Excellent a la carte food and service. We were a group of 10 celebrating birthdays for 3 of us. I had the cheese croquettes to start and monkfish for main. Everyone enjoyed their meals and there are plans to return.

Visited with my wife on our wedding anniversary for the tasting menu. Could not have asked for better service and the food was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, some of the best Indian food we've had anywhere. Add to that they tailored the tasting menu as my wife is pregnant and topped it off with a lovely anniversary plate and two mocktails. Couldn't fault it at all, worth every penny. The only negative is we don't live local enough to go regularly!! Well done to the team there

We had booked our anniversary dinner and we’re not disappointed. The food quality was top notch and the staff took a little extra effort to make the evening special. The manager (can’t remember his name) went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after and gave us an amazing complimentary dessert! Fantastic all-round experience and highly recommend. The only tiny negative is that parking is a bit of a fiddle since it’s located in a building across the street. Not a huge issue though.

High end atmosphere, impeccable service, and the best vindaloo I have ever had. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, seats are spacious and comfortable, and the food makes you wish you had room for more.

Absolutely faultless service - all of the staff were friendly, happy to be there, polite and accommodating. The food was first class - my boyfriend and I both had the Christmas set menu and both loved the turkey and salmon courses in particular. We were there for 3 hours and the whole time the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

What a find. Can’t recommend enough-the food was absolutely delish, we had the tasting menu and wine flight (SUPERB value for money). A culinary tour of India, in a classy environment, the food was excellent, the service just perfect (attentive, informative, entertaining-thank you Shahmed!) and thanks to the whole team at the bar and in the kitchen-it is clear they all worked together to deliver a seamless service. It was a full evening’s entertainment and we enjoyed it so much.

Good food, feels as if it’s based on Dishoom - unusual twists on well known dishes. Efficient service. The thing about it that feels odd is the area it’s in - half residential, half industrial and tucked in the back of a petrol station.

A dazzling culinary experience! I’ve never had such tasty and beautifully presented Indian food. Shahad was an excellent tour guide for our trip through the cuisine of India and we left fully satisfied. The beef chettinad was my personal highlight, but there was nothing in the tasting menu that we would not have again. Very generous portions. Lovely restaurant. Great service.

Wow, I went here yesterday with my family. We all went for the taste of India tasting tour and it did not disappoint. I think it's by far the best Indian food that I have ever tasted. The service was top notch, the server explained each course in detail and the origin of the meal. We left with food leftovers as we were so well fed. Super impressed, and really good value for money. Cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend.

Every dish was delicious, and they were so accommodating for our for year old, preparing less spicy versions of dishes and entertaining her, she loved it! Fantastic food! We had the taster menu with wines, and it was worth every penny. We loved the explanations of the origins and ingredients of each course. We were a little late dining too, and they stayed open well past their advertised closing just for us (we were long the last people there!). Fantastic service and fantastic food. The price for the taster menu when compared to other top quality restaurants is actually very competitive too. Not just strongly recommended, but we will be back too to try the other menus!

Thank you to Soham, and the team at The Mint Room, for helping us to plan, and then enjoy, out large group reunion dinner last week. Communication was good throughout the planning stage and then on the evening everything ran smoothly....and so many people in the group commented on how delicious the food was. Definitely a "cut-above" most establishments.

What a fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious without being over spiced, but blended impeccably. The waiters were attentive and immaculate. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. All in all, it was a great experience.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Mint Room in Bath. Felt very welcome from the moment we entered until the moment we left. We love Indian cuisine and have had it in many different places around the world. This was some of the most flavourful we've ever had. The deconstructed samosa was to die for. We had the Korma, Rogan Josh, Murgh and the Tikka masala. All were distinctive in their flavors and all absolutely delicious. The garlic Naan was also amazing. Definitely recommended this place if you're heading to Bath and love Indian food.

We have just returned home from having the most amazing experience at Mint Room Bath. From the moment we walked through the door until we left the service was exceptional! Attention to detail, atmosphere and service blew us away. The food - wow! We went for the tour of India tasting menu which was out of this world - we were given a description of each dish and the region it came from - it was quite the experience. All the the staff were friendly and knowledgable but particularly Soham and Shahad who have world class service - thanks to them we have left wanting to return! Thank you guys - we will be back!

We had the taster menu which was amazing, specially the lamb chops and the dessert. I experienced a new taste which is saying something after many decades on this earth. We spent a lovely meal here for our anniversary. The staff could not do enough for us and the food is absolutely delicious. The roof terrace is a great feature and is also covered with heating, perfect for an English summer! Would highly recommend.

10/10 service! We booked this restaurant for a large birthday booking. The team were extremely accommodating with all of our requests. We could decorate the area and table that we reserved. We had the most special evening and the staff couldn’t do enough for us, especially Soham who was fantastic!

I have wanted to try the Mint Rooms for years as its reputation precedes it. My mum & I ate there this evening and it was a gastonomic delight… it did not disappoint. The service was so warm and attentive and we were talked through the origins of the dishes we chose, from Kerala to Bangladesh. The flavours were beautiful and we were treated like royalty 10/10 thank you 🙏

We were on holiday in Bath and looked for an Indian restaurant on Tripadvisor. Lt. Based on the reviews, we went to the Mint Room and were not disappointed in any way. The waiter who served us started talking to us. He gave us good advice. The food was excellent and we got a small dessert on the house at the end, which was also delicious. All in all we were extremely impressed. Only to recommend.

My wife and I ate there again last night. My daughter lives nearby and we usually get takeaways because the food is so good. We weren't disappointed, once again the food was exceptional, every mouthful a delight. It may be a little more expensive than some Indian restaurants but there is a reason for that, the food is in a different class. Fantastic friendly service too. I'd recommend it without reservation.

First time in Bath and In UK, we were looking for a restaurant open a bit late Sunday night. We had a really amazing dining experience at the Mint Room. The staff were all really lovely and attentive, special thank’s to Shahed who was a great host, he was really polite and friendly and looked after us. Indian Cuisine with a twist. A modern take on your usual Indian restaurant. Decor is great, service is excellent and the food is wonderful. All the usual traditional dishes but a whole host of modern dishes which are beautifully executed and taste wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again. So refreshing to have something different in an Indian Restaurant.

Exceptional service and phenomenal dishes! My partner and I have always enjoyed Indian food, so for our anniversary I booked a table The Mint Room. Being our first time in Bath, and England in general, we were hoping to share some elevated Indian food together. We were not disappointed! Not only was the tasting menu some of the best Indian cuisine we’d ever had, but the service was incredibly kind and welcoming also. Our waiters enthusiastically explained each of the dishes, helping to better immerse us in the experience and provide us with a greater appreciation for the meal. Afterward, we were even given 2 complimentary espresso martinis to commemorate the occasion. Would absolutely recommend!

Had the tasting menu @£45 per person. Food was excellent and the tasting menu enabled me to try dishes I would not ordinarily order . It’s different to a standard curry house and the flavours are authentic and tasty . Definitely worth doing as a one off but it’s not cheap having spent £134 for 2 people with 5 small cobras to compliment the menu

Have been several times before. The food is always great. Staff are friendly. Tonight was spoiled completely by the overbearing thumping from the music on the roof terrace that drowned out the background jazz, made it difficult to understand the staff and got in the way of good conversation.

Sent me into an instant violent spin of food poisoning that left spewing liquids out of EACH end.

I have visited The Mint Room several times and have never been disappointed. It is by far the best Indian in Bath and I would whole heartily recommend a visit. The only one problem is the difficulty in finding parking space close by the restaurant.

Came here last week for my sisters 30th. Three of us visiting from Nottingham for the weekend and found this restaurant online. Beautiful inside. Staff were very attentive throughout our whole meal and couldn't ask for more from them. Highlight for me was the samosa chaat starter. Chaat is one of my favourite Indian foods and this was different to any I've had before. It was absolutely delicious. Arrive with an empty stomach as the portions are generous and everything delicious. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and what a great end to my sisters 30th celebration weekend.

My husband and I visited The Mint Room for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived early, which was not a problem. Our waiter, Sohan, was very attentive but not obtrusive. We decided on the tasting menu which offered the chance to taste food from different regions of India. We were not disappointed. Using flavours and styles that ranged from street food to Keralan fish curries, everything was delicious. Each dish had a depth of flavour and everything was beautifully presented. We were talked through each dish and Sohan's enthusiasm for the food with which we were being presented added to the experience. The starter of Indian street food dishes was our favourite. We left feeling just the right amount of full and very satisfied.

Came here on the recommendation of my daughter and son-in-law. They had the tasting menu and wine - so did we. What can I say? We were blown away as every single course was amazing. Cooked to perfection, delicately spiced but bursting with flavour - and paired perfectly with the accompanying wine. I loved the street food starter and everything that came after it. My wife, not that keen on fish, loved the sea bass and especially the lamb. In fact, we both cleaned every single plate. Please take a chance and step outside your comfort zone. This is Indian cuisine at it's finest. Elevated to a whole new level. And to cap it all - the service is first class from start to finish. I only wish I lived closer. We travelled 3 hours from Essex to visit Bath - and have not been disappointed.

Had the most wonderful evening, with great staff - was served by Siham Mirashi who took time to explain each meal, let us sample wines before deciding and surprised us with our main course. Oh dear. I have not been to the Mint Room for a few years now. It used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Bath and I was looking forward to my return trip. It was disappointing I'm afraid. I won't do a blow-by-blow of the food but the highlights were the starters which were very tasty and got us off to a good start. The rest of the food was tepid, served on cold plates, which made things worse, and were really quite bland. The biriani was a very sad affair and the halibut steak was just very odd indeed. The halibut was served (on a cold plate) with equally cold sticks of carrot and a couple of mange tout (why!?). The sauce (also tepid) was a thick, slightly creamy, tasteless gloop. The fish was full of bones making it almost inedible. The side dishes were bog-standard Indian fare which is sad when this place used to always have dishes that were unusual and interesting. I won't be returning any time soon I'm afraid.

Our first visit to The Mint Room was in February and we enjoyed it so much we had to return again for the tasting menu with the wine flight. First thing I would like to comment about is the excellent service, the staff are very friendly which adds to the dining experience and they also explain each course when it arrives. The flavours, presentation and quality of food are some of the best Indian food we’ve had. If you like good quality Indian food please visit The Mint Room you will not be disappointed!! Food Amazing!
