Putney Bridge and mostly wonderful food. The steak was an high level one both for the taste and quality of the meat and its perfect cooking procedure. Friendly hospitality and excellent and fast service. Lovely experience, I really enjoyed and I strongly suggest Joya Restaurant, in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Bath.

Amazing service by Alexa. She was super friendly, kind, personable, professional and the service was incredibly efficient. Best Italian food I’ve had. The pistachio pasta is amazing. and the olives were delicious and the food came out only about 10 minutes (maybe less) after we ordered. Will definitely come again. Thank you Alexa! Meg And Shaun

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here and we were really looked after, the hot stone experience was great fun and the food was exceptional, lovely place and highly recommend! Will always return in future visits to Bath.

We were seated upstairs, which was fine until we sat down and we were sat by a door which was locked, but the draft was ridiculous so we requested could we have another table - we were then re seated downstairs, right by the main entrance which wasnt great as the staff stand there talking and obviously any new people arriving are stood around and the table was really wonky!. The food and service however were very good, steak was simply amazing.

Absolutely fantastic food and even better service especially from the lovely Bree very accommodating and friendly. Would defo recommend the steak it was one of the best I’ve had anywhere. They were great at fitting us in at such short notice on a Saturday after the first place we booked unexpectedly was closed Enjoy

Food and service was amazing may thanks to Jeremy was out of breath in how hard he was working. With also being super attentive to us and all of the over may tables he had.

My friend Heather and I ate at Joya our first evening in Bath (Thursday) and again the following Saturday. I really suggest making a reservation. Jeremy was our waiter and he took great care of us. They do have great vegetarian options, but if you like steak, they’ve got a treat: you can cook it on a hot stone at your table!!!! Wonderful place, wonderful people, and terrific food!!

Ok so this was a bit … unusual It started with ‘what to do for a 65th birthday’ and ended with a Prosecco Cruise, two sightseeing bus tours that took us FROM the hotel TO the Prosecco cruise and back again and before that the question ‘what to do for dinner’ We started with the Calamari which if i’m being honest was a but three star. But the steak ! oh man all is forgiven. My wife chose the hot stone steak. I wimped out and had the chef do mine in the kitchen, and it was done wonderfully, she went the full cave (wo)man with the hot stone finish it off as you like it Unlike a place nearer home that served it pretty much raw, these guys season and seal it and then bring it to you to finish to exactly what you want. And it was wonderful.

Came here for a 30th birthday celebration. I am sad to say it wasn't what I expected. I will start with the food, I was pleasantly surprised and did feel it was great quality. Not the best steak but certainly flavourful and good portion sizes. What really let this place down was the shocking service. We waited almost two hours for our mains to come out, baring in mind we had no starters. Drinks orders messed up and sides on mains missing. Very poor service and not sure I would choose to return.

Absolutely fantastic service from Jeremy, who was incredibly attentive and responsive throughout our dining experience. The cuisine was outstanding, especially with the option of hot stone cooking, a true gem for us Aussies missing that taste of home. Joya perfectly filled that void. The coffee was exceptional, and the lemon tart was simply divine. We're already planning our return visit, leaving feeling thoroughly satisfied.

Joya is in a nice location next to Pulteney bridge. Inside it is very quaint and nicely decorated. I ordered the hot stone steak with onion rings and roast potatoes. The steak was amazing and cooking it myself was a great experience. Paired with the salt, flavoured butter and sauce of your choosing the accompaniments compliment the steak perfectly. The peppercorn sauce was amazing as was the parsley and garlic butter. Jeremy was an amazing server and was friendly and informative throughout. Service was fast. Only complaint would be the mocktail sizes are quite small for the price (£8 for 300ml of mocktail). The mocktail did taste amazing though and this did take away from the amazing experience at all! Would highly recommend!

Central Bath location, great for lunch with friends after busy shopping morning. Tasty steaks served on Hot stones and salads and sauces and fries. What’s not to like! Friendly service and complimentary limoncello.

All round lovely experience! Staff were attentive, and polite, and a good pace without feeling rushed. Lovely atmosphere, very cosy, but plenty of room without feeling like you’re in other peoples laps. Great steak Experience, being able to finish steak on the hot stone! Beautifully cooked steak also! Lovely presented and tasty food! We sat near the bar, so could see all the drinks being made, and all drinks were bought to us by the Man making the drinks which was a lovely touch! In Bath for a couple days, four of us , booked Joya for my wife’s birthday meal (Sunday evening). Arrived on time and shown to our table on the 1st floor. We were looked after brilliantly by Seb. Starters were fab, I recommend the Arancini. The ladies had risotto and pasta, both excellent . The guys cooked their steaks ( 1 sirloin 1 ribeye) on the hot stones. Enjoyed the experience and would happily come again.

One of the best steaks i’ve ever had! Served by amazing staff, special shout out to Jeremy for being so friendly and attentive and the chef of course for his magic in the kitchen! Can’t recommend enough!

First of all the staff are lovely! They were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. They made the evening really relaxed and enjoyable. The food was divine - we all had fillet steak on the hot stone and it was the best and most delicious steak experience ever. Also great atmosphere and was understandably full on a Friday night. If we lived closer we would come here every week! We will definitely return when we next visit Bath. Thoroughly recommend.

Joya is a gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Bath. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy but also extremely friendly and buzzy. The food and service are amazing. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious (we enthusiastically ate our steaks so quickly that we forgot to get a photo) and the staff were really friendly …. However the chaos - we were sitting upstairs and sometimes felt forgotten with staff disappearing- there didn’t appear tables allocated for staff to look after - the restaurant wasn’t set up for the hot stones. The room filled with smoke and the only option was opening windows on a cold night. - food was regularly going to the wrong tables All In all though, the food was great, the staff were friendly and the restaurant is very good.

First time to Bath, chose this restaurant based upon reviews. Not disappointed. The bread and olives starter was great. I chose a flat iron steak with a hot stone. My wife had her ribeye cooked. They were both excellent. I enjoyed the ability to cook my steak to me choice, the hot stone stayed v.hot for the hour. The service was great and the location very central with a number of great bars around.

Had lunch here on a quiet Monday. We both had the steak on the hot rocks. It was a good wheeze to finish off the steak on the hot rock (make sure you add the butter first). All the food we had was of good quality for the price and we enjoyed our meal. Service was friendly and fun. Great views from the front windows. Great option for lunch.

Our second visit to Joya and we were just as impressed as the previous time. Delicious steak, sides and desserts. We also loved our cocktails and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back again in future!

Our server, Dani, was fantastic. Service was really quick. So many times I've been sat there for 10 minutes just trying to get someone's attention to get the bill, but they were over at the perfect time. Food itself was great, my partner and I had the prime fillet on a hotstone which kept the food warm throughout and was overall a fun experience. Our second valentines visit to Joya yesterday and it was absolutely fabulous. As expected it was very busy, but service was perfect, drinks and food arrived swiftly and our server Seb was very attentive and very knowledgeable. The hotstone is a great experience and really worth the visit. We both had three courses and couldn’t fault any of it!

Amazing food and our waiter (Gio) was brilliant. It was pretty busy but we still had great service, definitely worth trying the Hotstone experience.

Joya is a cozy spot to tuck in for a delicious meal away from heavy traffic tourist area. The stone-cooked ribeye was delicious as was the barrata pasta. Service from Seb was exceptional. Would recommend a lunch or dinner at Joya.

If you’re looking for a lovely lunch/dinner in Bath, we can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. After reading many brilliant reviews, we decided to give it a try. We received wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable service straight away from Giovanni which was great. We had two gluten intolerant members of our party and he was great with clearly explaining what we could safely have. The quality of food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and the chef cooked everything to perfection. We are real foodies, so we know good quality where we see it, hats off to where they supply their produce. We had steak for mains, cooked in the kitchen and also a block to finish off one at the table which was great fun! Absolutely making steak, best we’ve had in a long time. We absolutely loved our lunch, couldn’t fault anything and would definitely return on a future visit to bath. Thankyou for a such wonderful lunch, p.s the Malbec was outstanding!

The food was incredible, we all had the stone plate steaks and my dad even said it was the best steak he’s ever had. The desserts were equally great and so were the drinks, my parents enjoyed the house red and my partner had a delicious mocktail. My wife and I went to visit Bath for the weekend and arrived as a walk in at Joya, the staff managed to get us in on a busy Saturday evening, Giovanni was our waiter, I can only describe him in one word, excellent. Anything we wanted we got without any problem. The food was outstanding. Great choice on the menu and fairly priced. The atmosphere was great and overall a delightful experience. If anyone is going to Visit Bath then I would definitely book this restaurant, we were luckily and next time we visit I will defiantly be booking in advance. 10 out of 10 to all the staff, great job, thanks for a your wonderful hospitality.

We should review this place more Often as it’s recently frequented by us! We are never Disappointed by the wonderful service we receive- staff always attentive and the food is delicious! So lucky to have this place on our doorstop!
