Wow...where do I start. My husband booked afternoon tea for us to celebrate our anniversary today. What a fabulous and unique experience..from the moment we arrived until we left four hours later we were treated superbly. Nothing was too much trouble from the wonderful team who greeted us warmly on arrival. Special thanks must go to Ashlee for her beautiful tea and although busy took time to explain everything in detail to us..such an interesting lady that I could have sat and chatted to for hours. Likewise Alex was so lovely, they have created a very special welcoming resturant, that has a magical feel to it..we came away feeling beautifully relaxed..just a wonderful afternoon. Would highly recommend

Breakfast was OK found sausages very small but the main issue is the price nearly Ā£10 for a small breakfast and nearly Ā£14 for a full English but only 1 small sausage. It cost us over Ā£37 for a small breakfast and full English with drinks plus they put on a service charge which you can ask them to remove but I would not do that would I go back no just because of the prices. Staff very friendly and polite.

We have been to the Toby Carvery in Goring for years but this visit was extremely disappointing and one of the worst visits we have ever had. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the front of the house hostess, who had such a nonchalant attitude, it was hard to feel welcome. She took forever finding our booking, staring vacantly at her screen and then proceeded to quickly show us to our table and left back in a hurry, mumbling something which made us feel like an inconvenience. We were surprised to be sat in the bar area since we had specifically requested NOT to be sat there so went back to her and she simply stated that the other side of the restaurant was for disabled people only (???). This bears to question as to how disabled people can make it up the stairs in the main restaurant area? When we went to the carvery to get our lunch, we only saw one person in a wheelchair and the rest of the guests were not showing any disabilities anywhere in that part of the restaurant. One of us requested a bit of everything from the all the meats and was given literally crumbs from the turkey and tiny slithers from the other meat joints. I would never dare serving such pitiful portions at home to my family. The carver serving was swearing quite blatantly in front of the guests "we do bloody everything here" and rushing people with their orders, again, not the welcome you would expect when you pay to go out for lunch. The mash had run out so I requested a new pot and had to stand there for 5 minutes before some new mash was brought out, while the rest of the vegetables on my plate were going cold. Paying Ā£15 for slithers and crumbs of meat and Ā£12.99 for a meat free carvery (having simply veg on the plate) is a very steep price especially when the environment is not welcoming. If there has been a recent change in management, you may want to rethink your new staff and bring the old staff back as the previous front of the house manager was always welcoming and could never do enough to help. A very disappointing experience, not conducive to renewing a visit anytime soon.

I have visited this cafe twice now with my father in law who is in a wheelchair and frail. Both times the staff have been so welcoming, not minding me doing furniture moving to get dad into a spot where he will be happy. They have also been very understanding about my requests for the way dads drinks are made. We haven't eaten there yet, but the food looks lovely and everyone I have seen has cleared their plates. They also have a children's play area for younger children. I would recommend this cafe to everyone.

Lovely brunch. Had vegan breakfast X2. Very quick service. Younger staff not overly friendly but older ones definitely are which made for an enjoyable experience. Lovely quality of food and portions. Very nice decor . Just what we needed on a miserable rainy day.

I'm disgusted with the service from Pizza Hut Worthing, Goring Road. Not only did they give my teenager some whaffle about being a couple of minutes away, they didn't call her back or deliver and their 'proof' was a photo of the house taken from road inside the car without the food in it. When I took over the complaint - as our ring doorbell doesn't see any attempt at delivery, I was barked at and told "I believe my driver" before being hung up on. When I called again for the manager, I spoke to three different people who all claimed to be the manager - and one of them told me that the first claimant was a driver!!! Ryan Barr is it you? Scarlett Lee is it you? or is it indeed the incredibly shouty rude Vis Panchal? Guess we will never find out - Pizza Express is much better anyway.š #PizzaHut

So a few things, the food I rate some of the best fried wings in worthing. Good size portions also. Please bare in mind this WAS my go to chicken place and had been since it opened. That sadly will change as of this evening! The price hike is eye watering to say the least. A burger meal in here is now Ā£7.99 and six wings are Ā£5.10 on there own. I know the world has got expensive but I don't understand the pricing in here at all. By all means increase your price fairly but don't rip us a new one. Sad for me but I won't be returning.
