This place is very popular with tradesmen so it’s a good indication of how nice the food is and at a good price

First time there and it was brilliant. The food was excellent, so we're the prices and choice. The portions were exceptional too. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The best cafe I have been in for years. Just have to go back and visit regular. Simply the best. !!!!

Outstanding cafe!! From walking in you’re greeted with a lovely, friendly atmosphere and an array of choices to choose from the menu. You get fantastic portions for the price you pay & you never have to wait long, even when they’re busy. The girls work extremely hard, but always have time to have a quick chat & a laugh. I highly recommend this cafe. Now officially crowned Bristol’s best cafe, congratulations Sandra & team, very well deserved!! 🥳 Thank you all so much. Keep being amazing!!

I went there with my friend to get something to eat but when we got there we were told that that they no food left so we asked about for a cup of coffee I asked if I could have a decaf coffee because I can't have ordinary coffee and told they don't do it so we left and went to the pub opposite and had a cold drink.

Just to avoid confusion, online says called Poppy's kitchen, but sign on outside premises says Abbots Kitchen. Google maps will get you there, it's adjacent to Shield and Dagger pub for landmark. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Excellent vegetarian breakfast exceptional price includes tea or coffee which is very sensible and welcome to all. Lunch menu looks just as good and reasonably priced also. Local newsagents recommended Jacket potatoes for lunch time.

Had a great breakfast here it was so big I couldn't finish it... awesome place fantastic prices too and the staff are really friendly highly recommend this place all the best girls ,keep it up x

Price and Quality of the food were perfect. Great deal for the price. However, the music was higher than I could cope with so I did struggle a bit to communicate.

Only went in for a,cup of tea needed to talk to someone, but it's clean tidy I would have a meal in there
