Amazing food by amazing people! The food is so tasty and you can see clearly the owners take a lot of pride in this. Definitely recommend this great place!

I don't live in Bristol anymore but I feel so lucky to have eaten here, and as often as I did. Insanely tasty, I don't know if I will ever eat anything as good again.

Went here last night with my girlfriend. Honestly, quite possibly the best Jamaican food we've ever had, and I'm saying that as someone that lives in London and has tried many places there. Juliette is very friendly, you will instantly feel like a valued customer when you come here and you can tell that they have an incredible attention to detail with the everything from the way the food is cooked to the ingredients used for each individual dish. We tried the curried chicken, jerk chicken, jerk pork, rice, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, veg and dumplings. All 5 stars and would recommend. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you!

I have just ordered from blu fire, I am half way through eating The curry goat rice and peas and jerk chicken and it is honestly the best Caribbean food I have tasted! Everything is genuinely perfect! worth every penny, this is clearly someone who knows exactly what they are doing!

The food was very nice, I went with my partner and 2 kids! The service was great from the moment we walked through the door. We ate in, the menu was an easy read. Prices could be a bit lower but tasty never the less.

Food not that great ,and very expensive, 3 pounds for a tiny colslaw, should be a set price not separately, as the rice and peas and Jersey chicken or curry goat are all brought separately ,when it should be a set meal, like all the other caribbean takeaways etc,

If you are a fan of Caribbean cuisine, you have to try Blu Fire. Juliet and Carl provide fantastic service to match their wonderful food, which easily rivals other Bristol based Caribbean premises. I have been on four occasions now and every time the food has been brilliant, whether you dine in or takeaway. In a city full of great dining options, Blu Fire is now a firm favourite.

We stopped for lunch as we were walking past, and so glad we did. Our curried goat, jerk chicken, rice & peas, slaw and dumplings were all absolutely delicious! What a treat.

Best Caribbean food I’ve had in Bristol! I called beforehand and the lady was so friendly and helpful, and she was so welcoming when I went in to collect my order. The cafe itself is lovely too I’ve had their curried goat before and this time it was even better than I’d remembered, the belly pork was so tender and delicious too! The jerk chicken was cooked to perfection, and they all had such incredible flavour! I really loved the homemade coleslaw and the sweet dumplings too Highly recommend!

Food was really nice but gave two stars as customer service was a bit of a joke. Visited with my kids on a weekend evening and ordered in shop (as others have said it can be a little slow) two groups who ordered after me knew the staff in the shop and actually got their food before us(we ordered the same food so pretty sure they flipped the orders around), even though we all ordered from scratch! I think that is a first at a take away restaurant, we ended up waiting for over an hour in the end. Pretty shoddy if I'm honest, I won't be ordering/recommending this place on principle now. Update: Just a response to the business reply, I dont think I need to add a clear breakdown of my order on review site (why would you) Furthermore your menu is very small and select so your argument regarding different food from the menu isnt sound. The reviews are to there based on individuals experience. You flipped the orders as you knew the individuals who ordered after us which is your decision as its your business.

My favourite spot to order from in Bristol. The food is delicious every time. Fresh and full of flavour. Cannot recommend Blu-Fire enough. You kinda need to try everything but the brown chicken stew is my number one dish.

Fabulous food .The traditional ackee and saltfish was perfectly spiced. The friends l was with had jerk chicken and the other had curry-goat which they said was beautifully cooked..(jamaican women) The portions were also satisfactory as we had some left over to take home. Also , you cant put a price on good conversation in which Juliette seemed well versed and pleasant.

Tried this for the first time last night I had boneless jerk thighs and they were insane the jerk sauce was best I've had. Top top drawer

One of the best Caribbean restaurants in Bristol! The jerk chicken is always marinated well, delicious and tender, the gravy is incredibly tasty and the sides are great. The service is always friendly, the main women who serves us is lovely. I’d recommend this place to all of my friends!

Friendly staff however it is over priced and service is extraordinarily slow. £26 to feed two people is outrageous. If they included rice and peas with a choice of meat then I would probably rate 4 stars but to pay so much more extra for two portions of rice that costs them practically nothing is a slap in the face for me as the purchaser. I am paying a premium for the meat meal, for example goat curry is the best part of £13 and you have to spend an extra £2.50 to get it with rice..... why not just give the customer rice included.....it costs you peanuts. The brown stew is a more reasonable price of £8.50 however it isn't the usual flavour and is it more of an orange oily appearance rather than the usual brown gravy. The plantain on the other hand is exceptional, very nice. I wont be using blue fire again as there are better options for Jamaican food in Bristol such as Mama Clios who are cheaper, faster and better tasting. Disappointed as this is my local but will definitely travel further for a better Jamaican experience.

Called the previous customer a tosser 😅 went for the meat box, advertised at 17.50 on website but 20£ in-house. Wasn’t a 20 quid meal. 1 piece of chicken on the bone, spoon full of pork and goat, the rest veg and rice, no sweet potato fries

Staff were lovely. I didn't catch the older ladies name but she really was very sweet and checked throughout our meal that we were happy with our food. The portions are a good size and the callaloo was great

I discovered this place on New Years Eve and oh my goddess the food is AMAZING!!!!! Jerk Chicken is my happy place and after ordering takeaway from here I was definitely happy ( the curry goat and callaloo were also spot on) . We'll be back and probably to dine in because it's spotlessly clean as well.

The food here is ridiculously tasty and CHEAP for what you get - we ordered the Jerk Chicken and rice & peas with fried chicken. It was all so well cooked, deliciously well spiced and just delightful. I've been looking for a great Caribbean place ever since leaving Leeds and this is the place - plus enough food for 2 meals for only about 12 quid is insane value IMO. I was also thoroughly impressed by the lovely lady at the front counter who was checking on everyone despite being very busy. Even coming in to get a takeout collection I felt quite welcome which is rare for many restaurants! Let's support this lovely local restaurant and i'll be telling my friends.

Had the vegan curry, dumplings and rice and it absolutely banged. The curry was so so tasty, the dumplings are probably the best I've ever had and the food stayed so hot. I picked it up got home and left in bag for about 45 mins and it was still steaming hot. So delicious can't wait to go back

We visited for the first time recently and what a suprise. The food was absolutely excellent. The goat tasted amazing. No kidding. The service was also very friendly and made our visit very pleasurable. I can see this place doing very well and it's just what the area needs. We will definitely be back again for more delicious food.

I could cry at how delicious the belly pork was! If I had to choose between my partner or that belly pork I would choose the pork everytime. The curried goat is tender, v spicy and full of flavour. Sweet potatoe fries dumplings and rice was just perfect. This is the real deal, you can taste the love in that food. Really lovely lady that served us too! :)

This is the nicest caribbean style food i have eaten. the smoked jerk chicken was tender and tasty with the rice,peas, gravy and veg.I also got a dumpling that is a delicious savory donut to dip in the sauce. Really nice owners who are rightfully proud of how they cook such great food without any nasty additives.

I don't typically leave reviews but my family and I just ordered for for delivery on 13/2 and it was excellent. We ordered the pork belly, ackee and salt fish, jerk chicken plus sides and each of them was fantastic. Great flavours, we are all stuffed so great value too. Can't wait for another excuse to order again.
