Husband and I have just had Sunday Carvery at Table Table Minster, Ramsgate, Kent. Beautiful beef, with Yorkshire puddings, tender meat and tasty trimmings. Wonderful crispy roast parsnips and potatoes and hot vegetables. Lovely staff created a really friendly atmosphere. Warm welcome. Looking forward to the next visit.

We had the Sunday carvery. It looked lovely, but everything was cold apart from the gravy. I think others must have found the same thing, as another table sent theirs back I'm assumed to be heated up. The puddings were really nice, and we were served by a nice lady, just shame about the food.

Lovely surroundings in the restaurant, a good reasonably priced menu. The service was excellent, our waitress Chloe, was cheerful and attentive, making sure we were happy with our meals, which we were. Great main course , scrumptious puddings. All round a great experience. Highly recommended.

First time visiting this venue, on arriving it was very welcoming and the restaurant looked nice. We ordered our food and some of the menu was not available as apparently the fryer was broken. I had to choose something I didn't really fancy at the time as I don't eat meat, the choice was either scampi or a burger or veggie curry. I was disappointed admittedly. The starter came with our drinks it was really nice, we had soup and mushrooms. Then waited 45 minutes for the main. When it finally arrived it looked pretty shabby, 10 chips if that, 5 pieces of shrivelled scampi and a dollop of stone cold mushy peas, it looked like yesterday's dinner left on a plate. I asked for salad that arrived 10 minutes after the main arrived it was pretty horrible and covered in wet sweetcorn. We asked for more drinks and condiments we got nothing! I asked another member of staff and they brought steak sauce, and ketchup, we didnt ask for that, somehow our request was not translated..our dinner was finished so it was not really helpful. I was really disappointed as its alot of money to waste on really poor quality main course and not getting good service from some members of staff. I did not complain as I had a tough day and did not want any more challenges. I appreciate the fryer was broken but dont dish up poor quality main meals as we encountered. It's just unacceptable. It looked horrible and tasted horrible and it was Stone cold. Ultimately we came for a nice pub style meal and didnt get that experience. On a positive note some staff were pleasant and helpful and the restaurant was comfortable.

Warning:Long review ahead,but I feel it's warrented...My hubby and I really enjoyed our supper here this evening. Service was top notch. James greeted us with a smile as we walked in and even asked if we had any food allergies before seating is at a table. Coming from the hospitality industry myself as somebody who trained staff in a 5 star delux hotel abroad, this stood out to me greatly. I have never been asked about my food allergies at a restaurant before, and I'm talking 4 and 5 star hotel restaurants as well. I am always the one that has to ask staff members about certain foods containing nuts. My husband has a citrus allergy and James went out of his way to bring us the allergy menu so that we could have a look at every meal and see which ones contained any of our allergens. This was absolutely freaking fantastic! After ordering our meals the chef sent James to our table to let us know that our burger patties are grilled on the same grill as the pineapple & the chef was worried about my husband's citrus allergy.I mean WOW! 5 star service and attention to detail is not something we were expecting and yet that's what I believe we received. It is attention to these small details which really elevates a customers experience. The restaurant was very busy & it seemed a bit short staffed, however even while waiting a bit after mains to order dessert, we could see that the all staff on the floor were being friendly and courteous to all their customers, which was great to observe. When someone asked for something it was done as fast as the staff could possibly get around to doing in, in between cleaning all the tables and greeting/seating new customers. We didn't mind waiting because the staffs efficiency & friendliness created a lovely atmosphere. Chloe also served us and she was lovely. She was professional, polite and accommodating to our requests which I have to commend, because it could have been so easy for her to lose her cool under the pressure of her crazy busy shift but she didn't. She remained composed and served us with a smile. The food was great and the pudding was delicious. We forgot to take pics, sorry guys! Definitely give their baked banofee cheesecake a try, you won't regret it. Overall we had a great evening. Thank you James, Chloe and to the chef(sorry we don't know your name), for an excellent service experience. I also want to thank the other kitchen and bar staff because running a restaurant takes a full team approach and without the one part of the team the other cannot function. You all did and do an amazing job under so much pressure! You can all be proud of yourselves!

Great staff nice atmosphere , not to expensive , kids enjoyed their meal and desserts could benefit from having more to choose for the little ones , overall a good stay

Great for early morning buffet breakfast even if you're not staying in the hotel. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and the buffet food is always fresh and constantly re-filled.

Pleasant welcome from the waiting staff and shown to our table on a quiet Friday evening. We ordered our mains and they arrived swiftly and tasty. My better half had a sticky toffee pudding which was ok. With a few rounds of drinks it was a nice Friday supper after a long drive.

It was a birthday treat with my family . I ordered a medium steak ..it was cremated. I bought it to the attention of the waitress who said it was the chefs first day on her own so bear with it ? Not what a paying customer wants to hear . I then got a new steak that was also cremated and all of my previous accompanyments had gone . At this point the server asked me if it was OK and I said no but don't worry I will eat it . I again got asked to excuse the poor cooking due to the fact the chef was on their own . I paid and left but will never go back . Other meals were below average

It's OK. Medium temp food. You get what you pay for. Experience was saved by a very personable waitress.

We were the first in it was very quiet yet the food took 45mins, when the food arrived the kids burger was missing the tomato and was extremely dry, pie and mash was okay the gravy was like water, very over priced for what you get, the waitresses were very nice and did a good job. The toilets were absolutely vile, 2 out 3 cubicles needed some serious attention, was enough to put you off your food. Not a great experience.

Food and service very good, we enjoyed our Sunday Roast. We have visited on many occasions and it's always been a of a good standard. We would recommend a visit.

I enjoyed the Smugglers Retreat Breakfast and came back during my holiday for the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The food was great and James, behind the bar, was welcoming and friendly.

Visited on Boxing Day for 3 course meal. 10 adults and 2 children. The carvery was absolutely disgusting, cold, undercooked, frozen potatoes, was offered a bottle of Prosecco as ‘compensation’, turned it down and was eventually after much complaining given a 25% discount. Will never go there again.

Failed to honour our booking -- we booked for the main menu for somebody's birthday, but they were only serving the festive menu. While I appreciate that it was 24 December, they shouldn't be advertising a menu which they don't intend to serve. Recommend phoning to confirm your booking on the day to avoid surprises.

Just had a horrible burnt meal ,wine warm and complained and they didn't seem bothered wasn't cheap wasn't even busy so no excuse apparently we weren't table service ........ not one bit impressed won't be back or recommending disgusted !!! Response disgraceful !!! Shame on ye !!! 4 or 5 staff floating and no one clearing tables either shocking!!!

Buffet breakfast, self service, eat what you want.

Booked for a family lunch, on first impressions, it seemed like a good choice, very warm welcome from the staff, the place looked nice, food was OK typical Table Table but I have to add that the seats around our table were filthy and in need of a good clean as did the floor, one of the toilets in the ladies was full of paper and poo reason being the flusher was broken so really this toilet should have been locked and out of use.

Was very surprised that we managed to get a booking so close to Christmas, food was very nice and the waitress was nice and pleasant also.

Food was wonderful but the service was very slow despite the fact the restaurant was not particularly busy.

Made a booking just on the edge of the restaurant becoming busy, the food was good the waitress was polite and attentive.

Had the festive menu, it was very poor presentation, starter arrived with 5 macaroni bites on a plate, no garnish, main meal wasn’t much better, asked for gravy, when it was brought to me, it had a thick layer if orange oil on top. Absolutely disgusting. I was over charged in my bill for 2 desserts by £10. I did get a refund after I’d queried it after paying. I will never go back there again and wouldn’t recommend it.

Was staying in the hotel but was told we couldn't eat because they had a Christmas party in. So went to McDonalds instead later that evening we notice the Christmas party was for just 15 people and there was plenty of other tables that could of fitted 2 people. Found the girl quite rude. Also breakfast in the morning is not a buffet and you could be waiting 30 mins to get a cooked breakfast one of out guest waited 43 minutes.

A 2 day trip to Ramsgate and stopped at the smugglers inn for dinner. The reception and service we received from Kerry was second to none and the general banter we had as we ordered and received our meals, made it a lovely experience. Thank you Kerry

The only comment I would state. Is double check your BILL. NOT THAT THE STAFF ARE DISHONEST, but errors do occur.

A good value for money restaurant, not the best but not the worst. Food can be hit and miss sometimes, however, saying that the Sunday carvery is very good. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming

Whilst we were able to have Unlimited breakfast, which we had to order as table service, there were no croissants or pastries. So paid £9.99 for a cooked breakfast. Sausages were tiny, a small spoonful of beans, 2 small mushrooms quartered, really not worth the money.

Good food excellent service. Restaurant was extremely busy on my arrival. I was served by Kerri who was very attentive when serving me. Considering how busy the area she was working in she was engaging with all customers in the same manner. Food was good value and will return during my stay here.

Popped in for breakfast with 2 adults and 3 children. Food was replenished regularly on the buffet and my children especially enjoyed the pancakes. Value for money is phenomenal, it would have cost us more to cook the food at home!

Left waiting at door and then half an hour after order taken we were told when we asked when food was coming there was a table of 8 ordered before us, not really a response to be given, as it was between 4 and 5pm so not busy, was a bit taken aback at such a response. We will be returning in January and a few other dates so hoping it will be better next time.

I took my wife to Table Table in Minster for a Sunday lunch. Despite the restaurant being busy, Lauren took the time to check through gluten-free meals. Excellent service, good food and presentation was our experience.

We were staying at the adjacent Premier Inn and had booked a meal package where you get a 2 course dinner and a breakfast for £25 per person. Upon arrival I overheard a member of staff saying that they were only going to serve people who had a meal package because they were running out of food - considering it was only 8pm on a Friday, I thought this was odd. The menu itself is fine IF you are a meat eater, and do not have any food allergies! I have to follow a Gluten Free diet and was given a really small menu with very limited choices, and as I am also a Vegetarian - this left me with one option, which I was then told wasn't available. (Two other dishes our group ordered also weren't available.) The staff were very embarrassed and apologetic, they scoured the ingredients list to see if they could offer any alternative but the only option for me was a bowl of Tomato Soup - not ideal. The staff were doing all they could to accommodate, Izzy in particular was brilliant, but with limited supplies and restricted menu's, I expected more from such a well established corporation and won't be rushing back anytime soon.

3 of us in party all had the Sunday Roast. For the price it's good value for money, all had pud and drink for under £45. Only complaint would be cook your sprouts for longer so you can eat them, far to hard. Still worth a visit

The food was okay but could have been hotter. I also had chunks of cabbage stalk in my coleslaw. Very rushed service. Before we even sat down, we were asked what drinks we would like. Staff didn't look happy in their work.

I had won a voucher for two,for the Sunday carvey, that Table Table had kindly donated to my son's school for their raffle. I will be completely honest my expectations were not overly high. However the carvery it's self was lovely, meat was cooked really...

We had a table booked for five people and when we arrived, we was shown to our seats and told a server would be with us in a minute. We waited more than 10 minutes before I finally got up and went to the bar to order some drinks and was told they will be sent over to the table. We finally had a server come to our table after 20 minutes and ask us about our order which we all said we shall all have the carvery. He gave us a ticket each and said to we can go and help ourselves. Still the drinks had not been brought to the table. We got up and got our food and sat back down to eat. Still no drinks. Finally after another 5 minutes we received the drinks. I could understand if they was really busy but it wasn't. The service was terrible.

Staff were mostly friendly. One looked a bit grumpy. Was looking forward to a carvery and was early evening and they said that had stopped as they'd ran out which was disappointing especially as it wasn't very late either.

Exterior of this place is shocking. Lot of work needed to bring it up to an average level. If it wasn't for the lights being on it looked derelict. Rubbish and litter outside. Dead plants in floor pots and hanging baskets welcome you in the entrance. Carpet is rank and chairs are at the end of their life, being loose and cushions stained. Food pretty poor. Won't be returning here anytime soon.

Anna ensured that we receive the worst ever service in our life. None came to take our order for 25 mins and when I called by going to the desk, she made sure we felt unwelcome (the place was not full and we pre-reserved). The food came 35 mins after we managed to order. Fish in the fish and chips was cold. The worst was yet to come. The kids menu included a dessert; Anna did not take the order along with the main order and said she will come back. Of course she (or any other person) never came back. With many tries to call them, no one showed up (just ignored on the face). Then we decided to go without the dessert anyway and asked her for the bill on the way out. I told her about the dessert. Anna claimed it was never ordered. Of course it was not, but it's already in the price we paid. We felt so bad that we didn't argue and just left. We felt our skin color decided the behavior we received (the behavior with the other customers were strickingly different). This is the most unfortunate thing that happened ever in this country and we call this country a home for many years.

Disappointing had over an hour to wait not the best of menu's

Table booked for 7.15 and ordered food around f half past. By 8.10pm still no food and had a hungry, Bored 4 year old to entertain. When complaining to the manager, we were met with a very rude response of 'aren't they prepared to wait...

Went for lunch on bank holiday Monday was met by Kerri our Server, who was very pleasant as was all the staff, our food arrived promptly and hot and was nicely cooked by Levon, good value for Money ,will be returning especially after signing up for the loyalty card . WW.

We had booked a table for 9 people at 9.30, when we arrived we were told they were running late. No problem. Orders finally taken after 10, food came out and was freezing cold, orders were in correct. Why take orders at the table if...
