Teenage son and I almost fell out on an unexpected 180 mile round trip as he wanted to eat and I wanted good coffee - at traffic lights I spotted the sign for TEA ROOM and pulled in. What a find! Lovely tables and chairs, pictures on the wall. Small menu, but everything freshly made / made to order - can't fault it all. Son had sausage sandwich and I had smoked salmon, fresh brown bread with salad garnish and crisps. Coffee came in a cafetiere (oh joy!) and we both had the coffee and walnut cake. Highly recommend this delightful little place. Sad that I live so far away -but I hope to be back coffee and cake!

What a great cafe situated in an antiques centre. We had a first class lunch of freshly made sandwiches and salad. The lemon drizzle cake was light and tasty and I wanted more. Enjoyed the cafe so much that we called in again after we had been around the antiques centre. From speaking to the manager I understand the cafe is under new management and needs to build up its clientele. It definitely deserves the support of the locals with an antique centre thrown in to wander around.

Lovely baguette crammed with filling but I make no apology for saying £6.50 is excessive. That's what I'd expect to pay in a pub or restaurant, not in a takeaway sandwich bar. £4 ish would be more r

Absolutely wonderful experience, would give it 6 stars if I could. Rolled up solo on my motorbike after spotting it on Shed and Buried or similar. Was blown away by an incredible three cheese toastie
