The best restaurants in Owslebury and Curdridge Winchester South East

We decided to give Tim's a go as we have been less than impressed with our other local late night food options. The customer are was light airy and clean and behind the counter, the stainless cladding a polished to within an inch of it life. Hygiene is clearly a key focus here... So we ordered a couple of kebabs. My donner was built from precut meat which is a shame as I like the crispy bits you get from a freshly shaved kebab, but it was tasty and the salad fresh and pleantyful . I was also saddened to see the skewer used from my wife's food was replaced by a frozen item that looked "bought in" rather than hand crafted on site. Having said this, it all tasted excellent, was a reasonable price served by happy courteous staff. So they have earned my repeat business. Well done.

Great live music venue - only one in Winchester? Certainly best known. Stuff on most days of week.

After repeatedly being advised that the menu is often 'incomplete' we attended for evening dinner. Once being seated, drinks ordered and served, the menu was advised as 'full'... however after ordering the food and waiting some while for it to arrive we were advised that actually ...... "all cooking facilities were down..." and therefore NO dinner could be served..... Although the bar staff who were asked to convey the message were polite the kitchen staff were NOT... Another failed food visit at the Ship.

Having had our daughters wedding at this venue this weekend and after all the trials and stress that goes with planning a wedding I had to write this review while still reeling in the the overwhelming success that was largely due to the staff at Wickam Estates. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole day was marvellous. The setting is superb. Not the cheapest venue by far but worth ever penny. I would have no hesitation in recommending this venue to anyone. Thank you so much.

No habíamos estado aquí por siglos y pensamos que era hora de darle otra oportunidad... ..tan contentos de haberlo hecho. Un miembro del personal muy animado y extrovertido lo recibió cálidamente. Ella nos sentó y luego regresó para nuestro pedido de bebidas. Al encontrar que la mesa se tambaleaba, nos trasladó a una mesa diferente. El menú es muy limitado, pero esto estaba bien para nosotros. Aunque habíamos reservado nuestra mesa, un paseo en grupo de 12 acababa de llegar, lo que significa que tuvimos que esperar. La comida era fantástica, fresca, caliente y abundante. Yo estaría de acuerdo con el crítico anterior que la comida es mucho más caro que los precios en el menú de muestra del sitio web. ¡El asado fue de 27 libras! Sin embargo, porciones abundantes y un plato gratinado de verduras complementario! Volveremos... . .

Very friendly and excellent service and food well worth a visit

We were given a gift voucher at Christmas for afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco. What a pleasant surprise it was when we went inside, the owner immediately welcomed us and showed us to our table. Our large glass of Prosecco was very enjoyable, it was clear all the sandwiches were made as we were sat down, very fresh and tasty. Warm scones and a choice of various cakes on show. The service and atmosphere was wonderful, I wish the owner all the best in making a go of her business.

Una señora grosera dirige esto, no es agradable para los niños y no tiene conciencia de los niños con necesidades especiales. Evite si tiene hijos, especialmente con necesidades adicionales.

Offer 2 for 1 on pizza and then say they are too busy. Absolute jokers! Was told to wait 15 minutes, went back, wait a further 30 minutes. Go back again and told no longer serving pizzas.

Visitado para el almuerzo. El servicio fue extremadamente lento en el restaurante Esperamos por lo menos 20 minutos antes de que nuestro pedido fuera tomado, no nos preguntaron si queríamos alguna bebida, así que solo fuimos al bar. La comida salió muy rápido. El menú es enorme. Tuvimos un arado y aunque bien presentado se beneficiaría de tener menos ingredientes de mayor calidad. El cheddar era bastante insípido y el pastel de cerdo se compró en la tienda y también carecía de cualquier sabor.

The zoo has gone down hill. Spent a day there today and was dissatisfied with what I saw. Also cash is legal tender and not accepted. Lots of areas no access and the penguins temp place is not great for viewing . Disappointed with the copy.

Tienen un poco de todo en cuanto a la comida, desde papas al horno hasta tés en crema. Y puedes sentarte y mirar los caballos también. Todos son muy amables también

Please rethink. We are here during half term. Busy? No. One other table only yet service took too long. The higher prices don’t match the quality of the bland food. Everything we had was dry and chewy.. we did complain and got one meal refunded as it was pork belly with no pork! The kids meals were ok to be fair but the main menu was awful, pizza was bought in and dry, ham crumbled upon touch. The greens with the mains were undercooked and spikey. The menus were laminated plastic like a cafe which doesn’t match the £29 price tag for some meals. No music, weird atmosphere. Breakfast was ok, basic and warm but left a lot to be desired sadly

Vino a desayunar mientras miraban mi coche por la carretera. Muy impresionado por lo frescos que estaban todos los artículos del desayuno a las 10 am, 2 horas de servicio. Todo muy bien cocinado y un buen plato de comida. El café también era agradable. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera. Mucho espacio y mesas, y un ambiente muy relajado. Gracias a todos.
