Absolutely disgusting bought a cheese and onion slice but it wasn't it was sausage and bean slices and they didn't care in shop or customer service

Placed our order. Waited fifteen minutes for our drinks, whilst later orders were served. Challenged staff. "Are you sure you ordered?". Showed receipt. No order was placed? No no drinks, full refund. Never knew staff incompetence could be the customer's fault.

This is a very good place to drop into on the A21 from London to Hastings. There is a good choice of snacks and drinks and good parking. Even though Covid rules have been relaxed, there's still a request to wear masks and social distance. Better than your usual standard of road services.

As roadside services go, this one is above average. There's plenty of parking and it's Covid safe. The path to the entrance is marked for siocial distancing (so is the interior) and there's even a traffic light system operating to ensure that the interior does not get too full. Once inside, the service is quick and efficient. I only called in for a coffee but a tasty cup of coffee it was.

As service stops go, this one is above average. There's plenty of parking available. There's a good selection of snacks and it's Covid safe. There's a traffic light system on the entrance - only enter when the green light comes on and a one-way system is marked. Hand sanitiser is available and masks must be worn.

Your staff member Mollie needs to recognise customers have choice and will not tolerate rudeness and the lack of common courtesy. I did not take too well to being barked at by her in an aggressive manner nor facing demands of “what do you want” after I had been visibly waiting to be served patiently at the counter for time and, when taking my order and money, I would appreciate a please and thank you rather than I’ll concealed concept. I was treated this way without uttering a word beforehand nor making the slightest complaint.

The staff that we were served by were lovely and deserve to be told that. As for the food and the experience, I haven’t been for years and the new branding just doesn’t work for us. The food is basic, no presentation in the dishes we had and the restaurant was quite dirty. The food was nice what we had tho and I would go back to try again if we were passing. Thanks to our server, I would mention her but she didn’t leave a name on our receipt (:
