The Lazy Brunch in Worthing

Lovely brunch. Had vegan breakfast X2. Very quick service. Younger staff not overly friendly but older ones definitely are which made for an enjoyable experience. Lovely quality of food and portions. Very nice decor . Just what we needed on a miserable rainy day.

Nice to have a cafe with outdoor seats though traffic noise can be overpowering at times. Trellis screens fitted to the flower boxes would reduce traffic and pedestrian proximity. A very comprehensive menu, though we came seeking recommended small plates but available evenings only. Three different menus in one day seems like a lot of work and too many decisions Settled for the jacket potato, too much food!!!. Good tasty ingredients well prepared and presented, chicken ceasar salad excellent, a beer and a glass of wine made it a memorable meal at a reasonable price. An excellent experience.

I would just like to say I brought my grandchildren here for a treat. The food was lovely and the staff were also.very attentative. A small issue I had was very quickly rectified. We will be back

Met up for a birthday breakfast, coffees took 30 mins to arrive and then the breakfasts another 15 mins! they weren't anything to write home about either! my teacake was very very small, flat and slightly burnt not like a moist teacake should be, so disappointed especially for my friend whose birthday it was!

I came here to meet a friend today with my 10 week old baby - lovely and spacious, coffee was lovely and food was yummy! Baby facility was so useful and the staff were lovely!

Forgot 2 meals all together arrived late and stone cold. Food is overpriced and tasted cheap and potion sizes were laughable.

Walked in and stood at the desk and waited 15 minutes for the cashier to finish her privet conversation. When she finally did notice me (with eyes that say, why are you bothering me) she said to just find a seat and order at the desk. I sat down and it appeared that the caffe hadn’t been cleaned well for some time. I walked out shortly after. Not sure what kind of people can withstand such miserable service and dirty conditions.

Ordered a breakfast to be delivered this morning. Both me and my husband ordered eggs benidicts. Took ages to arrive and when it did, as you can see from the photo it was absolutely awful. No sauce, dry muffin, soggy bacon and eggs that weren't runny. Will never order from here again. Went straight in the bin.

A great little spot for lunch! I had the bacon cheese burger and ordered it naked as I'm watching the carb intake. Out comes George the chef with a beautifully presented board with a ton of fresh salad, coleslaw and a little side of jalapeños to boot. the basket of perfectly cooked chips that were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside killed my avoidance of carbs 😀 A great experience and I shall be back. If you're in the area, worth the experience! Halloween candy also helped to hinder a low carb day...thanks George 👻

Popped in we were in the area and fancied a quick bite. Lucked out with this place. Had a nice table outside and the service was super friendly. I had the sausage, cheese and chilli jam sandwich and my wife had ham egg and chips. It was all tremendous and excellent value. Thank you!

When you've been running around the park with 4 children all under 8, and you and your sister are weighing up whether it's a good idea to insist the children sit nicely whilst you ply yourselves with wine ... just stop, and instead of doing that, go to Lazy Brunch. We came here on a whim with our kids and it was great! Excellent service, really friendly staff and the desserts are amazing. My nephews had the waffles and my son had a couple of scoops of ice cream. The portions are generous, so what I thought would be a small sugary treat for my 4 year old, quickly turned into him polishing off everyone else's leftovers, which of course made the walk home and bedtime a sugary emotional mess. My sister had the milkshake, which she told me was fantastic and I had an iced coffee, because after 3 hours of parenting, it was either caffeine or alcohol, and it was lovely. Overall, lovely treat for the fam and will definitely be coming back!

My friend and I visited this cafe today 14/12/2020 we both decided to have the eggs Benedict which was acceptable but the plates were chipped and cracked I mentioned this to the very nice waitress who reply sorry but they get used alot.words fail me

Las patatas fritas eran crujientes, pero por el mero hecho de cuánto petróleo fueron saturados. Me siento el lazy cocina brunch sufrirá fuertemente cuando los precios del petróleo suben. Esperamos durante mucho tiempo a que llegara nuestra comida (suficiente tiempo para beber un cálido Pepsi Max y una taza de agua caliente o espumosa degustación de café) y ligeramente nos sentimos la necesidad de pedir cuando nuestra comida iba a ser servido y la señora respuesta fue que las hamburguesas eran fresco que aumentó nuestras expectativas. Sin embargo, cuando llegó la comida era absolutamente sin sabor. Pero podemos decir que el aceite parecía fresco.Mientras por un hambre de ser eyeballed seagull dejamos la mesa con la comida aún en nuestros platos. Ahora estoy sensación culpable porque tengo visiones de los pobres aves siendo víctima de un charco de aceite.En general el servicio me sentí un poco frío y tener que pagar antes comimos porque nos sentamos afuera sentimos algo ofensivo, pero no significa que podría dejar.

Me he acostumbrado Brunch vago unas cuantas veces, y para ser justos, la comida ha sido agradable y el café era bueno, pero en mi última visita, mi compañero era tener un poco de un mal día, así que en vez de robot para el personal, él simplemente nos sentamos en una mesa y esperaron a participar. No introduce la tienda juntos, pero como ya he entrado y nos dio un alegre hola, la mujer contador chistaba( en mi compañero encendió y me hizo algunos comentarios desagradables sobre mi pareja (de su sona). Me dirigí a pedir un café, de todos modos, entonces la señora nos preguntó si puedo utilizar la internet. Le dije que sí, punto en el que ella me pidió que escriba una crítica porque el café estaba recibiendo críticas negativas de los clientes, diciendo el personal era desagradable. Le dije que, entonces como me senté en mi mesa, socios, claramente me ocurrió que estábamos juntos, punto en el cual, ella llegó, le dijo a mi compañero para alentar y trató de transmitir su insultos como bromas. Si no hubiéramos sido reuniones alguien allí, me hubiera ido a otro sitio.Bastaba decir que sha no usando ese cafe de nuevo, y sin duda no la recomiendo mientras que el empleado trabaja allí.

Really well made good quality food, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, very child friendly, the child cups have kids on, such a small thing makes such a difference to a hassle free brunch, best bacon I've eaten in a long time, will defiantly go here again

Este es mi café local y veo absolutamente ninguna falla en el servicio o la comida. La comida es de primera calidad, de forma que recibe lo que se paga, si quieres un plato lleno de comida grasienta grasienta y luego ir a una cafetería barata sucia, la comida es fresca. Visité aquí para el almuerzo con un par de amigos, he visitado muchas veces antes, normalmente sobre una base de dos semanas y todos disfrutamos muchísimo. Tuve patata chaqueta con queso, jamón y col, que no estaba en el menú, pero se adaptaron tan fácilmente sin una queja y no cobran una fortuna por el placer. Mis amigos tenían un club sándwich y una hamburguesa que parecía absolutamente deliciosa! El ambiente es genial, es acogedor pero vibrante y acogedor, el hecho de que era sólo una mesa de café a la izquierda en todo el lo dice todo. Yo sin duda volveremos de nuevo, y sé que mis amigos también lo hará. Un lugar fabuloso

We popped in here yesterday for tea and a cake and were bowled over by how nice it was and how lovely the owner and staff were, really made us welcome. Today we made a return trip, this time for breakfast. Everything was good quality and cooked well, staff once again made us very welcome, we have dined at various places on the seafront and in Worthing and this is our new favourite. There is seating outside and it welcomes children..... there is also good access if you have someone disabled with you. Parking is directly opposite and free.

I often seem to finish up here with my wife or daughter or both. We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the coffee & the cake. We have once or twice visited earlier in the day & had savoury dishes, which were most enjoyable. We like it here & it's a refreshing alternative to the big coffee chains.

Not for the first time no-one bothered to come and take my order. Walked away after waiting for fifteen minutes. I will not be going back which is such a shame as I always used to love this cafe.
