The best restaurants in West Berkshire South East

This is our local Costa and we don't normally use a café so close to home, but it was raining, so we took a break and a coffee here. It is just as any Costa Coffee should be, predictable but reliable. They were cleaning even the ceiling lamps when we were there, so they must take cleanliness seriously, even though some tables needed to be cleared. Happy to come back again when it rains.

On our way to Bournemouth we had a comfort stop at Chieveley services we manage to purchase 2 lovely decaf coffee's at Costa coffee we recieved quick friendly service I enjoy the blend of coffee served collecting the bean's is a good incentive.

Not happy this time as well . Ordered birthday cake for 31st March 2024 a week before. The day of collection they said , they were unable to deliver as the cake was damaged . Trying to convince us , to take another cake , At the end I got the refund. I am sure they didn’t even realised how much it upset a customer. I understand problem happens but the way you solve it that makes the difference. If the attitude is like , what’s the difference to take any other cake but not you have chosen . Careless and unprofessional.

Lovely fresh pizza & delivered so quickly. Nice to see a large pizza at a better price as the prices were getting ridiculous. They don’t cost much to make & I would never pay the full silly prices otherwise. I could not fault the food it was delicious.

Absolute disgrace. Can I call trading standards?? £12 for a. Burger that looks fantastic on the scene display. Oh the disappointment when you sit down on the greasy seats and open up the wrapping. Quite frankly disgusting. If it was a fiver I wouldn’t mind. DON’T eat there. It’s a rip off!

I’m not allergic to nuts. Husband allergic to nuts Child, potential allergy. We ordered an ice cream each and two of those were the chocolate brownie ice cream - this was ordered based on no advertisement of nuts being present. My son ate his and thankfully no reaction but my husband who has a nut allergy had a sudden swelling of his lips and throat and quickly went up to the counter to ask if said ice cream contained nuts. The Asian man at the counter looked at a rolled up piece of paper in a plastic film and threw it across to us without saying anything and we looked ourselves and peanuts are in fact in the chocolate brownie ice cream. My husband then told them of his allergy and said this needs to be advertised, no apology from them. In fact, they actually didn’t respond and we left. A simple lolly stick in the gelato with the allergen written would suffice. God forbid someone buys their ice cream and is highly allergic. Needless to say, they have been reported to public protection.

Litterly the worse place to drink in this town the barmaid was rude and looked like she didn't actually want to be working was more than happy to doss about outside having a fag and thing's and generally complaining about everything when she finaly did actually do anything,there was no ice for drinks or any stacks the hole place had a very negative atmosphere felt very uncomfortable with the attitude of the staff and the other customers at times

Unfortunately 1 star is the minimum rating. This location used to be reliable and good quality; since outsourcing their delivery to Uber you now have to wait over an hour and a half for delivery and their solution is to wait until the pizza arrives cold then they will send a replacement, prolonging the time further.

Hubiera sido fantástico... si el café fuera lo que pedimos o no fuera la temperatura de la superficie del sol... Podría ser peor podría haber gastado diez centavos en dos cafés malos... ¡oh espera! Pensé que Costa tenía máquinas trampa para que los baristas no necesitaran ser baristas de verdad 🤔

Cracking food at a great price. Lovely people. Proper pub.

My son and I popped in for a drink scone and cream. Looked good but it was terrible. The cream had been left out on the side in a big tub. When we went to eat it, it was like runny, tasteless mess. I had spotted someone walking through with proper Rhondda’s cream but when I enquired the waitress said the big pot is apparently all they had it’s whipped up in the morning and she said been in the fridge. It was left on the side for a good 15 mins whilst we queued so that wasn’t right. We kept to just scone and jam but the scone was as dry as anything and hard as a rock. If we visited again it will be drinks only!

Fish tasted very nice, hot wings very spicy and tasty, sadly the chips were very small and bitty with a few larger ones.

Pasé aquí de camino a casa desde Dorking ayer para un descanso cómodo. Normalmente paramos en Leigh Delamare como el deber nos llame. Los baños para mujeres en particular estaban sucios, olorosos y repugnantes. Ninguna de las puertas del inodoro cerradas y las marcas en las paredes del cubículo parecían no haber sido limpiadas durante días. Mi compañero dijo que los caballeros eran iguales. Por lo tanto, no compramos nada aquí, ya que esto nos aplazó. Entiendo que estaba ocupado pero no había estándares.
