Teenage son and I almost fell out on an unexpected 180 mile round trip as he wanted to eat and I wanted good coffee - at traffic lights I spotted the sign for TEA ROOM and pulled in. What a find! Lovely tables and chairs, pictures on the wall. Small menu, but everything freshly made / made to order - can't fault it all. Son had sausage sandwich and I had smoked salmon, fresh brown bread with salad garnish and crisps. Coffee came in a cafetiere (oh joy!) and we both had the coffee and walnut cake. Highly recommend this delightful little place. Sad that I live so far away -but I hope to be back coffee and cake!

We are staying at Warner’s Heythrop Park and walked into the village for lunch. We'd been to the Crown before and it was excellent on that occasion; possibly even better this time as the food was superb. We shared the Rhuben sandwich and the cheddar beignets, both really good and highly recommended. Friendly staff, good selection of local beers, well worth a visit if you are in the area.

We loved this hotel! We arrived by rental car after 5:00pm, Ellen immediately got us checked in & led us to our room. She was incredible & let me tell you she does it all - concierge, waitress, bar tender, janitorial, etc. She was so nice & so incredibly helpful! There is a free parking lot nearby. Our room was beautiful & comfortable. we felt very safe & secluded, tucked away in the beautiful countrysides of England. Absolutely stunning building! There are spiral staircases since the building is historic, but we had no trouble carrying up our suitcases. The floors creaked & we could hear through the walls/floors during the day but that just adds to the charm! It was quiet during sleeping hours. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Sunday Lunch We had a fantastic meal at this renovated gastropub in the Cotswolds. I was worried the venison portion was on the small side, but the meat was very flavourful and well cooked. The pork was very tender with excellent crackling. We waited 10’+ for our dessert, which the waitress was kind enough to comp from our bill. Extensive wine selection and a good choice of beers and mocktails. Service was friendly and attentive. Great to see dogs are allowed!

lovely food.. l should have asked for a spare plate and only one serving of sandwiches between me and mum - mum and l had cheese and fig chutney sandwiches - crisps and green salad. Dad had one of his favorite sandwiches. l had a juice and pot of tea for one.. my dad had a beer l think and mum had ginger beer. service was ok.. bit slow but totally understanding that there where a lot of people dining in on account of the rain. it was really nice to see a few of the same staff we saw on our last visit in February. l really liked the rooms and loved just sitting there looking around at the artwork etc while eating my lunch.
