The food is incredible, authentic & flavoursome! The interior is beautiful & the service was amazing - extra thank you to Shahid for making us feel welcome. Highly recommend, will definitely go back!!

The service and food here is excellent, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Unfortunately there was an incredibly loud table of about 12 people behind us, shouting and screaming the entire time which meant we could barely hear ourselves speak to each other, not the atmosphere we expected in this place. I also noticed when we got the bill that the prices didn’t match the menu so watch out! Cider listed as £5 but charged £5.25 on the bill, pretty sure that’s illegal! Also the men’s toilet was disgusting, with no hand dryer or towels to dry your hands at all, this is really basic stuff and I can’t believe it’s been missed. Thankfully the quality of food and service did make up for this, but wanted to make the owners and others aware.

On a city break to Bath and the hotel staff recommended The Mint Room as a good place to eat. The variety of dishes were great

The “Around Indian” experience was amazing—great variety and flavors. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the prices were very reasonable. The waiters were lovely and made us feel welcome. Would definitely come back!

I’d argue one of the best restaurants in Bath without a doubt. Venue and atmosphere are both stunning. Tasting menu is very immersive and also delicious. Expect detailed explanations about dishes from staff. Drinks list is well put together. Pricing is absolutely great. Value for money is a 10/10.

One of the best services we've experienced. Naren was incredibly kind, making us feel welcome and taking extra care to ensure our evening was memorable. The food was good, although a bit less oil would improve it.

I would like to post a personal thank you to Soham who made our visit on the 6th of March an amazing experience. He explained the dishes and made excellent recommendations that would suit each individuals tastes. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the waiters, we were very impressed. We all enjoyed every aspect of our visit, the food, the service and the atmosphere.

Really lovely restuarant, The food is excellent and the service is very good. It is fine dining so you do pay a little more but it's a fab restuarant. I think it suffers a little because of it's location - outside the city centre with no obvious place to park.

We had a meal here last night and it was fantastic. The food was exceptionally good - we had the paneer tikka, seekh kebab, tarka dhaal, and the old Delhi chicken curry (this one was authentically Indian spicy!). The waiters (Shaheed and Muftar) were very hospitable, friendly, and attentive, they gave excellent service. Would definitely go back! Just a note that the painting of Elizabeth II didn’t feel in keeping with Indian heritage. Just be sure to check where to park beforehand.

I am torn on the Mint Room. I can recognise it is a place of quality - but I do not believe I saw it in the best light. This is because I went in the day of love. Valentine’s Day. When we arrived we were seated promptly. An air of anticipation was in the air, as I saw the night was already in full swing. The room was alive with conversation, over the aromatic smells. For drinks I ordered the blackcurrant margarita. A well made, tart tasting thing. The sharp alcoholic sting raised its head at the end. I enjoyed it, more for its uniqueness over anything else. The lady had an espresso martini, which was well made, tasted as expected. To start, chicken tandoori. Whilst I’ve had chicken tandoori before, this tasted completely different. The herbs the chicken is covered in, plus the berry sauce offers a new take. I cleaned my plate. Now for the main. I had ordered the lamb shank (I forget the full name of the dish, I apologise for this journalistic folly), but I received what I believe to be the other lamb dish. Now normally I would say something, but I could see they the waiters and waitresses were all very busy. The kitchen I imagine was also in disarray given the 6 course valentines set menu. I suspect on any other Friday, the service would have been fine, but I can only judge what I experienced, so must deduct a mark. Also, when the lady excused herself, one waiter kept asking if I wanted to order the food.Twice. Obviously I can’t when she is away. The lamb dish I had was very nice. Three pieces of lamb in a tandoori style sauce, flanked with a pork mince spiced accompaniment. The rice I ordered was well cooked and went well with the main. The spicy cheese naan bread was… serviceable. A bit greasy, with too strong a cheese flavour, not nearest enough spice. Overall on a day with better service and if I got what I ordered I would give 5 stars. But I think the experience was a high 3 overall. I will charitably give a 4, as the food was very good. I think I will try it again. When it’s less busy

Food was lovely. Service was friendly but slow and a bit chaotic. Took nearly 3/4 of an hour to even take any order taken. Got drinks order wrong twice. When we did get our food it was lovely, had to ask for items that were missing. We wanted to order desserts. Menu was given to us, then we were told it was too late for us to order desserts, it was only 9.30. Not sure if this was because of time limit on our table but this was ridiculous at that time of night and very disappointing. We went to Mint Room as it was our Sons birthday, this really soured the evening! Hence I shouldn't think we would go back!

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely meal here for valentine's day yesterday. The service was great and the food was amazing. We shared the lamb chops for starters and I had the lamb shank for main and both were cooked to perfection. We called before hand to ask about parking and they guided us to a nearby carpark. The only criticism that I have is that the tables were very close to eachother. Otherwise a wonderful meal and I would highly recommend.

Visited for our 4th anniversary. The service, the atmosphere and food were so great. This would be the best Indian restaurant I have ever been. I would definitely recommend this place.

Why on earth would you for a boil in the bag tikka masala in town when you could have the fabulous food at The Mint Room. Quality always shows and you do have to pay a little more but I'd rather go here twice per month than one of the other places every week. Do your taste buds a favour. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved the vibe of this place—it’s such a delightful spot to dine in. The food here is truly exceptional, making it my favorite dining destination. The staff are incredibly polite and friendly, adding to the wonderful experience. I’d especially like to mention Anuran Das, who served us with great professionalism and warmth.

Their food is amazing! This is the only place I order Indian food from. It’s absolutely delicious (both takeaway and dining in). I recommend trying the dining in at least once, it’s such a great experience. Excellent food, very friendly staff. What more to ask.

Excellent a la carte food and service. We were a group of 10 celebrating birthdays for 3 of us. I had the cheese croquettes to start and monkfish for main. Everyone enjoyed their meals and there are plans to return.

Visited with my wife on our wedding anniversary for the tasting menu. Could not have asked for better service and the food was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, some of the best Indian food we've had anywhere. Add to that they tailored the tasting menu as my wife is pregnant and topped it off with a lovely anniversary plate and two mocktails. Couldn't fault it at all, worth every penny. The only negative is we don't live local enough to go regularly!! Well done to the team there

Visited for our wedding anniversary, absolutely fantastic food and service. We had the tasting menu, every course was delicious and we ended up taking a full takeaways worth home as well so definitely worth the price! The staff were brilliant, they even went as far as to tailor the tasting for my pregnant wife and topped the night off with complimentary mocktails. My only issue is that we're not local enough to make it a regular visit. If you're local or visiting Bath, definitely get in here.

It’s been 7 years since we were last here. Had the tasting menu (new) and it was superb. The service was excellent, the maitre d explained the dishes and had a real enthusiasm for them. My taste buds thought I’d died and gone to heaven. Highly recommended.

We had booked our anniversary dinner and we’re not disappointed. The food quality was top notch and the staff took a little extra effort to make the evening special. The manager (can’t remember his name) went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after and gave us an amazing complimentary dessert! Fantastic all-round experience and highly recommend. The only tiny negative is that parking is a bit of a fiddle since it’s located in a building across the street. Not a huge issue though.

High end atmosphere, impeccable service, and the best vindaloo I have ever had. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, seats are spacious and comfortable, and the food makes you wish you had room for more.

Absolutely faultless service - all of the staff were friendly, happy to be there, polite and accommodating. The food was first class - my boyfriend and I both had the Christmas set menu and both loved the turkey and salmon courses in particular. We were there for 3 hours and the whole time the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

What a find. Can’t recommend enough-the food was absolutely delish, we had the tasting menu and wine flight (SUPERB value for money). A culinary tour of India, in a classy environment, the food was excellent, the service just perfect (attentive, informative, entertaining-thank you Shahmed!) and thanks to the whole team at the bar and in the kitchen-it is clear they all worked together to deliver a seamless service. It was a full evening’s entertainment and we enjoyed it so much.

Not the Indian restaurant we were expecting but so glad we decided to eat here. Not the norm, more of a twist on a curry house, food was amazing, the pineapple pudding incredible and Shahed who looked after us was fantastic, would highly recommend

Good food, feels as if it’s based on Dishoom - unusual twists on well known dishes. Efficient service. The thing about it that feels odd is the area it’s in - half residential, half industrial and tucked in the back of a petrol station.

A dazzling culinary experience! I’ve never had such tasty and beautifully presented Indian food. Shahad was an excellent tour guide for our trip through the cuisine of India and we left fully satisfied. The beef chettinad was my personal highlight, but there was nothing in the tasting menu that we would not have again. Very generous portions. Lovely restaurant. Great service.

Wow, I went here yesterday with my family. We all went for the taste of India tasting tour and it did not disappoint. I think it's by far the best Indian food that I have ever tasted. The service was top notch, the server explained each course in detail and the origin of the meal. We left with food leftovers as we were so well fed. Super impressed, and really good value for money. Cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend.

Every dish was delicious, and they were so accommodating for our for year old, preparing less spicy versions of dishes and entertaining her, she loved it! Fantastic food! We had the taster menu with wines, and it was worth every penny. We loved the explanations of the origins and ingredients of each course. We were a little late dining too, and they stayed open well past their advertised closing just for us (we were long the last people there!). Fantastic service and fantastic food. The price for the taster menu when compared to other top quality restaurants is actually very competitive too. Not just strongly recommended, but we will be back too to try the other menus!

Thank you to Soham, and the team at The Mint Room, for helping us to plan, and then enjoy, out large group reunion dinner last week. Communication was good throughout the planning stage and then on the evening everything ran smoothly....and so many people in the group commented on how delicious the food was. Definitely a "cut-above" most establishments.

Absolutely incredible service from Shahed Ahmed thank you so much for the yummy ice cream was such a nice treat! Would recommend, such a hidden gem in bath! I travelled from plymouth for this and it’s safe to say I wasn’t disappointed. Will be back soon. What a fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious without being over spiced, but blended impeccably. The waiters were attentive and immaculate. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. All in all, it was a great experience.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Mint Room in Bath. Felt very welcome from the moment we entered until the moment we left. We love Indian cuisine and have had it in many different places around the world. This was some of the most flavourful we've ever had. The deconstructed samosa was to die for. We had the Korma, Rogan Josh, Murgh and the Tikka masala. All were distinctive in their flavors and all absolutely delicious. The garlic Naan was also amazing. Definitely recommended this place if you're heading to Bath and love Indian food.

We have just returned home from having the most amazing experience at Mint Room Bath. From the moment we walked through the door until we left the service was exceptional! Attention to detail, atmosphere and service blew us away. The food - wow! We went for the tour of India tasting menu which was out of this world - we were given a description of each dish and the region it came from - it was quite the experience. All the the staff were friendly and knowledgable but particularly Soham and Shahad who have world class service - thanks to them we have left wanting to return! Thank you guys - we will be back!

Incredible experience at this fantastic restaurant. We were just passing through on the way to Cornwall and booked in on the strength of their reviews. We had the taster menu which was amazing, specially the lamb chops and the dessert. I experienced a new taste which is saying something after many decades on this earth. Soham was our host; very professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for a brilliant night out.
