The best restaurants in South West

The coffee machine is very slow if there are many at breakfast. The dash across the courtyard in the rain for the evening meal was a bit much.

Great food but delivery takes a while. Worth it though!

From start to finish this was an excellent experience. Really helpful on the phone and managed to squeeze us all in. Arrived and greeted warmly. We ordered fish and chips, chicken in honey and mustard sauce, sea trout, cottage pie plus panko prawns as a main. Everything was well presented and good size portions too. Better than that, however, was the taste - not one bad thing said about any of the food and in fact everyone was impressed with how good it all was. Hand cooked chips too which were delicious. Two of the party had dessert- sticky toffee pudding and Baileys cheesecake - again no complaints and lots of compliments! So if you want great tasting food, good sized portions and a fantastic service and atmosphere then what are you waiting for? Will definitely be back very soon.

Great Ramen, tasted like a classic tonkotsu, went all in and had an extra egg.

This restaurant exceeded all expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion. I would highly recommend the [lamb shawarma ] and the [ biryani rice]. The staff were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning!"

Food from here is seriously good. It was a fair bit late, they said they had issues with a driver, so probably just a one-off. But the quality made up for it, it’s a cut above most places.

Lovely food, can improve customer service significantly. From moment I walked in didn't feel welcome unfortunetely. Cold service and judgemental. It would be great if they could have placard highlighting the extras with meal or have it explained.

Great fish restaurant. Wine bar upstairs. Very good fresh fish. God wine choice. Great people. A star of Torquay!!

Perfect weather, company and lamb pie. Not too busy either!
