Super friendly staff and customers alike, ideal place for meeting friends or for eating alone as the atmosphere is so welcoming.

Been a few times now and the food has been consistent. Service can be a little slow. Bacon sarnies and coffee are very good. Lovely to sit outside when the weathers good.

So enjoyed it the 1st time, we called in again. Friendly, clean and good food and coffee, but, omitted the feta cheese from a roasted Mediterranean vegetable wrap with 'feta cheese'. Eaten most of it by the time I realised ( kept looking for it) and mentioned it. They said sorry but no redress of any kind. An opportunity missed I feel.

Always the best breakfast along Goring Rd, don't bother going anywhere else!

Never been in here before,but my sister and I gave it a go. Seating outside and inside. Only one person serving when we went in so ordering lunch took a long time. My sister had beans on toast which she said was lovely but couldn't finish it as it was such a big portion, my vegetarian selection sandwich was much smaller,the salad was miniscule and disappointing. The Cup of teaxwas great,hot and fresh. Will give it another try when in the area.

Popped into the cafe as we were passing through Goring, on a stormy day, and didn’t know the area. Ordered two BLTs, and oddly, they were cooked exactly as we asked. They were the best BLTs we’ve had in England. Friendly and efficient staff. Keep up the good work!

Sitting in the sunshine with a toasted sandwich or Panini , and a lovely cup of coffee , watching the world go by , thinking that it doesn't get any better . If that's what you would like , then go to the Bay Leaf Cafe. Along with friendly polite service there is an extensive menu , freshly made coffee , cakes , and ice cream . You cannot go wrong. The club sandwich is the best , freshly made , delicious .

Probably left a review before but can't recall. And yet that's how good this place is that it's making me want to leave another. Food is always delicious. Staff are utmost friendly and accommodating to needs. Will never tire of coming here.

The Bay Leaf Cafe may be small and easily missed but it is well worth a visit. Excellent coffee and great food backed up with good friendly service. The prices are much better than Costa just across the road. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Have started visiting this small cafe and really enjoy the coffee tea cakes toast and marmalade that we have ordered and eaten in house...they also do take out drinks...the staff are friendly and very helpful...we will continue visiting them.

First visit, super friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast, eggs, sausage, bacon, beans bread and coffee were just perfect. If that wasn't enough, wash it down with a cut maple and pecan cake and another coffee!! Yum!!

Lovely food and quaint atmosphere. It used to be The Mad Hatter, which was a colourful, quirky café. This decor is a bit bland but quiet, out of the way & friendly staff make up for that

Popped in for a coffee recently with a friend and came away with a smile on my face! The cafe itself is welcoming, the staff so very friendly, great atmosphere and the choice of cakes available looked delicious. The coffee was absolutely great and the meals that were being served all looked lovely so am definitely now going to make this my coffee stop - next time maybe with cake!

Breakfast wrap with cheese and brown sauce. Extra toasted. Makes you wonder what else you need from life. That mixed with service of a lifetime makes for a truly unique experience.

A lovely cafe with great food and drinks, it has easy access with no steps. The staff are very friendly, the tables are clean and have adequate seating and leg room.

Sitting outside in the sun at lunch time today was lovely. Good value food , the sandwiches are lovely. Especially the Brie and Cranberry toasted . The coffee is the best on the parade for taste and value. Definitely worth a visit.

I rarely visit this particular shopping parade, which is a shame because the shops are pretty good. On this occasion I was with my daughter-in-law, looking for some furniture for my grandson's room and we took longer than expected as we found what we wanted, ordered it and decided to stop for a quick break before going home. We hadn't been in this little cafe before but it looked clean and inviting so in we went. Excellent choice! Friendly waitress, freshly made sandwiches in beautiful fresh bread and good coffee that you didn't need a microscope to see! Very basic but clean toilet at the back - not sure if you could get a wheelchair in there though.

I stopped in here a while back and had a very generous portion of Eggs Royale. I had to wait a little while for it but I feel that shows the food is made fresh to order. It was very tasty. The coffee was good too, although they had run out of ice (I wanted an iced coffee) so I had ice cream in it instead, which turned out to be very pleasant. This cafe also has free, password-protected WiFi.

My overall experience of using Bay Leaf Cafe on several occasions is all positive. Leon the owner goes the extra mile to help and meet all the customers needs and requirements. I have specific dietary needs and he went out of his way to ensure I was fully satisfied. The toasted sandwiches are amazing with a side garnish, you wouldn’t receive from a share holder chain cafe. Not to mention again the outstanding service. Keep up the good work and hope to see and enjoy again soon. Regards !!

Nice friendly people, relaxed atmosphere so good if you are on your own as well as in a group. Good food and drinks. Small and cosy, very clean and tidy with good toilet facilities. Loyalty card available so a free drink if you visit a few times. I like it a lot😊

Nice cozy cafe with friendly staff. Great food if you're vegetarian but if you chose any meat or egg be careful as these are regularly undercooked. Not safe got any pregnant women out there.

I have to say that my experience has been nothing but positive so far especially having moved to here from regularly visiting a competitor. The service from the general staff, husband and wife team is lovely and cannot fault their willingness to make you feel welcome. The milkshakes are great, the club sandwich is amazing and it's nice that they really demonstrate that they value their customers, want to do as much for them and they take card payments too. I love a 'Cafe con leche' which you get in Spain. After talking about it to the owner Leon, he regularly makes this for me off the menu. Wishing you continued deserved success and please when you can get a bigger premises... you will do even better! Go for it!

Excellent cafe.... Gluten free options in abundance and very child friendly. Staff are very helpful and as a coffaholic the latte was to die for. New business please give them a try you won't be disappointed

Children really enjoyed their lunches. Just the right size for small people. Bacon and brie toasted sandwich with cranberry mouth watering. The coffee grounded and tasty. It's such a shame that people who used to go to the old shop have nothing nice to say about the cafe and its service!

I want to try an support local business and this is how a coffee shop should be run. Fantastic tasting coffee and £1.80 for a take out cappacino is great value. Very friendly staff. Clean tables. Simple but pleasant to be in. Breath of fresh air compared to the chains. Will go again. Recommended

Stopped by here for a quick breakfast. It’s ok inside and very friendly lady serving but unfortunately the breakfast let it down we thought it was expensive for what it was and the sausages were not very nice and rather gritty. I don’t like saying it but I won’t be going back for breakfast.

We tried the new Bay Leaf café as we like to support our local businesses and we used to visit the previous café on the site. It was a Saturday morning but was no means packed however the service was very slow. This was fine for us as we were in no hurry, and the young waitresses were perfectly pleasant, nevertheless when our cooked breakfast arrived it was cold (fried egg was fine but beans, sausage and bacon were stone cold). We had to ask for our food to be warmed up. The bacon was hard. My vegetarian friend couldn't order the cooked breakfast as they had run out of veggie sausages (at 10am).

First few times food was good the last time the bacon was hardly cooked. Nice and clean friendly service from young girl.

I came in today for lunch and had the Bacon, Brie and Cranberry sandwich along with a Pineapple & Coconut milkshake. It was all very lovely and the staff are still very friendly indeed.

Thought we'd try the new cafe in Goring as we always support the independent businesses and we'd loved the cafe that was here before . What a let down the bland decor and the smallest pot of tea for two, did not even fill the cups to the brim, not even a pot of hot water, the cake was the best bit of the visit apart from the girl handing us the forks by the prongs !!!

Popped in a couple of times for take away drinks. The staff are really nice and friendly. I haven't eaten here yet but have had a quick look through the menu; it looks like they do a nice selection of food.
