The best restaurants in Waverley South East

Quality of tee and a smattering of other beverages that my accomplice and I sampled were most pleasant . However my expedition was most spoiled by the absolutely appalling service, a certain waiter clearly intoxicated on the marijuana and was clearly incompetent to function - forgetting orders and having overall appalling manners. I am disgruntled

These guys should not be in hospitality rude beyond belief. This was my second visit thought the first my be a bad day but no, just the same rude attitude. My mistake never again explains why on a sunny Friday lunchtime only three people in the cafe. I can only imagine its their first time as well.

This is one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever had. Sweet and sour chicken balls were full of grease, egg fried rice was a solid lump and chips were hard, dry and reheated. A complete waste of money as practically inedible!

The totally disinterested member of staff behind the till should have been a warning sign that all was unlikely to go well. In fairness the drinks were okay. However, the chocolate chip cookie which we were advised was gluten free, certainly could not have been, based on the subsequent reaction. Also, the same dopey member of staff should really have been clearing cups and plates from tables rather than being attached to her mobile phone.

We had another great take away last night. They are always very helpful and delicious food! I don't think these other reviews can be from the same place?

Every time I visit this Starbucks it feels like I’m intruding on the staff who seem more occupied with chatting than they do serving. The waiting time for coffee is ridiculous, and staff aren’t allocated efficiently. I genuinely hate it there, I just love the coffee.

The place looks lovely and the atmosphere was nice. The staff was fine, not very engaging or friendly. Ordered a takeaway peppermint tea and a cheese bun. The tea tasted decent but the takeaway cups were almost unusable. The lid became warm and very flimsy to the point where it kept slipping off, spilling hot tea over my hands. Good for them for using biodegradable lids but they are definitely not safe to use for hot drinks. Serious safety hazard. The bun I had was nice but nothing special. Willing to give the place a second chance but on first experience I would not recommend unless you sit in, which is difficult since the seating is minimal. 3/10

Last time I've been here, it was THE BEST dominos I ever had! The service was very nice and I knew some workers there and they where very nice too. The food is always good and yummy. It is very appetising and good quality I don't know what else to say but you can clearly see inside how they make the stuff. But you can't have 10 people inside the waiting as it is small and I saw dead ant flies as in beacon hill there is a lot of flying ants so it is not there fault and they have a thing that kills them so eat the dough The coupons are crazy on the app by the way so if your reading this guys, get the dominos pizza app! Last time I tried it was in 2024. When the mac & cheese came out Very nice I do recommend

The worst experience ever. We’ve moved in to Farncombe few months ago. We’ve come in to this pizza place after busy week. When we were about to place an order with the owner , become very rude towards his worker who served us . The man who worked there was very polite and friendly trying to offer us the best deal and the older man stared shouting at him. Afer he took order from us this old man was disciplining this man like he was a little boy. I’m feeling sorry for this man who’s working there. How horrible to be treated like this in front of clients, no respect to us and his staff , also he made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. AVOID if you can the worst place I’ve been- never will return.

So disgusted. Have just ordered a domino’s from here, we ordered 2 pizzas, 2 sides and one large drink. Once we got a knock on the door for it we answered within about 2 seconds. Opened the door, our food was on the floor expect one of our sides were missing. Not to mention, the pizza’s were quite cold too. The delivery driver obviously didn’t want us to see their face as they didn’t deliver all of what we ordered. So they left our door extremely quick for us not to be able to see them. We have then called them to explain this and have been accused of lying, been spoke to in a very rude manner and told that the delivery driver “can’t lie”…we asked for a refund and they said that they can’t do that, we asked if they could deliver our other side and they said that they couldn’t do that either. Absolutely ridiculous, can’t believe this.

The pizza is great and rly good

I live very local but only been here a few times. Its been average or poor. My trip this evening was very poor. For two battered sausage with chips which is simple and basic from a chippy. The sausage was very bland and the batter may have been wrapped in a pancake. The chips were under cooked and tasted awful. The curry sauce waterey. I putthe sausage in the air fryer to try and salvage something to no avail. I want to support local but I won't make myself feel ill over it. Choose differently 😌

This coffee shop is the worst of all Gail’s I have been to. Firstly I have to say the staff are very friendly but unfortunately that’s the only positive thing I can say. This was not my first visit but it seems every experience has been the same. If you come at lunch time there is never enough available food and simply sold out before 11:30am, the counter empty with limited options. Smoked salmon bagel, chicken burger, quiches and the list goes on…! On the last visit staff advised that certain foods are being made at certain times, so I did follow their advice and arrived next day just to be told that food I wanted has already sold out again and I should call ahead first! Seriously what kind of coffee shop is this! For the time being I would advised to stay away and don’t waste your time to avoid disappointment. There is so many other places in Godalming who care for ther customers and I’ll be going to these from now on.

This used to be good until they started to go SO WRONG with the food, your only there for some yummy food? 1st, it was so expensive and totally nit worth it 2nd, the cookies where HALF BAKED and cookies contain eggs! So that could of been bad but it was fine, I through them away and said that I'm never going there again. I also got 7 chicken strips. They where fine but they could of been better cooked so it's more crispy 3rd, the atmosphere was nice but it was so hot and it felt very uncomfortablun and there where heaters everywhere but except that, the walls with the phrases where good and the tables where crusty and there was leftover pizza not thrown away. What a shame dominoes I thought yall where better than this 😡
