KFC in Tunbridge Wells

Excellent service from one young member of staff, when I asked for deals on chicken only… this person helped out by signing me into an app - allowing me a great deal on my food. I don’t have a name on this staff member, as no name badge- but cap with lots of badges on & nose piercing is best description I can make. Didn’t have to wait long for food either

This KFC has been terrible for years and never seems to improve. You are encouraged to use the kiosk to order which we did. After 10 minutes of waiting staff behind the counter decided to announce that orders were taking an hour to be fulfilled. Lucky for us our order was ready in 50 minutes but at least a couple of other people left without collecting their food. Unfortunately the Zinger burger was dry and a little burnt. Avoid this branch of KFC at all costs or go to the McDonalds next door which is always great.

Ok had to pop out with kids for food. They wanted KFC. Now the service here is normally quick so that works. They keep the place relatively clean for a busy restaurant . My criticism is aimed at the size of the portions. McDonald's generally give a large portion of chips if you order food. I attach the adult portion of chips is received after paying for an adult box menu meal of £6.50 as I recall . My kids laughed as they said they had more chips in the kids portion than the adults. Felt ripped of and feel they are out of touch and they need t give people decent portions of chips especially for what you are paying . It it poor management from my perspective

Someone in front in the long queue drove back to collect forgotton paid for items. Got back with takeaway with two items missing. Happened before. This restaurant is crap, a joke. Avoid.

On the door it said open from 11am to 11pm. I arrived at 11.30 am and it was still locked up. I had a Big Mac instead but I wanted a Zinger. After eating my big mac I passed KFC again to find it open!! Not happy!!

Unprofessional always missing some of the item in the order. Avoid this branch Not recommend to anyone

Was missing our popcorn chicken and large chips. No recipe given as they ran out of paper! Hungry angry and out of pocket!

Really really bad, collecting take-out, no staff member at door, significantly over the recommended number of costumers just walked in, without any staff member monitoring safety. Bad. Will never return. This review will fall on deaf ears though.

Appalling service except by the young girl Meg clearing tables Staff unfriendly to the point of rude We made an error on the order boards but staff didnt want to resolve this at all Food was hot and fresh But manners made a whole difference i will never use this store again Training in customer services def needed here

Good place to eat. Has heavy use and sometimes big queue’s but they go down quick and slow depending on order size or group. We were never given napkins nor hand cleaners, maybe we should have worked that out. We eventually found them. The ice cream machine was broken so after the meal we went to McDonald’s next door for ice cream. The chicken was good and the food was fine. I used the app to get points and that worked ok. Lots of parking here and other fast food places nearby. Pretty clean and bins not too full.

Stopped off here for some lunch while in the area, long queues so service really slow which puts people off, always waiting for food to cook which is strange at busy times, food good once recieved but tend to find food is more greasy when just cooked rather than when its sitting in the cabinets

Went to kfc on Thursday evening to have a meal there was a que and only one bloke serving and he looked like he had the hump when we got service he was leaning over the till never gave me a reciept he was rubbing his nose aswell.. we sat down there was tables with trays on and the floor was dirty.. the chicken wasn’t cooked probably I would of had a moan but when u looked u there was no one at counter they was shouting talking near the cook bit I think all of them should have hats on and hairs in a net I might not go back u may loose customers now as it needs something done the bin was full aswell

Popped in for some lunch during Christmas shopping jaunt. Two of us were a bit Hank Marvin so went for the Big Daddy box meal. My burger was okay although seemed slightly dry as if it had been prepared a while ago and been sitting in the hot cabinet. The other person's burger was good though. The fries seemed to be quite different from the normal KFC fries - thry were fatter and were more like chips with a bit of skin on too. This was a good thing - all 3 of us enjoyed them. Not sure if this was a one off from supplier problems etc but it was a good change. The sides we had of gravy and beans were good. Consistent and good as usual. Also included with the Big Daddy box meal is a portion of chicken. This was absolutely dripping in oil. The coating was glistening with oil, and therefore soggy. We grabbed a load of napkins and wrapped the chicken in several and squeezed the chicken lots to try and get as much of the oil off as possible. In the end, I peeled all the coating off as sodden with oil. The grease was horrible. The service was good - pretty pleasant staff. The member of staff forgot our sides but swiftly gave them to us when I mentioned it so I dont see that as a negative. They just need to sort the chicken portions out. So greasy that if you pick one up by hand, you will have to visit the toilets to wash your hands.

I used to come to this KFC a lot, but my disappointment grew bigger and bigger with every visit, and now I only comes in when the queue in McDonalds is too long. I don't like leaving bad reviews because I work in retail and I know it's unfair. Unhappy people are louder than happy customers. The issues I've encountered, just to name a few: -Dirty tables and floor. -Staff untrained in the KFC app, having to cancel and repeat my order because they don't know when to scan a deal barcode -Restaurant so understaffed that the queue goes out the door, and only 2 tills open. -Staff don't know the difference between dark meat and white meat. Fix these things and I'll be more than happy to go back.

Shocking, staff were swearing between each other and towards us. Got told it was 20minutes for chicken but they had stacks of chicken on the heater? When I questioned the time I got told “yeah I know it’s bollocks”. The chips were cold, and we had to ask for sauce and salt twice straight after he had asked us. I honestly don’t think they could run a bath between them. Moaning because they had cleaned the floor before closing time and “it’s a four step routine”?.. If your hungry or even want an average meal I really wouldn’t go here.

Nice food. Dirty seating and floor with chips and beans all over the table, seats and floors. Took 40 minutes for anything to get cleaned properly and staff forgot half our food.

This kfc use to be awful for eating in as use to have lack of seats but has recently been refurbished & seating area has got larger, toilets are better too!
