Delice Peri Peri in Worthing

So a few things, the food I rate some of the best fried wings in worthing. Good size portions also. Please bare in mind this WAS my go to chicken place and had been since it opened. That sadly will change as of this evening! The price hike is eye watering to say the least. A burger meal in here is now £7.99 and six wings are £5.10 on there own. I know the world has got expensive but I don't understand the pricing in here at all. By all means increase your price fairly but don't rip us a new one. Sad for me but I won't be returning.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this restaurant is terrible! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We ordered a takeaway tonight- although it arrived quickly, there was 2 black hairs in my halloumi wrap! I called the restaurant to complain and they didn’t seem to see a problem with it, the customer service is horrendous they were rude and raising their voice when I asked to speak to a manager asking me “what is the problem” and “what sort of hair do I want to complain about” No one ate their dinner that was delivered as the hair put people off- understandably. From 19:30-21:30 I have been trying to speak to the manager and keep getting told by the very rude man on the other end of the phone he’s out on delivery’s and will be ‘15 mins’ then putting the phone down on me. basically fobbing me off. I’m not a rude person, and have been trying to resolve this with the restaurant for 2 hours now with to no avail.... all I want is a refund. I will NEVER EVER order from here again

We have regularly ordered from delice Peri peri however this time the customer service was appalling. ordered our food at 5:45 and has FINALLY NOW arrived at 8:15. when we called up the first time one of the employees never gave the order, and said it would be a 20/30 minute wait. 40 minutes go by and we call again asking where our food is, only to be told “it’s out for delivery” and hung up. rung back and said that this wasn’t acceptable customer service, no reply and hung up again. Called up for the last time asking if this is how you speak to customers and if we were speaking to the manager, again no reply and hung up. embarrassing and disgraceful, will never be ordering here again and we were regulars.

We used to regularly order from delice peri peri however over the past 6 months they have gone terribly down hill! Delivery is always over an hour wait and never arrives any earlier, food is often cold and sloppy and service is appalling! Will never be ordering from here again, such a shame they used to be really good and have now lost another regular customer!

We have had many deliveries from this restaurant and the food has always been good. The problem is that they are ALWAYS late! Last night we finally had enough. We ordered food at 7.25 and were advised delivery would be at 8.10. Then we received a text saying it would arrive at 8.30. By 8.40 I tried to call them but they didn't answer their phone. Then I got another text saying delivery would be at 8.55, which is when the food finally arrived, 45 minutes after the originally advised time. We won't use this restaurant again.

We normally order from the Goring one I accidentally ordered from this one thinking it was the same place. I was so wrong to do this, I ordered 4 wraps one of which had an incorrect filling, I called to complain and all I received was a rude response you ordered beef I'm busy and he put the phone down on me! I will never order from here again don't waste your money on a place like this.

Peri peri wraps are always so tasty. Fills me up and is good value for money. Come here very often and can’t complain. Would reccomend delice peri peri to anyone!

Late food, cold food and missing food. An hour late, food was cold and veggie burger mushy. Chips missing. Only good thing I suppose was that the Deliveroo driver was nice.

Wanted a quick burger before getting train, and had my burger in my hands within 10 mins! I did think it wouldn’t be so good, but to my surprise was one of the best takeaway burgers I’ve ever had. Will deffo be ordering for from home for family

It's not what I expected. With Peri Peri in the name I was hoping for grilled chicken marinated in herbs and spices. Not the case it's a fried chicken shop

Just waited a whole hour for cold food. Wouldn’t recommend. Such a shame when you live a 2 min drive around the corner

That's Delice Peri Peri Fried Chicken. First time was excellent. It was a 6 piece and tasted as good as the famous fried chicken franchise. The second time wasn't as good but it wasn't bad.The last time I ordered I had a burger which was nice. I'm ordering from here again on the weekend. Also, they deliver quickly.

Been here 4 times or so over the last year or longer. It's always been very good, no issues. Chicken always cooked well and very tasty, although the extra hot could do with being spicier. Had the wedges every time and they have been very, very good. Prices are very good too.

I eat here 3 times a week. Grilled chicken wraps are great value! The grilled wings very good also. And the spicy peri peri Fries are fantastic. I would recommend to pick up. And go grilled not fried

Eseentially the order never arrived. When I called after realising it had been several hours the driver said he was tired and needed to sleep.

Soggy food. Order was incorrect. Chicken was rubbery and unimpressive. Shall not be returned. Oh and it was late.

The food came on time. It was nice and hot and it looked great. Looking forward to ordering again. This time will be ordering more portion for the whole family. We were happy with our food and the service. Thank you

Food very good and menu full of choices, our order was chicken meal deal which included drink and chips, cheese burger .Phone order given time of order which was met Food was hot and very tasty and not dried up very good polite delivery person

Food was delivered about half an hour after estimate and only after we phoned to find out where it was. The main course arrived cold, soggy and inedible. The drink that was delivered was not the one ordered. A salad that was ordered did not arrive. The only part of the meal we ate was the dessert.....everything else went straight into the dustbin. Restaurant refused to give any refund. This was supposed to have been a 'treat'......wasted evening.

Do not recommend this place at all.

The shop is newly refurbished and the staff reasonably efficient

We have ordered from here before and had to wait over an hour for our food, then when it arrived there were a couple of smaller sides missing. We were so hungry we didn't complain and thought it was probably a one off and they were busy. So we decided to try again last Thursday.

Ordered mild Peri Peri chicken, sweet potato fries.... Chicken was unbearably spicy for us and the fries were like mush. This was the first time we had used this takeaway it will definitely be the last. My husband also had regular fries which were stone cold and tasted like cardboard. This wasn't a pleasant experience at all.

ordering from them minimum once a week i love their grilled food finaly chinken wing are not a piece of flaming fried chicken you can buy everywhere they using amazing marinate (medium) and then grilling this as well as strips .. none of the takeaways i ordered from had a food that i can eat over and over again ...

Ordered online via the Hungryhouse website - ordering process went fine and all seemed very promising...until I arrived at the restaurant itself. Spent what felt like an eternity waiting at the till until I was acknowledged. Wasn't exactly busy in there, so no indication as to why the big delay at that point - poor customer service the only answer. When I was eventually served, I was greeted with a completely blank look when I said I had placed an order online. Another delay whilst my order was found...then began the big wait...hungry children waiting in the car...another family arrived, also with children, also made to wait an inordinate amount of time. At last, after about 20-25 minutes - in which time hardly any other customers - my order was presented and would you believe it, half of it was missing! Another wait ensued, after which I finally had what I had ordered. I said to the family as I got in the car, this food had better be worth the wait! Sadly, what we were greeted with was chewy chicken strips and chicken nuggets reminiscent of the 'value' options in supermarkets. The chips were ok but nothing special. So all in all a very disappointing experience and, as I said to the other family waiting in there at the same time, this place had better sort out their customer service if they're to survive any length of time. We won't be going back anytime soon.

I have eaten here once and once only and will probably not do it again. The food has nothing to do with Peri Peri and is really a fried chicken joint with fries. That said the chicken was cooked well and the service was quick and efficient.

Have been twice now - first time good food - second time they served chicken kebab instead of beef kebab asked for so unimpressed.

I went first week it opened and found the menu confusing and the staff helped add to the confusion.

I visited here shortly after it opened its doors for the first time in May 2016. At that time the staff were not fully up to date with all of the items on the menu, including all the different costing permutations.
