Minster Kebab and Pizza House in Thanet

These were the best pizzas I have had in a long time. Delivery was at time stated and piping hot. Thank you

I have never enjoyed a resturant more in my life . I walk in and am greeted by 3 men rushing towards me to sit me down. They give me a table of six to myself and all sit down and start doing karaoke all together . I then was given 5 pizzas on the house and we all began singing. Been going here for over 13 years . Now the chips, doner meat, and customer service is very poor. I hope they get it sorted out soon.

ordered pizza from this place. shouldn’t have bothered. no taste to it and greasy too had a doner last week that was greasy and the chicken was tough too. I will not be ordering from this place any more. Pity as this used be a lovely place and used to use this place on a weekly basis

Excellent food and delivery. Arrived with food hot and drinks cold.

Used to be my favourite now can't trust them. They sent the wrong item and the replacement was also wrong. Absolutely unacceptable.

I regularly have kebabs and they are always excellent. Good portion, good quality, quick and friendly service. Pizzas also very nice.

Food normally good, but tonight after specific instructions on the notes section didn’t turn up as requested. Pots of sauce paid for also did not turn up. Hope they get back to where they once were.

Repeat customer when in the area on business. Hidden away in Minster, it perhaps doesn't get much passing traffic and relies on local repeat customers. It is the best in the area - way better than other similar places in the big towns. Food decent quality and alway cooked fresh, on the spot, to order. Great staff - friendly to everyone. I always go for chicken shish and hummus and it's always been excellent. If you're in the area - this place can't be beaten.

Tasty chicken Sheesh Kebab, fresh salad and helpful staff. They made a small mistake on my order recently and when they noticed that told me straight away, and even though I didn't mind they added extra chips and pickles as a token gesture, which I was greatful for. We often go here for the same order as it's so good! Thank you.

Have used these guys regularly with no problems. Today was different, lamb shish was cold, doner was cold and delivery was longer than expected. I suspect that my order took a tour before it got to me. When I called to complain I was told it was due to the weather (3oC and raining)! Was made to feel it was my fault by the guy that answered the phone.

Since moving to Minster 4 months ago we have had several kebabs delivered and have found the food is good quality and nice size portions. A very good delivery service so all in all you can't go wrong.

I feel sick... dreadful, one of the worst eating experiences. I ordered 1 piece of breast chicken and chips... i got a wing with a mouthful of tough, dry meat... not sure if it was even chicken...there was a pool of oil in the bottom of the box. I do understand that it's fast food but their prices are the same as London chicken shops with obviously no competitors to make it decent. it went in the bin!

I have used this place many times but recently used and found glass in my food, they said they don’t use anything with glass in it. They sent me a new meal but to be honest it went straight in the bin as believe it was in the chilli sauce.

Expensive and greasy! Meat could of been cooked more and chips were soggy.

You are usually given more than what you ordered and staff are extremely friendly! Food tastes favourable and delectable.

The pizza is out of this world the ingredients are all fresh home made doe the texture and tast I would say is better then dominos and pizza hut iam so happy that I chose a pizza over the kebab as a change and from now on I will order my pizza from minster kebab defo a all rounder :) very happy customer :) :)

Such a shame we have had over 80 deliveries and the quality has dropped. Tonight the salad was not separated as asked and for £3 the chips were slack. May look to other takeaway Such a shame as I used them So often.

I just ordered a pizza from here I’ve never tasted anything so vile for a hot n spicy pizza. I would not rate pizzas from this place the pizza wasn’t cut the cutter was just rolled across pizza not cut on any slices. It also tasted off mint for some reason I ordered a 10” had 3 slices or tried to every time I lifted out box all the topping fell off so just eating the dough so put in bin rather starve than eat this pizza

We have been using MINSTER Kebab for years . We paid over £22 for this disgusting meal . Chicken donar was dry, sud and unedable . Called Owner offered 10 pound discount on next order. Called a week later and spoke to the boss who said I was a liar and never Called in . Totally disgusting will never use again . Totally over priced food

Will never use again . £22 of Minster Special and the chicken doner was solid, dry and unedible- disgusting !!!! . If your going to charge the prices you do , at least supply fresh food !! Total rip off !!! Shame I can't post pictures on here.....

Was a bit dubious about ordering, going off the bad reviews, but the food was faultless. Ordered the large mixed kebab and it was easily enough for three people. Piping hot, not dry at all and an amazing fresh salad box. Will definitely go there again.

Never used before and never will. It’s not often I can’t eat a takeaway but this was one of them. Overpriced and disgusting. Maybe caught them on a bad night as I wouldn’t expect them to be in business if that’s what they serve up everyday.

Ordered a couple of takeaways over the last few months and was ok.Decided to go in the shop itself on the way home from work and get a chicken doner wrap. Must be the only takeaway that’s cheaper on just eat as opposed to going in. Nice chap behind the counter but I won’t be back all the while prices are being made up.

Ordered food at around 7:10 still no food when writing this review at 20:03, phoned just to confirm timings, absolutely so rude on the phone. No customer service skills, rude waiting over an hour for our food on a Tuesday evening. Disgusting service, will never order again. Would give them no starts if possible.

Do not get any food from here chicken was smelly and I spent 40 pounds with them asked for my money back for them to be so rude then eventually he said the driver will bring my refund 2 and half hours and guess what still waiting I will be reporting them to the environment of health

Absolutely disgusting food and when phoned to get a refund was told I’m a liar and that the food is good I then proceeded to ask have actually tasted your food because it not only smelled like the meat had gone off but tasted like it too they was very rude and said they would refund me but not to go back ever . I said okay food is here come and pick it up and they never did. I would suggest that nobody goes here I have informed environmental health as I believe that this needs to be investigated further.

Disgusted never using this company again will never recommend it, placed order at 6.30 for 2 kebabs told delivery would be 7.15 to 7.45 called them at 7.50 told driver was on its way, logistically we are 8 mins away, 8.30 called back as still not delivered and cancelled order, we had not eaten anything all day due to a family crisis, don't appreciate being lied

Ordered buy one get one free pizza on 05/01/22 for Bradgate clubhouse. Ordered 2 meat feasts and waited 40 minutes which is totally acceptable. When we opened the boxes I have never seen such rubbish that was served up. I have messaged the restaurant but no reply. Not only did we not get the meat feast but what turned up was not eatable. Took one slice and through it away. I wish I could post a picture because you wouldn’t know what it was. We order a fair amount of food from there so it tells me that there isn’t no loyalty with the takeaway. Steer clear from the pizza because you will be disappointed.

This was the best meal I've ever had delivered from Minster Kebabs. I had a mixed kebab meat and chips, and can honestly say that the meat was amazing and tasted fresh and well cooked. The chips were amazingly crispy and also tasted very crash and were nice and hot. I highly recommend the this take away to anyone looking to eat the nicest and freshest food available locally from a kebab shop. 10/10

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Ordered 2 pizzas based on the fact that just eat says this place delivers to the address i am staying at. After waiting an hour (20 minutes longer than the expected time) i called the shop to ask where my order was, to which i was told that my order had been cancelled. This was a lie because i could hear the manager telling the lady on the phone that she had cancelled the wrong order, to which they then proceded to cancel my order there and then, and then told me that there was a system malfunction. Complete lies and unprofessional. Couldn’t pay me to use this takeaway again.

Fantastic great kebabs worth the money

Ordered a family meal of various Kebabs, didn’t have to wait long, not the cheapest but value for money, good sized kebabs, plenty of salad etc, tasty food, will use again.

What a find!! Best halal food in the area!! Portions are generous, service is outstanding with friendly and professional staff and the quality of food is exceptional (fresh, succulent and well made). My family and I have enjoyed our stay in Minster more due to having such wonderful dinners like grilled chicken, crispy fries, fresh salads and lovely burgers and kebabs.

minster kebab what are you doinggg!!!! You're the best kebab shop around and we order from you fairly regularly. However, the past few times the chips haven't been the best, some being fairly undercooked! And I keep asking for all salad in halloumi wrap (I even rang up tonight about this!) And recieved just lettuce and onions!!!! This happens literally every single time I order a wrap! I LOVE RED CABBAGE AND CHILLIES WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MEEE :(

Delicious chips, a generous chicken burger and good quality lamb doner kebab. We will definitely be returning here and it’s a convenient stop just off the Thanet Way.

It arrived very quickly but the food was absolutely horrible chips was squashed in with the meat the meat had a lot of fat on it very unpleasant.It was really not nice will not order again and it wasn't cheap. Sadly can not recommend.

First time I've used Minster Kebab, but it was highly recommended, so thought I would give it a go! I must admit I did have a long wait, but it's a Friday night, so that was to be expected really. Food arrived, hot, fresh and lovely! Staff were friendly and helpful too. Definitely will use again 😊

Delivery time fast (under the present situation we are all in ) quality of the food good . We ordered large kebabs which were disappointing due to the meat portions being small. When your paying £8+ for a large kebab you expect a reasonable/ generous portions of meat. last night we were very disappointed we have eaten from them many times in the past and have always had a good meal but the meat portions last night were small . Definitely not normal size for them . Hopefully they are not taking advantage of the present situation we are in by delivering smaller portions . Hopefully this was a one off . ( hence only three stars )

Super fast delivery. Food is always very fresh and delivered hot and tasty. The chips are the crispiest I've ever had! Burgers are also damn good too. I would highly recommended these guys to anyone. 10/10

AWFUL! Ordered over the phone and ordered very specifically. Turned up completely WRONG order, as I called for them to come back to collect and get my money back, the lady on the phone proceeded to tell me I was wrong and this is what I ordered. After back and forth she could not be bothered to speak to me and obviously spoke to a manager and then called me a silly cow. Full refund was given but I definitely will not be using them again.

Orderd this evening a lamb shish kebab , chips and a quarter pounder burger, well the lamb shish was amazing! Whatever you are doing do not change it! Chips also very good! Asked for salad and sauce desperately which they did no hassle! Will definitely use again!

Decided to get a kebab on our last night whilst staying at The Foxhunter Park. Very large portions, very tasty good value for money.

The food is delivered to the surrounding hotels using their website or just eat. Good prices and choice.

We ordered from this takeaway restaurant last night after had bad experience with beans give a go for Minster it's outside ramsgate but worth waiting kebab in a tray and chilli sauce was lush highly recommended

I have ordered from here many a time and mostly have the Minster special kebab tray. Last nights 3/07/18 was rubbish. Tray was half full with hardly any lamb or chicken Doner. Chicken and lamb shish must be tiny skewers and there was NO kofte at all in the tray. Will give it one more try but if that happens again I will go to another place. Treat your regulars right and reap the rewards Minster Kebab.

Brilliant service and the best kebab we have had in ages. Even better we didn't have to go out to collect. As we live in the sticks very hard to find delivery service. But we will definitely use them again.

We have ordered many times from here, my favourite is the lamb shush wrap and it's always tasty and cooked well. The pizzas I find hit and miss, I do find if I change the toppings round so it has to be made from fresh it's much nicer, as when I've ordered a standard one before it seemed like it had been sat around for hours! Delivery is always prompt and normally delivered before the allotted time!

Only thing not happy with was been charged £0.50 card fee through the just eat app. (Debit card) We ordered the night before via website and didn't get charged.

Good value take-a-way, the kebabs are very good but the pizza is especially nice. An added bonus is that on Wednesday it is buy one, get one free offer on pizza. I would recommend Minster Kebab and Pizza House without hesitation.
