Groupon "all day breakfast" deal ... lady who does cooking was nice, breakfast was OK, but all a bit cold, damp, run down.

What a joke ! Groupon breakfast miss leading photo. Gone off sausage Hard egg Old tasting beans Rank tomato sauce All served on a cold 1960s scratchy plate ! Room like a fridge , tatty furniture horse manure all over ladies loo floor . Might be the best livery yard but they should put an extra couple of stables in place of the kitchen before they give some one food poisoning . AVOID !!

Basic cafe which is probably ideal if you are already at the stables, but I don't think many visiting with a groupon deal would be tempted to return. The breakfast was cooked from scratch and very nice but we were disappointed, because as other reviewers have said the groupon photo does not represent what you actually get.

It was a mistake visiting here. Staff had a total lack of interest which is a great shame as it could have so much potential. Looking at another customers breakfast I decided to give it a miss and just have tea. What I got was a mug with a budget tea bag thrown in. I won't be returning in a hurry.

we went to the hayrack with a groupon voucher and had a good home cooked breakfast ,the lady who does the breakfast was half an hour late on parade but we were given tea in the meantime and the breakfast that was cooked by another member of staff was excellent . It is a no frills cafe and there is a step down to the order bar ,you also have to self serve for milk. sugar etc. The picture as advertised ,a friend said was miss leading as you only get one egg one sausage etc and he had toast and butter and marmalade but we didn't . but we are going to go back as lovely atmosphere wit charming staff and house dogs running about . For anyone who likes horses its great ,good place to take children who are interested in riding as pony club, lessons etc well catered for.,all in all we enjoyed it

My dad got us a groupon deal for breakfast at this cafe. So we thought today we would try it.. Well we definitely won't be going again. My parents are elderly and disabled and can not do steps so getting to the counter was an issue. The women behind the counter was rather abrupt when asked what you get with the breakfast "it's a set breakfast" no explanation. After bring given 3 mugs with hot water and a tea bag each told all things were on a table there were no sweetners and with my dad being a diabetic was unable to drink his tea. No apology given. A little while later we heard a shout " 4 BREAKFASTS" we presumed were ours so back down the steps a few times to collect, well what we got was, ( the picture on groupon showed 2 sausages mushrooms etc what we got slopped on a plate was 1 bacon 1 sausage, undercooked egg and cheap and cold beans. Oh and hash brown I'd have mistaken for a rubber. We ate what we could and left. But hey I will give it one good thing.. Nice to see the beautiful horses being ridden round the arena. But if u like a small breakfast, weak tea, bad attitude and the smell of horse toliet then this is the place for you.

Lovely coffee and service but disgusting toilets. Like a Ship's lavatory after a booze cruise. Gut wrenching tbh.

Unfortunately, The Bakers Arms in Winchester falls short of expectations. The beer selection is uninspiring, with a lack of variety and little effort to offer anything beyond the most basic options. If you're hoping for a decent pint or something unique, you’ll likely leave disappointed. However, the bigger issue is the overall atmosphere and customer service. There’s an unwelcoming feel to the place, with staff who seem disinterested at best and outright rude at worst. Rather than creating a warm, friendly environment, interactions often feel like you're inconveniencing them just by ordering a drink. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to linger. With so many great pubs in Winchester, there’s little reason to return to The Bakers Arms. A pub should be about more than just serving drinks—it should offer a welcoming experience, and sadly, this one misses the mark.
