Pleasant food but the bar staff could have been more helpful and engaged with the customers. I notified staff that the handwash in the one toilet was completely empty - the 3 of them stared blankly at me, it wasn’t replenished while we were there, one them could easily have gone to Sainsburys to get more, it’s literally over the road. There’s no excuse for poor hygiene standards. Also don’t count on the wine menu, the wine listed wasn’t available and we were offered Jam Shed as an alternative. The standards seem to have slipped since our previous visit. Sad. Na… ciao heaven!

The choice of wines is amazing, the staff are always so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable! The food is INCREDIBLE, the mushroom croquettes and cheeses are some of the best I've ever tasted. We even had a cocktail last night and it was delicious and all very reasonably priced for what you get! We came to a private party here last night and the staff couldn't do enough for us all and our hosts. It was a great atmosphere and the food was just wonderful! Thank you so much, and see you soon!

Simply excellent. Friendly and helpful service. Food was seasonal and creative, presented well and full of flavour. Really nice ambience and decor as well. Cheddar Fritters - Mouthwateringly soft with nice crunch. Boudin Noir - Delicate with notes of sweetness that really shines. Nice texture and flavourful. Squash Ravioli - Outstanding. Best pasta I have ever eaten. Brixham Cod - Tad bit overseasoned. Extremely soft and moist. Good pairings. Amazing experience overall, thank you Landrace.

Nice country pub with food. The pate starter I had was small and basic, but in fairness very tasty. I had muscle linguine as a main that was served in a frightening hot bowl that continued to cook and dry out the food. The pasta was served with a heap of parmesan on the top which was not mentioned on the menu and made it very cheesy. Friendly service but the chef is best kept in the kitchen and not customer facing. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Think Indian Restaurant in a British pub. Curry and proper beer - what more can you ask for? Fantastic food by the guys who used to own the Pavillion near Stroud.
