Well after reading all the reviews we were really looking forward to it . Had the lasagne with garlic bread nice to have garlic bread that tasted of garlic but baguette needed more cooking . The lasagne was not great at all very mushy . Now the cottage pie well the dish was not hot sadly food was Luke warm at best the dish lacked flavour and taste , a bare minimum amount of cheese the sauce definitely not a gravy was thin and greasy plus the volume of frozen veg in the mince made the peas and sweetcorn pot superfluous to the dish . The dishes holding the food were hot sadly the food was not

On our way for a short stay in Ramsgate, we were pleasantly surprised when we stopped here for lunch. It was a Monday lunchtime and the pub was quite busy. Friendly and prompt service at the bar. Monday is pie day so for £12 I had a choice of pie with fresh vegetables and chips. Pudding was included. Chicken and ham pie was delicious. Cheesecake offered with cream or ice-cream. Really generous portions of everything. The beer was very good too.

First room was near the main ac plant which was noisy all night with a background hum, then a very poor breakfast and a change of rooms which was better but had a bit of a smell. Disappointing stay, as other Premier Inns have been great.

A Sunday roast. My beef was well done, although I'd requested medium. The rest of the food was fine, good portions and tasty. The staff are very friendly and resolved the issue with the roast beef. Slight mark down on the atmosphere, as it wasn't very busy, so there was not much of an atmosphere, really. However, overall, very satisfied. We would return.

Sunday dinner with the family . Warm welcome, very busy but they coped well . Sunday roasts were lovely , plenty of meat , roasties in a bowl . We ordered pigs in their blankets as an extra well worth it . Prices were very reasonable , will return.

After recently meeting Pat & the team at the New Stage, we booked to go back to try their Sunday roast, and it did not disappoint. The meal was classic comfort food, offering generous portions of tender roast beef & lamp with a crispy Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes. The vegetables were fresh and well-seasoned. What really stood out was the rich, flavourful gravy that tied everything together. The relaxed atmosphere of the pub added to the experience, making it a great spot for a traditional Sunday lunch.

After visiting the attached (free) Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum, we decided to have some lunch. It was very busy and, although we were warned that we would have to wait for our food, it wasn't as long as the friendly, helpful, chatty staff said it would be. There's a good choice on the menu of good, comforting food. The portion sizes were more than ample and excellent value for money. If you're visiting the museum can certainly recommend the Spitfire Cafe for food and drinks.

My partner and I have found the BEST burgers in Kent. A few months ago we drove to Rascal Bay in Manston to play mini golf. We hadn't planned to have lunch beforehand, but boy are we glad we did!!! The burgers were so damn good, that this past Saturday, we literally drove from Folkestone to Manston, just to eat burgers at 'The Tenth Cafe and Bar'. It's super casual, with indoor and outdoor seating. You order your meal at the window and when your buzzer goes off, you collect your meal and pick a spot to enjoy the not delicious, tasty burger. The portion of fries is really generous too! I enjoyed the 'Black and Blue' burger: For all you blue cheese fans like me, this burger is quite simply, TO DIE FOR!!! (see photo of menu attached for detail). My partner enjoyed their new Bacon and Cheese burger with fries and said it was outstanding! Nicola, who is the lovely Soul who expertly prepares and cooks these fabulous meals is friendly, efficient, kind and is wonderful to have a quick chat with, when she isn't busy cooking up a storm! We are more than happy to drive the hour each way, knowing we will be able to enjoy an outstandingly tasty and exceptionally, reasonably priced burger!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
