Really poor quality food. Very disappointing as usually it’s very good. What little meat was in the curry was chewy. The chicken in the sweet and sour was very dry and chewy. The chicken in the satay dish was slimy. We threw more away than we ate. After calling to complain we were told that nothing was different to normal and there was nothing they could do. We will definitely not use Tasty House again.

Me and my family have been long time customers of Tasty House. It has become a part of our family tradition. Their food never disappoints. It is the best Chinese I have ever been to. Every dish is a 10/10 and it makes my day every time I visit. Their salt and pepper chicken and hot and sour soup are my particular favourites. I hugely recommend you visit.

We ordered up a takeaway home delivery for four adults and opted for Set Menu B & C with an extra order for Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls. The food arrived very promptly and was piping hot which is always a good sign. Most of the food was really good however the egg fried rice was very lumpy and not at all nice. Also the Stir Fried Mixed Vegetable dish looked and tasted like the vegetables had literally been boiled and NOT stir fried. In fact, we left 95% of that dish as no-one liked the taste at all. The other meals were very good, however the two people who wanted the Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef did not like that as they said it was so chewy and not crispy. Hence I really only felt I could give it a three out of five rating. Phoning up was quick efficient and friendly. No issues with delivery and just the quality of at least two of the dishes + rice spoiled it for us.

Thought we'd give them one last chance to deliver, wrong! Utterly unrealistic delivery estimates (2 hours to deliver), high prices and utterly incompetent staff. There HAS to be a better place in the Farnham area! This place has been gradually going downhill for the last few years and it would now appear they've hit rock bottom. The sad thing is the food is quite good

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews about this place. Every time I've been in the food has been delicious. I do only go for myself as the rest of my family don't eat Chinese but everything I've had from here has been great!

We had a home delivery meal which only took just over 30 minutes to arrive. The food was quite good but some parts of the meal were quite tasteless and bland. One item which arrived was a little bit cold so the microwave was used and this resolved the problem. We ordered up the 1/4 Crispy aromatic duck which usually is very good or even excellent but this one was definitely average. It certainly was not crispy and we had to throw quite a bit away for the fox as there was lots of extra skin wrinkled up on one edge which we wouldn't have eaten. Its a shame that this place is so hit or miss as people do like consistency with food quality and this place does have a tendency to fall short of that level.

We thought we would have a takeaway and opted for the Tasty House Farnham. They have a very efficient phone ordering process and a quick/prompt delivery service. We were both so looking forward to our 1/4 Crispy Aromatic Duck, Crispy Shredded Chicken in Chilli Sauce and Egg Fried Rice. Well I am afraid that the 1/4 Crispy Aromatic Duck must have been the least crispest Duck I have ever had. It was just so fatty and much was thrown away. The Crispy Shredded Chicken was literally so dry with just a threat of Chilli Sauce. The Egg Fried Rice was literally in one lump and we cut it in half and ate what we could. It was a real shame as in the past we have genuinely had terrific food from here. However, on this occasion much of our meal went in the bin or out for the Fox and we reluctantly opened up a tin of soup each instead. This experience has put us off using the Tasty House I am afraid to say.

My Chicken chow mein had very little flavour and looked dark, it hardly have any Beansprouts, and the rice was not very hot. Although the Beef, green pepper, black bean sauce was good.

Fancy getting cold food 3 hours after you’ve ordered? This is the place for you. Fancy getting shouted for daring to ask if you’re getting food after you’ve ordered it? Well let me introduce the sarcastically named “tasty house” The people are angry, delivery time is an absolute joke, food is AT BEST barley edible just avoid at all costs. With the advent of all the other delivery apps offering food from so many other places you just have to avoid this place, so many other places will politely supply you edible food in a reasonable time why would you want to wait 3 hours for horrible food and get threatened in Cantonese (that’s right I understood you) when you date ask why it’s so late. Probably the worst place to order from in town. Avoid avoid avoid.

Three of us decided to try a home delivery from Tasty House Farnham. I can only speak as we found and to be quite honest we had a good experience. Our food arrived piping hot which is always a good start. For our meals we only paid £21 which included delivery. We never asked for anything extra but as usual we were given a bag of prawn crackers for free. The service I had over the phone was very good and the meal arrived within the 45 minutes I had been told.

Should have known from the queue out of the door of the nearby chippy and being the only one in Tasty House! The hoisin sauce and spring onion/cucumber components of the Aromatic Crispy Duck weren't in the bag at all. The duck was pretty good though. The crispy seaweed was tough. The pork balls were fatty and chewy. There was plenty of food and a lot of it ended up in the bin - quantity over quality sadly. We won't be rushing back.

Just paid £30.00 on what tastes like reheated food. Feeling ripped of and disappointed. My husband rung tasty house just to receive excuses, rather than a genuine apology. Will not be using this takeaway again.

Over the years we have had many takeaways from Tasty House & been very pleased with our meals. However on Saturday our meal was very disappointing. Sweet and sour chicken was tough and parts inedible, the crispy seaweed was also tough and inedible and the noodles had a strange darkish brown tinge and left a bitter aftertaste. Will give them one more try in a couple of weeks and if it’s a repeat failure we won’t be ordering from there again.

As a regular customer of this establishment i phoned as usual to order a delivery and after they had taken my order i was informed that as they were busy they would be charging extra to deliver (i normally pay £4 00) my instant thought was WHY EXTRA if they are busy then they are already making money which is fine by me but the distance has not changed plus they were willing to come to me anyway so i cancelled the order and ordered an Indian delivery from a takeaway just 100 yards from this Chinese i actually live according to the AA route planner 4.3 miles/8minutes from both their premises the Indian DO NOT charge for this distance YEP YOU GOT IT THEY DO IT FOR FREE

What a rude welcome as we walked in to the restaurant, having attempted to call for a takeaway for 2 hours! The lady in charge just shrugged and said it would take 2 hours before they could deliver. Distinctly disinterested in whether we placed an order or not. What a shame as we were so looking forward to trying the Duck pancakes.

Shocking customer service, and definitely not considering COVID restrictions (8 customers in at the same time !!) - good food, although mood was dampened due to poor customer service upon collection (rude and demanding)

This restaurant provides very tasty classic dishes and having moved to the area 2 years ago is the best chinese food that I have tasted locally. The delivery time is prompt and efficient.

Food ordered, given a delivery time of an 1hr15min/ hr and half, fiancé is type one diabetic so has to inject roughly 15 mins before food, so we have that to work out, when it hit the two hr mark we phoned, and this isn’t the first time it’s been very late this seems to be a consistent trend with the tasty house, and the same as there customers service skills, never an apology but the food when it arrives is normally still hot so we can deal with that. However on this occasion the food was cold and I mean cold, inedible! So I called and ask them for a refund, after around 5/10 minutes of the staff shouting and arguing in the background hardly acknowledging me on the phone I was told they can’t refund on their card machine, so I asked them to stop the collection of the payment, I was told no they can’t so I told them I will be down to collect the cash and I will certainly no longer be using them. If I’m honest the food isn’t anything special at all it was more convenient for us as they deliver, but I can assure you there are much, much better takeaways around the area If you don’t mind driving to collect, I really don’t understand why this place is so busy? I can only surmise it is for the same reasons we went there. We were warned by lots of people not to use this place and the main complaint isn’t service etc it’s actually reports of becoming very ill after eating from here. But I think you should make your own mind up and give these places a try, we did a hand full of times and we can honestly say we haven’t had the best experience with them and won’t be using them again.

Special occasion tonight, so we opted for take away... great idea..the tasty house was highly recommended.We had a set meal for 4, £68.. so pretty steep.Prawn toast and satay chicken was good... everything else was awful, dreadful. We threw almost 80% of it away.I always look for something good im a review... this could be the first time i cant find anything..Worst chinese meal i have had ever.. save your money and get a motorway stale sandwich, it will be better.

Cannot fault this place! the price , the food, the time from ordering to takeaway! We often ordered from this place when we lived near Farnham! SO sad we moved and haven't found a place as good as this since! Thanks Tase House for great takeaways! Def worth a trip!

Lovely PLACE/LOCATION, nice and quiet location. Helps you get away from hectic life. Clean place which is always a good thing to see in a resturant. I used to work in fast food place a while back aswell.STAFFS were friendly, lovely actually. Got to order food and was informed on price before taking the payment thank you. There was a bit of wait time but very understandable as it was Friday afternoon. Was advised about wait time before taking payment which shows they cared about customer service and our time, unlike most big chain resturant. Was adivsed and updated as order went along. FOOD was amazing would be back for more. Chicken with pineapple was something new to me, loved the taste with rich creamy pineapple taste. Sweet and sour chicken was on point, can't find many of them that good here in Aldershot. Egg fried rice was great. Duck Chowmein was good, only thing is I am not fan of skin on food/meat but i can see someone who likes skin enjoying it :D.OVERALL definately worth travelling and wait time as you can tell effort was put into the dishes. Will be back for more.PS. I dropped a portion of rice off my table was small AT HOME, i wanted to cry. :'(

We tried all the Chinese take aways in Farnham when we moved here recently and this is def the best local to us (near station) Great food and good value

£15 min order as of tonight! ? I have been using these guys until now for 10 years. Tonight they refused to take my order in person on a debit card for less than £15. ( my order was going to be £13) I walked out in disgust. I spend ( well rather did) over £100 a month here every year. No longer! time to move back to Bon East who are polite and appreciate the business. Last delivery also took over an hour and cold. I suggest you avoid! They need to readdress customer service, it’s a take away!!

Now I know this place doesn’t have the best Tripadvisor rating in Farnham and this may put some people off trying it. What I will say is we have had numerous takeaways from here on a home delivery basis for many years, and to be honest they have been very good or excellent. We do tend to stick to the same order each time we have meals from here. Tonight we ordered up another set of meals and the food was piping hot when it arrived and we were all delighted with the quality and quantity and would rate it as very good. The service I have always found to be very quick and efficient. If anything the time they give you of 45min - 60min is always spot on or earlier. Having said all that and having read some positive and negative reviews, I felt I should really put another good one forward to show my appreciation of our meal tonight. Thank You.

Popped in as I was passing, despite not intending to get a takeaway. The food was nice, prawn toasts were the best I've had, chicken chow mien was lovely although the chicken was a bit dry, chicken satay skewers were lovely too but more sauce needed, however pleased overall. I got in there at 5 ish and waited 15 minutes for my meal which I was happy about, the only thing I would say about the service was that the girl taking my order kept not listening, she was talking to a woman (I got the impression her mother) and the woman was interrupting and talking to her, so I had to repeat myself 3 or 4 times so I felt like my business was a slight hinderance to their conversation. I ultimately went in for food though which I was happy with, I can overlook the slightly rude customer service...as it's not a restaurant.

Ordered take away from here, it was ready within 15-20 minutes, very quick. Good food, would buy again from here!

Had a chinese take away last week. Ordered for collection and food was ready when we arrived. Food a good price and very tasty.

Stunningly awful in every respect! I called say how dissatisfied I was and was met with “it’s the same for all customers” !!! I gave an opportunity to offer me a refund that they weren’t remotely interested in. Be warned. Crap food. Crap customer orientation. Crap Crap Crap

Phoned a delivery order which we gave a postcode for. 5 miles away you would think it was in Outer Mongolia. Phoned at 7 pm and was told it would be delivered 9.15. We phoned at 9.30?and told it was in transit. After several phone calls of which owner weren’t really bothered just saying can’t find it. Delivery man finally knocked door 10.15 which food would be quality of Iceland. Rudest response I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favour and give it a miss. This is the first bad review I’ve ever written. Hopefully locals must pick it up. Don’t say fast food delivery service if you can’t deliver. WORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD. I had to tap one star as wouldn’t let me do none. Doesn’t deserve 1 star. Disgusting !!!!!

Good quality at very reasonable prices. The recent owners of this take away restaurant have improved the quality a lot. Parking can be an issue.

New Take-always can be a bit of a lottery and when we called when the restaurant had just opened, and were told it would an hour for delivery, wondered if it would be worth it. Arrived bang on time, still warm. The portions were good, the duck and pineapple was delicious as was the chilli shredded beef. The ribs were very good value, and were much enjoyed by our granddaughter- this was her first introduction to chInese food and she loved it. The other sides of rice and plain noodles fine. Have promised to take her to the restaurant on her birthday - so she can experience more dishes.

Large portions for a great price! Freshly cooked and fats delivery so the foods still warm when it gets to your door! Highly recommend for a Friday night treat!

We have had takeaway meals from here at least twice a month for years. I have written a positive review in the past but thought I would do so again. My sister-in-law was so scathing over this place recently to us that I was really shocked. We have had consistent good quality meals from here over and over again. We always request home delivery and it always seems to come 45 minutes after the order has been placed. This weekend we had 6 people at home and decided on The Tasty House. Our menu was varied and quite a challenge I felt. Well it all arrived piping hot and we sat down for a banquet of Chinese Food which was superb. Not one item was left and we all collapsed outside totally fat and full. I cannot sing this takeaway's praises any higher than I do. But the sheer fact we go back over and over again says something about the quality, service and punctuality of the delivery. Thank you.

We have used the tasty house at Farnham for many years from when David Lee owned it. The people who run it now are very efficient and to be very honest we have had about twenty meals from them this year alone. Not one meal has been delivered cold, and all food has always gone down very well with our family. I have read reviews which have really been very scathing of this takeaway but I can say that we have not experience any of the problems those reviews have highlighted. We will continue to use this place and as far as I am concerned this is the best Chinese takeaway in the Farnham area. I would say that on some occasions we have had to wait for our delivery from 45 minutes to over 1.5 hours once so when it arrives piping hot I really cant complain. If its that busy that it can take that long sometimes then it must be doing something right with many customers.

I have eaten at The Tasty House since I was a little girl and my parents use to order from there. It has and always will be in my eyes the best Chinese around!!!!

I got a take away on Saturday night, the food tasted ok but I was left with a very dodgy stomach on Saturday night, talking to friends on Sunday, they have all reported hainvng similar problems from the same place, Best avoided!!!

Teléfonos a la orden y me dijeron que sería un máximo de una hora (Vivo a 15 minutos de allí). 90 minutos más tarde llamé para que me dijeran la entrega había dejado hace una media hora y estaría conmigo en breve. Tomó otra 35 minutos para mi comida para llegar, pero crédito al conductor de la entrega fue muy amable. Sin embargo, la comida fuimos en la papelera (en su mayoría). El primer plato era bastante bueno. Los fideos Singapur había terrones de polvo en ellos, el huevo frito arroz estaba frío y pegajoso y las bolas dulce y agria eran pasada. No molesten de nuevo

Haven't been here in a long time, well since Dave left. But we were pleasantly surprised, the food was still as good and they still serve the same bbq sauce on the ribs which is scrummy.

As the title says this is a great place to buy take away the food is really the best whilst a touch expensive it's worth it. I don't believe you will be anything but delighted with your choice.

Just started 2016 with a takeaway. The phone was busy to get through but it was worth it. The order was efficiently taken, timing on collection spot on the helpings are more than plentiful. Good food and a varied menu to select from, will be ordering again.

What it lacks in taste it certainly doesn't make up for elsewhere. Average Chinese not very tasty or exciting. Got the order wrong and had the cheek to say it was because we hadn't specified. I think if you order a specific meal off the menu you expect exactly that but clearly I was wrong! Customer is never right in their eyes!

ordered take out here whilst staying at a local hotel. parking was easy. it was very busy. staff were polite and the food was ready with in 20 min. food was well cooked and teatsed great

Being coming here for some years now and food is consistent but consistently average. Menu never changes nor does menu feels as if it needs a fresh new start and new chef for sure!!

It's not great but it's fills a hole so is doing one of its jobs. Quite dated design and layout, in need of refurbishment and perhaps a new chef

First time & last time using this take away. We have a go to Chinese that we always use but fancied a change. Sweet & sour chicken balls, chicken curry , Singapore fried rice . Chicken was awful , I don't know how it's cooked here but it tasted horrible, the rice dish wasn't good either. Will stick to our normal Chinese takeaway.

I've been using this takeaway for years, you're in a safe pair of hands here. A few years ago I think it came under new ownership, and there has been a noticeable change in the food, but it is still good.

Tasty House has been a local Chinese for years. It always serves great simple Chinese takeaway appealing to a more local taste. The people that work in there are always friendly and everything is always super quick!

We ordered a delivery last night. Food arrived quicker than expected, and was very good! The chicken and cashews in yellow bean was lovely (not the thick brown sauce that others do), salt and pepper chips were a bit soggy tho they were very nice. No issues with the egg fried rice, it was spot-on. You only get 4 mini spring rolls - but they are more a medium sized spring roll, and were also yummy. The hong kong syle king prawns in sweet and sour was delicious. All in all a very good meal that satisfied two people for £20 and barely any washing up - result!

A great Chinese to pick up a chow mein in five minutes. Everything you would expect on the menu and indeed 'tasty'. One warning, they take cash only.

This is a solid Chinese takeaway that does decent food at a reasonable price. A good range of dishes. The menu could be written on a quarter of the space as basically each style is available in pork, beef, prawn or chicken for exactly the same price! They started doing delivery last year but it costs a quid or 2 extra and the minimum order price is £15. That's my one gripe, lower the minimum order or ditch the delivery charge.

I always order Special Fried rice when I go for a Chinese takeaway - The Tasty House never disappoints - the food is excellent and importantly not dry or bland. If I don't order Special Fried Rice then I'm bound to order Curried King Prawns which are indeed delicious !!!

I'm not sure who the other reviews come from?We got a take-away from the Tasty House some 5 years ago and it was awful. However, we recently heard that it had changed hands and under new management was far better. So we gave this another go in the hope that at last Farnham would have a quality Chinese take-away. Having arrived to collect the food we discovered nobody on front of house with much jabbering out the back regardless of customers waiting but ignored.Crispy Pork maybe was crispy before they drowned it in a gloopy, sugary reservoir with onion overdose. The result was soggy, chewy pieces of meat in a lake of treacle. Salt and pepper spicy ribs were about an inch long each and the singapore chow mein was indeed spicy but lacked any real taste.Regrettably, it seems nothing has changed here so we won't not bother with the Tasty House again unless something really DOES change.

We have had dozens of takeaways from the tasty house and we have not been disappointed yet. They do a free home delivery if you spend more than £15.00. Excellent value and service. If you drive there to collect your food parking can be a little awkward but you should find somewhere to abandon the car.
