I absolutely love this place!! Maddie is absolutely lovely and is excellent at customer service .. first time using there today but I will definitely make it my new favourite..the menu looks lovely and really well priced. The coffee was piping hot and brought out to me .. it was lovely just sitting there on a beautiful day watching the world go by.. They are dog friendly and really welcoming!!

Fish was awesome but the batter was stange

Such a great village pub - good food and drinks, but mostly it’s the people. We organised a group function one afternoon in November and it was perfect - enormous amounts of tasty food, great atmosphere, lovely staff. Thanks especially to Caz.

Needs a good clean. Looks like they don’t have a vacuum

Managed to get a table at short notice and had a very pleasant meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere in the pub when we arrived just before 6pm, mostly, if not all, local people. Good range of beers and ciders. Advisable to book. Highly recommended.

Great place and location for a fine ale

The menu on website is not there is only one dish which is a meza which is just ok. They should change it and they add 10 % which is not worth it

TOILETS ARE AWFUL. This is 2025 and they have not seen any refurb since 70's apart from 12 layers if paint. Now onto the food: Fish was great had very tasty batter, Childrens menu popcorn chicken had weird flavour and was way too spicy for children meal. Mushy peas very watery. Tartare sauce never arrived, but to be fair we did not bother asking for it. Very generous portion of chips, probably bit too much, as most of it went to waste. Very nice and polite server. We have been lured in by very high reviews but you cannot be 5* with such low level of facilities
