Starbucks in Waverley

Every time I visit this Starbucks it feels like I’m intruding on the staff who seem more occupied with chatting than they do serving. The waiting time for coffee is ridiculous, and staff aren’t allocated efficiently. I genuinely hate it there, I just love the coffee.

Very slow at the drive through. Waited over 7 minutes for 3 coffees . Not very busy either about 3 cars waiting. Young girl laying her head down on the counter where drinks / food prepared . Rude , not very pleasant staff. If you want a quick coffee with a smile avoid this particular Starbucks in Farnham

I love a visit to Starbucks! And Water Lane doesn’t usually disappoint, but today was an absolute disgrace. There were 4 young females (aged between 18 - 21) behind the counter. They were all having a clear disagreement between them! This impacted on the service massively. The service was slow, 2 of my drinks were wrong, and the staff were rude, eye rolling etc when I pointed out the errors!! They were all too interested in the beef with each other. Starbucks get a grip!!!!

Great store , very clean and tidy and the staff are always happy and helpful . They always have a great selection of food and cakes available

I’m a frequent visitor of this store having also visited several other Starbucks locations and I can honestly say the store manager here has the Starbucks experience nailed. She runs a tight ship indeed- drinks are served swiftly and the staff are so polite and there is always someone clearing away tables. It’s a great atmosphere here with many returning customers on a daily basis (🙋🏼‍♀️). Too often folk take time to complain but never take time to acknowledge the good things. So here I am to say thanks to the Starbucks team in Water Lane for helping me start my days with a great coffee and for making each visit an enjoyable one. Keep doing what you’re doing x

I visited the Starbuck coffee before I did some shopping today. I was very surprised at the nice clean floors and quick service when I arrived. It's usually very busy and full of all sorts of different folk having their bite to eat. I notice that the tables were spotless and I was pleased to have a server come to me and take my plate away as soon as the last cake crumb was left. I like that efficiency of keeping the lid on the dirt that may accumulate during a busy period from this coffee shop. The decor was relatively nice with light pastel wall with coffee related picture hung on the wall. The furniture is clean and the area temperature was comfortable with the light jazz type music in the background. There is lots of sandwiches and of course a nice selection of your various coffee beverages. I like it here and would come again..

Parking is free; there are lots of tables, and this is a standard Starbucks. It's slightly above average and good to stop and chat and meet a friend.

Good Starbucks, quick service, staff good at remembering regular users. Friendly. Easy parking as attached to big supermarket.

As a regular user of Starbucks Water Lane I felt compelled to write a review due to there only being one, solitary, lonely one in place already. I am a regular, but not as regular as the long silver haired gentlemen that I’ve never actually seen leave the establishment, a cup for life possibly superglued to his right hand. There was also a regular who once spoke to an invisible dog but that’s another story and not connected to too many vente flat whites. I’m the one in the corner. Give me a gingerbread latte or a pumpkin spice. I tried “regular coffee” once but it was about as interesting as licking a daffodil. This through no fault of the staff. I just have a low boredom threshold when it comes to little roasted beans of palpitations. The establishment is always clean. With the exception, maybe, of a Saturday when the children throw brownies and flick muffins to create their entertainment (that’s the customers, not the staff). The coffee is always good. I don’t drink decaf as that’s about as useful as alcohol free beer, sugar free chocolate or Coke Zero. But the leaded stuff is made with care and the barristers...... beristas....... baresters...... baristas........ coffee makers know their stuff. The staff are all excellent, friendly and accommodating, even if I order a grande double shot caramel frappu mocha choco flat chino vente brownie with extra cream and caramel chunks, cinnamon and sauce. With a big straw, a spoon and a fork. The outside is cluttered with Sainsbury’s employees having a crafty smoke break, but hey, you can’t have everything. And you can eavesdrop the latest gossip about bread shortage, magnum ice cream politics and the pitfalls of a pretty revolting purple uniform. This review maybe silly but read through the daft stuff. It’s good. And I thank you for saving my life on regular occasions, before night shifts, after night shifts and when I’m feeling a bit decaffeinated.

Coffee here is Starbucks standard fare. The baristas were of poor standard; they made our coffee in our own cups fairly well, but made mistakes with a previous customer. The outside seating area was full of smokers. It would be good to have a no smoking area.
