This is a fantastic gem hidden away on harbour street in Ramsgate. From my two experiences (so far) the food has been a delightful surprise with nice large portions considering the conservative prices, and the flavours so simple yet so brilliant. Truly worth a visit for anyone looking for a traditional Polish lunch or dinner without having to dig deep into your pockets. My mum and I will certainly be back, especially for the spinach sponge cake (trust me, its out of this world).

Fantastic Polish home cooking. Good service and generous portions. Our favourites are the pierogi and meatballs (plus the deconstructed profiterole cake!) Highly recommended.

Brilliant restaurant. Food is good and servings are generous. The cakes are amazing. You can bring your own alcohol without corkage fee and the staff are so lovely and friendly. An absolute gem in Ramsgate

FANTASTIC Polish venue! Really lovely, homely food and attentive service. Beetroot soup and pierogi were delicious- difficult to finish the 10 pierogi as such big portion, with cream. The breaded pork escalope was massive, crispy and juicy. We had no room for dessert, but definitely next time.

We had chicken escalope which was cooked to perfection. The chef must have some secret home recipe. The beetroot soup was a pleasant savoury surprise! These days it is hard to expect such quality and passion for food.

We had a great evening at the Polish Bistro. The food was excellent - robust and tasty. The staff were exceptionally friendly. It was also very good value. What a find.

Polish Bistro serves absolutely fresh home cooked food, super hot and tasty. Food and service is top rated 5 Stars. Pork Escalope reminds me of how my mum used to make them, god how I miss them..but now I know where I can get that authentic home cooked food. I had Beetroot Soup as starter which was amazing. I'm now looking at recipes so I can make it at home, my children are doubtful it's going to taste good, hope I can do justice to what I had on Saturday. One word of advise is to book, there are only a small number of tables and in the time we ate dinner 3 groups that turned up without bookings had to be turned away. Next time we're in Ramsgate we'll be dining in again.

We ate lunch here today as we were passing and it looked more interesting than other places nearby. What a find! It was absolutely delicious. Beautiful beetroot soup with croquettes followed by sumptuous dumplings. We live an hour away but I would definitely visit Ramsgate just to dine here. The food is good value and totally authentic home cooking - we really felt like we were on holiday! I cannot recommend this cosy little restaurant more highly.

I don't mean to offend anyone because I wish everyone the best, especially my compatriot, but do we in Poland have such tasteless and spiceless cuisine... It tastes as if an English chef cooked there, no distinctive flavor. The Hungarian cake consisted of 2 pancakes and 8 pieces of meat. I'm very disappointed... P.S. This food is served like in the times of the Polish People's Republic...

Excellent food at reasonable prices. The pierogis were the the best. Nothing was too much trouble and made to feel very welcome by the host. Can't wait to go back.

My family and I tried this restaurant tonight and the food is second to none: traditional, well made and hearty (from the starter through to desert). Service was excellent from the moment we entered the door with no demand being too much. An excellent meal at an excellent restaurant! A big thanks to lucasz (who served us) and everyone else. Looking forward to our next visit and cannot recommend it enough!
