The best restaurants in Tunbridge Wells South East

The service is unbelievable slow, I went in for a drink while I waited for a bus, 6 people Infront of me, 1 of which walked out after 15 minutes, 25 minutes I was in there, for a drink. A few days later I went in for a sausage roll, again a handful of people waiting, almost 20 minutes, same lad who just wanders off at random moments. And today, 25 minutes for a breakfast roll. Maybe 5 people in front of me. Not Huge orders, maybe 2 items and a drink. Awful service and it seems it's like that regardless of who is allegedly working. I'm done with that branch. Probably Greggs in general. It's not as if it's anything special, salty pastries, awful coffee.

Assez cher et qualité moyenne. Le burger est basique et le steak un peu fermé même saignant. Le service est cependant agréable.

Partner and I had a fantastic experience. Food was delivered quickly and still hot which is so important for me as I like my food fresh and piping. They also gave us extra ice cream at no extra charge which was very generous of them! My only gripe is it can be a bit squeezy in there during busy periods.

On the 25th I placed an order for three pizzas, order number 626391775. I only received two. The driver promised I will have a replacement that never happened. I called the shop and they said they will send me a replacement that I never got, motivating that they couldn't find me. After I have been promised a refund that never happened. I went on the Dominos web site and raised a complaint but no one answered. I am very intrigued, if I go out from the shop without paying it is called theft but if you took my money without providing the goods how this is called like?

Absolutely disgusting bought a cheese and onion slice but it wasn't it was sausage and bean slices and they didn't care in shop or customer service

Pretty standard Mexican fare but overall pretty good. Menu was as you would expect, food quality was good and decent portinos. Service friendly. Good value.

It's OK for a cup of coffee (which is up to the usual good Costa standard) and a snack but don't expect quick service because, every time I've been, it has been very busy. There is a facility for pre-ordering but I don't know if it makes it any quicker because I've never tried it. There are some tables and seating, but not a lot.

I come here regularly with friends and our young children. Tasty, well priced meals. The kids meal deal is especially good. You can choose a sandwich or mini pizza, crisps, a piece of fruit and a drink. They have crayons and pages to colour too.

Spent £59 on takeaway. Wasn't awful, just bland. Not a cheap place, so very disappointed overall. Owner apologised for late delivery (which seems standard here now) and offered a large bottle of soft drink and some tiny samosas to compensate. Crispy chilli beef had little sauce, Kung po was swimming in sauce. Both tasted the same. Noodles were grim but rice was good. Overall seems Happy Days care more about profit, than an enjoyable customer experience

My son has worked here for trial shift, Absolutely appalling work conditions, The Team leader that was meant to train my son, LEFT and left my son with team members that not meant to train him, food preparation in tacobell is Disgusting, manager is never at this branch. Also, when signing forms for entering the job, the team leader was on his phone the whole time. Clearly, the tacobell company doesn't care about professionalism, My son left after the trial shift and never gone back.

Service was slow, breakfast arrived cold and we had to send it back. Although staff were pleasant, service was really slow. No spoon or serviette offered. Waited so long we had to order another drink. M & S has certainly gone down hill👎🏻

Ordered on Just Eat at around 8:15, order did not turn up until 10PM. Food was stone cold, the order wasn’t even correct. £30 worth of food ruined, would avoid at all costs

We queued a while but the food was plentiful and flavourful. The prices are ok. There is plenty of parking here and the location is great.

We have ordered from here on a few occasions purely because it does some decent vegetarian dishes. On each an every occasion the order always takes some time to arrive. This evening we made an order at about 6:20pm, which was set to arrive between 6:45-7:15pm. On ringing up at 7:25pm to find out where our order way, we were advised it was on its way with the driver who had left 20 minutes before. Concerned the food would be well and truly cold by now I asked when it would arrive. Long and short of it, staff were rude, unhelpful and cancelled the order for no reason before saying we could get a refund through just eat. No explanation as to why the order was cancelled other than being repeatedly told they were “too busy”. On asking to speak to the manager (who could be shouting “cancel order” in the background) the staff member refused before hanging up on me for a second time. I would avoid this Chinese at all costs. Staff are rude, ordered delayed, cancelled and if they do arrive, are rarely complete with everything you ordered.

A very good cafe in a country store. Excellent cafe food and service. Quite a hidden gem and inexpensive too.
