Nook in Bristol, City of

Service lacking care, attention and speed as ever. Serving uninspired, bland paninis and filled croissants. The issue with nook, a confused establishment that cant decide if its a cafe or shop, is the last of any tangible competition to keep them on their toes. I choose to support the business because there is no other option to sit in for a bite of lunch and a coffee in the area. But I'd rather just get a pasty from parsons and sit in the bus stop with a pigeon staring at me through one eye deciding when the best time to go for the crumb which has lodged itself in my beard.

Constant staff shortages have turned this into an incredibly frustrating place to visit. There's only so many times people will turn up to find out it's closed or closing early before they will just stop bothering to turn up.

First visit and would definitely come again!

Lovely food and cakes. They have a really good range of savoury food. Good plants and presents as well. However staff are not well trained and can take ages to get the food to your table. The staff are friendly but don’t work efficiently so if I’m in a hurry I choose another option.Also they use disposable cups and plates a couple of hours before closing presumably to save washing up I was the only customer and felt very wasteful using disposables at 3.30 to avoid washing a cup and plate.

Love this place, great food and drink selection. Also sell lovely cards, gifts etc. Just be aware that it's takeaway only after 4.30pm, only found this out yesterday and was looking forward to sitting down for a slice of cake after the walk (and for a rest being 9 months pregnant 😂)

Nook is a lovely cafe. I've had the coffee, pastries, a poke bowl and a smoothie and they've all been high quality, fresh ingredients and tasty. They also sell local produce (wogan's coffee), cookware, books, childrens toys. A great place to grab a last minute present.

Nice quiet cafe with lots of healthier food items. Coffee was nice, flavoursome without being over bitter.

Just right on occasions specifically when I fancy a break from walking & they have a delightful panini sandwich available, usually something with Brie . Then perhaps a tasty sweet alongside usually something . . as a chocolatey slice or muffin . Within they sell some gift ideas, something for the house or something for young inquisitive minds.

A small but light and airy cafe with plenty of interesting items for sale. I easily found a low gluten sweet treat to go with my coffee and later a beautiful pair of earrings. While I considered some of the non food items a bit on the pricey side I could see they were good quality and worth it.

Nice little cafe and shop. Good tasting coffee and a nice choice of foods. A little more pricey than others in the area, but you get good quality items. Nice atmosphere with parents and small ones welcome.

Cute selection of gifts, toys, house-y bits, snacks and craft beers etc. The café serves lovely cakes and teas/coffees and the staff are super friendly. Space out the back room too and baby changing table in the loos!

Some quirky products on sale at good prices, including quite a few 'sustainable' items and some very well priced plant pots. Good coffee and food too.

A first class venue offering a wide range of hot and cold drinks. My only criticism of this place, which applies to all places selling coffee, is that they assume that coffee should be served less than hot. I like my coffee ☕ hot and enjoyed in small sips.

Lovely shop with lovely people. Great for small gifts, bits and bobs and they just happen to sell superb coffee & cake. It's exactly what this area needed, and a very welcome addition. Can't wait to grab another coffee & cake very soon!
