We had an excellent meal at the Hoops Inn last evening. The food was very good. My pan fried scallops with black pudding and pea purée was absolutely delicious. As were the other starters. Mains were also excellent, good food and generous portions. Excellent value for money. Also a special shout-out for the young lady who took care of us throughout the evening as well as serving everyone else and managing the bar at the same time. Great service with a smile. An excellent meal which all four of use thoroughly enjoyed.

Up for a couple of days from London and this is the best Indian food I have tasted since the long lamented New Bengal in Paddington's demise. The Tandoori Chicken Massalah was the best. The Chicken Chanai was hot, but not burning and the taste was excellent. Served with Garlic naans and plain rice with a Dosa for starter and Popadums with a selection of chutneys delivered early all added to the experience. The waiter who took the order and also delivered it was friendly, helpful and even offered to bring yoghurt should the Chicken Chanai prove to be hotter than comfortable. It was no necessary, but a nice gesture. The restaurant itself is clean and stylish with a relaxed atmosphere. Great restaurant.

Casamia may be closed permanently but I think it's important to get this off my chest. They contacted us months ago informing us they would have to cancel our table as we were booked in on their last ever service intended for friends and family only, but when they heard we were to be married the day prior and it was part of our mini-moon they went above and beyond and invited us regardless. When we arrived Joe had clocked us coming and extended a very warm welcome. He clearly loves his craft and has the charisma for it. We were taken to our seats by Amy and Aisha who were lovely and kept us at ease. The entire place oozed cool but regardless we never felt out of place. All the FOH team, Sommelier and chefs were kind, funny and made the entire evening special for me and my wife. The food was obviously incredible, 20 courses each competing with eachother for the best but all wonderful. The icing on the cake was the wine flight which was a gift from the restaurant. Every glass had a story and it all tasted phenomenal. The guy really knew his stuff. We both wish every success to all the team with whatever lies next and a big thank you for what became the highlight of our honeymoon! Congrats Amy & Joe we hope the wedding is a laugh! Excellent home made pub grub. I had the special of faggots and mash and my partner had the veggie burger. He’s usually fussy as he loves the fake meat ones the best, however he really loved this veggie burger as the veggies were lovely and it had a great crunch to it. The chips were amazing too. We’ll definitely be back!

We are a group of 6 who meet for lunch monthly. We selected the Falcon inn for our special Christmas lunch after reading good reviews and we're delighted we did. From the first contact we felt welcome .. nothing was too much trouble.. we pre-booked our choices and were given a lovely window table with easy access for one lady in our party who uses a stroller. The food timing was just right after we had greeted each other and settled down to our choice of wines. We had a gluten free member of the group and she was given a separate plate of home made gluten free bread whilst we enjoyed the superb home made full gluten bread, We had selected a wide choice of main dishes as we had vegetarian and pescatarian guests as well as the Christmas turkey eaters. Al the food was served hot. together and with a generous serving. All selections receiving 5 star praise for the Chefs. The chosen desserts were equally great. The home made mince pies topped off a wonderful meal including GF mince pies of course Altogether a very pleasant end to an eventful year. We will return!!

The restaurant was located near to where we were staying. The service was good and the Green Olive Mixed grill was excellent with great tasting dips and meat. We shared this dish! The atmosphere in the restaurant was good and the food arrived fairly quickly too.

My husband and I had a Spa Day. Initially we were advised only one masseuse would be working so we would have an hour wait as we would have to wait whilst we took it in turns to have our massage. On the day they had two staff working so we had our massage at the same time. We had a swim, spa treatment. A cream tea had been booked for 3:15pm we had finished our treatments by 2pm and went to see if we could eat earlier as we were very hungry. So after being seated and being given menus finally I explained to a member of staff that we had a Spa Day which we could have a cream tea, finally after sitting for about 40 minutes our cream tea arrived. We were hungry as breakfast had been around 7am. The afternoon tea looked nice but for 4 scones the amount of jam and cream was very economical. The scones were very crumbly and dry , 2 plain and 2 fruit ( fruit ones had about 4 raisins in each scone)sandwiches were okay, but the bread was a bit crispy, like the bread had been left in the sun and was drying out. We were not asked if everything was okay, we should have been given complimentary glasses of persecco, we didn’t get or even offered these, although our names had been checked against their list of bookings, so they should have known what we were entitled to.We ate everything because we were so hungry. On checking if we owned anything, finally I was asked if we had our glasses of bubbly and I said no, we hadn’t. But not to worry now! I see that these are priced at £7.50 per glass on their website. We would have liked two extra pots of tea instead! It is a fantastic location, although driving through Mullion is tight for large vehicles.
