Absolutely the best chinese around

I’ve never had a pancake roll that small before and for the price of £4.20! It was gone in 2 bites! Never again will I buy from here

They started chanting ‘John pork is calling at 3am with the RIZZ’ which made the atmosphere amazing plus the food which was gorillas balls were so good. Would recommend

Just had the worst Chinese meal out I've ever had. The two main courses we ordered both had inedible chicken fried far too long, tiny pieces of chicken that you couldn't get a fork into, terrible. The starter of vegetable spring rolls were swimming in fat. The chicken chow mein was OK as was the special fried rice, but that's it. Total bill £52 with a token reduction came to £42. Far too much for such a poor quality meal. Wetherspoons Katsu curry knocks spots off this Chinese at a fraction of the cost.

Just a lovely restaurant. Never eaten in but takeaway delicious. Good service Bit pricey for some people . The curry is not spicey so good for everyone.

Everything is excellent here .. very yummy dishes … friendly staff and good atmosphere… happy to recommend for authentic Chinese cuisine.. take away and dine in available.. there is paid car park near by .. quantity is big (we bought house special fried rice this was big enough to share among 2 adults, so also the crispy chicken and beef with green pepper in black sauce).. quality is superb..

We often have takeaway from the restaurant when we are staying at our caravan in monkton .Its fresh & very tasty. Curry sauce is not over spiced as some Chinese are. The prices have gone up compared to the one we use at home ( essex) but the portions are enough for at least 3 people so at the moment ok. Will continue to use it as we do really enjoy it.

Dragon Inn advertised as closing at 11pm on Tuesdays. I've just called them at 10.20pm after completing a 14 hour shift at work. The response I got was "sorry because it's been a quiet night we have shut early" Going to bed hungry and disappointed. Not good.

Excellent well priced takeout with great portions at a low cost. Tasty food with lots of choices. Add the pleasant service and you have a good overall experience. Well worth it.

We have just had a takeaway from the Dragon Inn in Minster, what a find! It was absolutely fantastic. We have been in the area for 4 years and have tried many and they've always been lacking. I feel like I've come home! Can't wait to order again! Highly recommend.

What can I say?? My favourite place!!! Absolutely love the food! Absolutely love the staff!! We have a take away nearly every weekend and have never had a bad one! Best Chinese ever!!!

Waited 10mins to order inside restaurant, guy serving seems to focus on telephone orders only, so I patiently waited and when he was done didn't even take my order, so had to walk out and go somewhere else. Not pleased at all.

Food is always lovely and hot but this has now got expensive with several price rises. Chilli salt prawns Chilli salt chicken wings Singapore rice and portion chips £28 has gone up approx £7. Will still order as a treat but not weekly

Our family have being using this restaurant for years. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal. Always delivered on time and hot. Fully recommend.

Absolutely disgusting! worse Chinese "food" I have ever tried hands down... would never order again. Surprisingly service was okay but the grub was a total let-down from the get go. Rice was greasy, Ribs were Soggy and don't even get me started on the "duck" AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!!

I used to use this place weekly around a decade ago. Best Chinese around. Moved back to the area and its still the same. Highly recommend. Consistently the best Chinese in Kent.

Wonderful meal from Dragon in Tonight. Very impressive set meal, and the chips were beautiful and crispy, just perfect for dunking in my chicken curry sauce! Food arrived hot, fresh and tasty, and was delivered in under 20 minutes. I recommend Dragon Inn to anyone looking for quality, consistency and Vale. 10/10

If you are considering ordering from here, please do! We’ve regularly ordered with Dragon Inn and not one time have we been disappointed. The food is amazing, staff are friendly and delivered on time! If moving out of the area is ever on the cards, I will drive out of my way to receive their food. 10/10

Succulent Chinese meal! I really enjoyed this meal and would definitely recommend dragon inn! It has always been a good one in the village but very impressed tonight; the food was just amazing.

I think this is easily the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Let's hope that they can reopen as a restaurant again soon. Quickly prepared, tasty Chinese cuisine, what more could you want?

Worst delivery service. Extremely late delivery. I ordered food at 6 PM and I was told to wait 45 minutes. I called 1 hours and 15 minutes later and staff said it is arriving but it never arrived. Later when I tried calling it showed busy all time. If you can't deliver food on time then inform people. Don't make others wait for no reason.

I believe this Chinese restaurant has the best food in the area. And believe me there are some very poor ones I do find the the lady who takes the orders to be rather brusque Customers are phoning for a pleasurable experience. Not to be dragooned into a meal delivery Sorry 😀🤭

We could not have asked for any more. It arrived 20 minutes early. Piping hot. All the food was delicious and the chicken balls were the best we have ever had and we get a lot of Chinese takeaways. Highly recommend

I ordered a family meal which included two portions of ribs when we opened the pot they had clearly been cooked in the microwave swimming in the fat from the ribs and sauce had curdled we called to complain and excepted another portion which never arrived we called back and was told they was busy so asked for a refund and the bloody cheek of them asked did we have the ribs to give them back which we have so stuff you but I will never use this place again bad service terrible food stay away

Always use this Chinese, as I feel it is the best in Thanet! Although I just rang up to order a takeaway, and the girl who picked up was incredibly rude!!! Manners are free! I only asked to change the delivery address!

Food is nice enough, but there is no atmosphere 🙁

We visited with brother and sister in law. The men wanted the buffet but us girls wanted a separate meal. They wouldn't allow this and were very rude. They claim we could eat our meals plus some of the buffet. Ridiculous! Would never go there again. Also, the restaurant is very rundown and grubby. Could do with a re-furb and staff training on customer service.

Very rude and unhelpful. Four of us wanted buffet menu and I wanted something specific off the a la carte. They refuse to “mix menus”- even though restaurant empty. I could have just sat on separate table (did this once before when they were doing similar). This time they refused so we walked out. What bloody difference would it have made???

We had the £18.95 buffet which whilst good food and service is let down by Carlsberg @£3 from a can and truly filthy surroundings. We are not talking dust,we are talking dirty cobwebs!! Yes. Dirty cobwebs. Further proof can be obtained by filthy windows that have never been cleaned. Even the fish tank hasn’t been cleaned or topped up with water. Concerned.

Just had food delivered from them. Salted chicken was dry and look like it had been cooked previously and one of my other dishes was not what I ordered. Won’t be using these again 👎🏻

Consistently great food. We love dry spare ribs, house special chow mein and chicken chop suey. Always delivered promptly. Exceeded expectations today when I asked for non plastic packaging for our spare ribs and ribs came in s cardboard box. Well done!!!

Training on how to serve food so that the guests don’t get burnt by hot sizzling fat .The remedy for this is to put the food on the hot plate before bring it to table .If there a spill on the table whilst serving needs attention immediately.Wet wipes would be much appreciated at the end of the meal .Having said all this the food when it arrive was excellent .

It was the BEST food I’ve honestly ever tried. The portions were massive! We normally order loads but couldn’t finish round 1 on this buffet! The service was so good and friendly! It was busy as well! I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend, my new favourite restaurant!

I was ringing and ringing until a answer the lady said they wasn’t open, but on google it states they are open on a Monday, which I pointed out said that someone needs to change that then, then she just said ok bye and put the phone down!

Will not be going back , twice we found hairs in the food , then they tried over charging us £40 for 6 adults when there was only 4 and a 11 year old .. questioned it and then tried charging us £4 for a 2 year old to half eat 2 prawn crackers .. cause we took him they wanted to charge for him being there ..very rude staff members

Food was cold, staff very unprofessional, ie laughing and talking and drinking behind the bar , we had to ask for cutlery, it was the worst Chinese meal ever

Ordered in when staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express Hotel. Easy ordering, good price and free prawn crackers. Delivery was free as well. The food was hot and delicious. Good portions. Would without a doubt order from here when staying nearby again.

I love this restaurant. It has an all you can eat menu, as well as a normal menu. The food is cooked to order and is delicious, there is also plenty of it. The staff are lovely and really friendly. I would definitely recommend you giving this place a go because you certainly won't be disappointed.

Had to give a star but zero for them 2 hours waiting for food lied to about it had left then told lost rubbish service

We often order food to be delivered. The food is pretty good. Very disappointed in tonight's service however. We ordered our family meal at 6.30 and were told 30-45 minutes. And hour and a half later no food. I called to just check they hadn't forgotten us. I understand weekends are busy for them and I am a patient person. I was reassured it was on its way. Had hour later again no food. Another call. Yes yes it's definitely left the building! Another tummy rumbling half hour later no food. Another call. Anyway to cut to the chase we were told it was in its way several times until the last call to be told it hadn't been prepared yet. Hence disappointment in service. Forget us once, ok. Twice, three times, four times, not okay. Four grumpy, hungry, tired, ex-customers of The Dragon Inn.

Been waiting hour and half for food had call them and they said they been out already when they havent when they got here we asked have you been here already they said no so think they forgot about us not happy at all!!!!!! Used them loads times and then this happend not going use them again after this as they was very rude to us over phone and so was the driver!!!!! I would not even give them 1 star!!!!

Wether with friends or alone this is my usual place to order Chinese from, never disappoints. I love egg fried rice and BBQ ribs.

We normally order from the other Chinese restaurant in Minster, but this time we thought we would change it up. Are we pleased we did.... it was the best Chinese we have had in a long while. Delivery was in good time and food turned up hot. Pancakes were nice and crispy as sometimes they can be soggy, duck pancakes also brilliant. Will try eating in next time, but lovely takeaway had!

I now use the Dragon for all of my Chinese takeaways having been converted when I visited the restaurant attached. Food is always ready on time and of a great standard. Would highly recommend to anyone

popped into resturant friday night for take a way one couple eating in tried to order a pork dish to be told they hadnt got any they had run out. two members of staff hsd a take it or leave it attitude so I did wont be going back. Have dined in this place for last 20 years terrible attitude. surely a run to tescos would have solved the problem

Very good Chinese, I had been disappointed since leaving the Canterbury area as could not find anything close to the level of food we had. Dragon Inn food is very tasty and usually turns up with great timing.

Love this Chinese. Fabulously friendly staff and lovely tasting food. We have eaten in but usually order take away and its always great.

On Saturday 9th April I visited this restaurant with my family. The waitress was very polite.There were lots of leaflets on the table advertising the £15.95 all you can eat menu.My husband and myself had to ask for the other menu as we don't eat that much. They said that was fine so long as we didn't share? We assured them we wouldn't. Anyway we ordered and really enjoyed my food. I felt sorry for my sister who ordered an all you can eat . She had never done this before( she only ate the starter and was then full), so it was quite expensive for her. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and the waitress was so patient!( I have a particularly fussy relation). Apart from the dirty toilets ( there were plenty of cleaning products around so no excuse really) it was a nice experience.

Came here whilst staying in the town. Good staff and service but food average fare. Satisfactory, but nothing to write home about. Not bad but uninspiring. Have been to many better establishments.

This is my second visit and the food has been great both times. Order from the eat all you can menu and the choice of dishes is immense. Comes hot and freshly cooked from the kitchen. The only thing that stops this being an excellent review is the staff. Namely the young girls working here. Keep off your phones and pay attention to the customers!
