I came here for lunch and it was very quiet when I went in there. I ordered the free ranger pie with cheesy mash and it was so good. The pie came out not long after I ordered the food (maybe 10 minutes). Highly recommend coming for lunch here.

I came in with my wife and kids today. We were met by a really attentive server, food came out quickly and I was really happy with the service. Will definitely be back!

Honestly 5 stars just for the lovely, prompt service. But the food came out cold and had to be sent back unfortunately

Loved the pies. We had 3 different ones, and oh my gosh, they were all gorgeous. Service was pleasant and fast and the ambiance is pleasant as well. Pricewise, it is reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

Went here for a quick meal and had great food and drinks! Started with a cocktail (a mai tai), then we had honey and mustard pigs and halloumi to start and then the moo and blue burger for main. All of it arrived quickly and tasted lush! My favourite thing was the halloumi for sure 😍

Came for the festive bottomless brunch - it was great - the pies were tasty, service on the cocktails was a bit slow but that can be understood for a group of 9 and to make them - but they gave us prosecco at the same time. Would definitely come back!

If you haven’t visited my only question is why? Everyone loves a pie and believe me they do a great pie. Our first visit today and before we left we were planning further visits. Seriously good and great value.

Beautiful pies with a selection of sides. If you don't like pastry too much, I suggest you go for the pies with Philo pastry as it's light, thin and flaky. Portion size is just right not to leave you feeling stuffed.

We arrived towards end of service but staff very helpful and accommodating. Kev was a great waiter. Food was overall an 8/10 pies were tasty and full of flavour, chips were freshly cooked, crispy. And mint mushy peas were tasty too. Gravy was a little let down as u get a beef type gravy with chicken and mushroom pie? But I had the red wine steak pie so I was ok Could be a lovely place when busy. My only whinge would be the amount of delivery guys coming in past our tables, some not removing their helmets and looked like they were gonna rob the place.

Really quiet dinner here on a Monday evening. My partner and I both got different vegan options with peas, mash, a veg ball and gravy. Both were ok, nothing to write home about. The mash and peas were absolutely bland and the pies didn't have much flavour either. The veg ball was the most flavourful part but so small. Overall not bad but unfortunately feels like I could have got something tastier at the supermarket. I expected more flavour.

5 stars all round for food, drinks and ambience - very patient and accommodating especially for their bottomless brunch. Best brunch in Bristol.

Not had pieminster for a long time because the last time I had it I thought the quality of the food had decreased. I won’t be having it again. The pie was ok & as expected but the mash potato tasted fousty and the garden peas had been so overcooked that they’d all come out the shells. The gravy was poor and it’s a shame. Paid £19 for a meal which I think is actually extortionate

3 stars for the pies 5 for the service. Keep the quirky waitress and retrain the cook please so that the steak and kidney and chicken and leek pies come up to the standards of a good old fashioned pub

Accommodated a large group of 12 without booking ahead. Good pie and drinks

The staff were lovely and very attentive to our dietary needs. Mention of honour to the chef, a true monkey-man capable of being everywhere at all times.

The restaurant was quite empty when we came but we had a great experience. Staff were the perfect combination of attentive but giving you space. Food was delicious and caters for those who are vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free. So many different combinations can be ordered and it all tastes so good. Will definitely be visiting a Pieminster again;

Firstly courier was very polite and punctual. I love pieminister pies, i enjoyed every bite and it was good that it was all nice and warm, some bites were even hot, felt like i just got it 5 minutes ago from the shop. I think maybe the food would benefit from having sides packed separately to the pie, or at least wet sides like beans be packed separately but this is a small ick. Overall loved it!

Had dinner with my friend this past Saturday - it was such a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back!

Food possibly more expensive than it is worth but really great service. A handsome Danish or Dutch man, sporting fancy moustache, seemed in charge of the place and its team. Well done, all of you.

Worst food I ever had in the UK. We had three starters which were a shame... I can't believe we paid £13 for such horrible food. Even for free I wouldn't eat it. Most of it ended in the bin sadly. Can't offer this to anyone. The waiter was rude to my friend when we ordered. It was the first sign to get out of there and we should've followed it.

Quick service no waiting around at the Stokes Croft venue. Food ok. Service charge is auto added to the bill. No parking at venue.

Sunday lunch for a friends birthday fabulous service and choice for someone lactose intolerant. I would've preferred option for plain fresh veg, but that is my only negative abd that they were so empty!!!! Good price for great food. Thank u 4 a great lunch.

My drink had vinegar in it? On the menu, 0 drinks have vinegar in it. The drink remained on the bill even though it was returned. Pie was amazing. But putting vinegar in a drink ruined 2024 for me

it has all been crushed into one box, I have a photo. normally it is in separate boxes and aĺ is hot, this is freezing and there are 3 cans of coke missing? not good enough I expect a refund. this is not the normal service that I get from Pieminister. I await your views

My daughter treated me to lunch here on our visit to Bristol. The food, as always, was wonderful. I had the Kate and Sidney with cheesy mash, garden peas and gravy. My daughter had the Free Ranger with the same sides. Service was friendly and polite. We will definitely go back next time we are in Bristol.

The pies we tried were very delicious, the waiter was very attentive and very patient with our questions about the ingredients, thank you. Highly recommended

We like Pie minister pies, our new favourite take away, great to be able to get gluten free pies. I hope they expand their ‘dietary limitation’ range. Will try eating in sometime too.

Pleasant meal with extremely capable and nice guy running the bar, service, and front of house solo. Particularly good at talking through dietary requirements, which was much appreciated.

Great variety of pies. Vegan veggie well catered for. Well priced. Personally the bowl plates and wooden boards make it a bit annoying to cut the pie. A conventional plate would be better IMHO.

I went to Pieminister for my lunch. I was very pleased to see such an imaginative range of festive pies on the menu as well as the standard menu. I was overjoyed that the delicious festive pie that I had (with mash and gravy) came at no extra cost than the year round menu pies. Pieminister once again showed itself to be one of Bristol's top establishments with a welcoming atmosphere, creative and tasty food, good beer and friendly service. All at a price below what you would pay elsewhere. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Pieminister.

Cheap and cheerful if pies are your thing! The slaw was lovely, the pies had crispy and thin pastry but the filling was too mushy and bland. Gravy was better than instant, but why beef gravy with a turkey pie? The vegans in our party enjoyed their options

The food was very nice and made better once the server was reminded of my order and brought the rest of it out. The staff seemed totally indifferent to me having to man handle my wife's mobility scooter up the step into the tight entrance. They also made no attempt to offer help to get out of the restaurant with it.

The Pie was tasty but the sides were not really good and the personnel was not too friendly!

The pies are good, everything else average. Staff fairly disinterested, but not unfriendly, the sort of place where they sweep and mop around your table to let you know they are ready to go home. Portions a bit mean, especially mash potato, gravy tepid (that's happened twice). Classic example of what can happen in poorly managed restaurants where the owner isn't involved. And there's never more than 3 or 4 other people so the atmosphere is not there.

After having had MANY of their cook at home pies, I finally got myself down to their restaurant and it did not disappoint! The service was quick and super friendly and the food was flavourful and delicious. They have their own amazing spicy ketchup, I also recommend trying the ginger mocktail!

It's all about the pies. Five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. God choice of beer too. Really friendly service. Would def visit again when needing a pie fix.

Arrived at 8.50 to be greeted by a member of staff saying they were not serving in the restaurant they were only doing take aways ???? Why does it not mention this on the website very poor they have lost my custom now …. Such a shame they weren’t even busy

I was very disappointed with the takeaway portion size considering the cost. Especially when you can buy the pie in the supermarket for £4.

The person who delivered it said they were outside and they weren’t. They called me and then blocked my number so I couldn’t call them back. I eventually found the food outside down some stairs and it was left in the rain on the floor.

I took my girlfriend here for our first date and we both loved it. The pies were nice!

Incredibly rude older guy. Pretty busy so asked for a table for 2, he said anywhere. Sat down and was berated for sitting on a dirty table. Couldn't see any others available. Maybe clean the tables before people sit down? Didn't bother staying after that, and having walked over from the city centre Pieminster due to hour plus waits on food I think I'll give the company a miss from now on.

Cracking food, great staff and a buzz in the air. These guys administer a pie in style

As a northerner and pie lover, I must say that the pies are lovely, great selection for vegetarians & nice sides. The downside is it costs £12.50 for a small plate of food ie. one pie with a portion of gravy that DOESN'T even cover the full pie, and two miniature sides, (£3.50 per spoonful of a mash / peas). They give you as little as possible. Even the filling in the pie is a little on the slim side. So although the pie is tasty, it's unfortunately not worth the price. If the company considered to lower their price (£10 or less) it would be worth it. Charging anything more than £10 for a microwave pie, spoonful of mash & a handful of peas is extortion.

Maroc Star filo pie was delish! Halloumi chips with chilli jam as a side. Didn't use the gravy as there was no need for it. Mash was instant mash, so not great. Great find, great food!
