The best restaurants in South West

The landlord today served me the most delicious coffee. The best coffee I have had this year. The pub was fantastic. Lovely decor and spotlessly clean. I look forward to visiting again soon.

A proper pub with good quality food & apparently excellent beers !! The staff are very friendly & efficient. The restaurant area is good to sit in as the bar is quite small & gets very busy at peaks times. Large car park and in the summer great garden space

Seem to be a lot kids hanging around the bar area. Staff behind the bar barely visible. No atmosphere.Food mediocre. Would not return.

Lovely attentive service. Although we enjoyed the roasts, they could have been hotter. Good to have a "zero" beer on tap and not out of a bottle or can.

Been meaning to write to say huge thank you - a fantastic evening - 115 for a BBQ and the food was outstanding. Delicious burgers and salads - and out of this world brownie. Whole team couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. It made the evening a great success and everyone was commenting on how good the food was - for a large number of people it was very impressive. Thank you.

My favourite cafe in Minehead 😎

We had a great Carvery lunch on a Sunday a couple if weeks ago. There were 9 people plus a dog and this was accommodated very easily. Service and food was very nice and we'll definitely go back again.

A trip here is always a treat. We are local but don't go often. Plan to change that. The food is excellent, recommend the lamb starter and the chilli and salt beancurd starter. Mains were sweet and sour pollock and the peking sliced pork with celery and onion. The special fried rice was great. The staff are kind and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit already. There is also a lunchtime special for £12.95.

Saturday night supper. Five of us. The food was excellent, from the poppadoms through the starters to the mains. The staff were fantastic and the bill was incredibly reasonable. A must visit when in Lyme. They just need to look less shocked and surprised when one turns up on time, having made a reservation weeks in advance, and have one’s table ready! 😉

The BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger was EPIC!! We were hungry after a long show at the Theatre Royal and this place is right across the street. Delicious fresh burgers cooked to order over flames! Quite expensive but so worth it!
