Wow . If your old school and like Chinese like it was back in the 80s .. look no further.ive used these guys for a while but tonight I had 1 pancake roll. Best I've had in ages . Not greasy just perfect and £2.20 what a bargain. Hot and sour soup was perfect and such good value at £3.20 .. my mains of king prawn ball s with special foo young and chips with curry is an absolute hunger killer .. so in summery 5 course Chinese banquet for £16.30 delivered piping got .... Guys probably one of the easiest revues I've ever done .. 10/10 jayjay

Really nice quality dishes, my mother is oriental so I’m used to authentic quality Chinese food and I have found everything I ordered to be excellent. Good value and quick delivery, I would definitely use Jay Jays agan

Food is delicious and if the owner catches us then he or she will be friendly

Banging chinese- always quick and staff really friendly

They do a banging House special chow mein and there chicken balls are great loved it

The food is gorgeous. Best sweet and sour sauce . There make it 2 perfect not 2 red sauce in it made right. And the price they charge is brilliant 4 the amount off food they give .

I have never liked Chinese my family tried to get me to eat foreign food but always an English food person. Just had my first mushroom chow mien with a bit of chicken chow mien and I am addicted. Absolutely gorgeous

Duck curry without the added vegetables, and fried rice, at over £8 not the cheapest, but one of the best, and certainly one of the largest portions about. Service was fast and efficient, but mask wearing was not being enforced.

Delivery took 1hr30mins (when told 45mins) and my 'vegetable' chow mein had roast pork in it

Duck Curry with small Fried Rice at £7.50, very reasonable price. Lots of duck breast roasted, but a very small portion of rice, possibly not quite enough.

Duck Curry with Fried Rice at £8.40. I ordered it without all the extra vegetables, and it was served just as I asked for it. The duck was roasted, not too much fat, and served skin on. I t was a generous portion, with plenty of sauce. The rice was an ample portion, cooked quite well, I had no complaints, it was ready in about ten minutes, reasonable service for Saturday early evening.

Duck curry, served without vegetables, and a Pancake Roll. Quality was good for the price of £7.80, paid in cash, as they do not accept cards.

Duck Curry with Fried Rice at £8.30,as always tasty and a plentiful portion,cooked just right for my tastes. The problem was a man in the waiting area was not wearing a mask,and the staff just ignored this!

My take-out of choice for Duck Curry. Extra large portion of very tasty duck breast in curry sauce. Meat done well,not to fatty,served with skin on. Added fried rice,and my partner had a portion of ribs,which she said was fine. They gave us free Prawn crackers.

By far the best and largest Duck Curry in the area. Lean Duck with just enough skin,roasted and served with Fried rice,in a curry sauce, The sauce has a kick of flavour,but is not overly spicy,some places in the local area struggle to make a nice sauce,this to me is the best. Just over £8,and they gave me free prawn crackers and Fortune cookies.

Great fantastic food every time, fast to deliver, always when they can, 100% you won't be sorry. Ps if u have to wait, its worth it.

Tastiest chinese food for a long time. Beef curry very tender, Singapore rice very tasty. King prawn chow mein excellent. Fast delivery probably best in Margate and great prices.

Due to the lockdown wanted a takeaway and delivery so tried these guys. Wish I had used them before, food was amazing, taste, quality all fantastic. Try them you won't be disappointed

I would never order from here again. I placed an order over the phone and they said it would be 30 minutes as it was busy I got there within 15 minutes and the food was ready like it had been sitting there when I took it home there wasnt the right quantity of chicken balls and they forgot to add the fortune cookies we paid for and sadly the food was cold.

Less than £8 got a huge portion of Duck special curry and Fried rice. The portion is so big I left half of it,but was all well cooked duck breast off the bone.The curry sauce flavour has improved,and the fried rice complimented it all perfectly.

Just ordered from these folks and I would have no problem recommending them for a very straight down the line Chinese. Everything tasted as it should. Was delivered really fast. All hot and tasty. Well priced. I’d definitely go back there again for a decent Chinese take away.

Under new owners now,but on my visits have found it similar to before,and the food has always been acceptable both before and now. My regular of Special Curry and Fried Rice.A mix of Meats/Prawns/Vegetables. Well cooked,and a nice tasting curry sauce.The Fried Rice was nicely cooked,and tasty. One of the better take-aways of the area.

Down to earth staff who are friendly and treat you as a person. Well lit and very clean inside and trust me on this the food is to die for and worth paying that little extra. Well done.

I have ordered from here and the salt and chill prawns were so dry, I arks for beef in black bean sauce with extra chill but they did not I am so annoyed that I paid for this and the prawns was disgusting not ordering here again

Sweet and sour king prawns in delicious crispy batter with a hint of ginger.Well proportioned chicken and mixed vegetables and tasty special fried rice with prawn crackers delivered promptly with a smile.Better quality than other nearby takeaways.

Placed order at 8.10pm and was told it would be about 45 mins. After an hour and 10 mins I called to see how long it would be. I was told they were still waiting for driver to come back. After waiting and other half hour, rang back to be told they cancelled order and gave it to someone else. 9.50pm and now have to make some toast. Not good enough. Will never order from them again

Used to love the food from here then a few months new people arrived said they were there temp while owners on holiday. Sadly not so they are new owners and the service and the food has gone downhill. We used to say the Hot and Sour Soup was the best outside of Hong Kong now its full of leftovers no fresh veg and has no real flavour at all. Their pancake rolls used to be full of tasty vegs now its all mush with no flavour. Chrispy beef was stuck in one big lump, Kung Po chicken, spicy but no flavour and run a mile from their greasy rice. Such a shame people have told us they have thought the same ..... perhaps it will improve again but we are taking our custom elsewhere.

When in mood for a chinese this is my choice

Service is always polite and friendly, food is delicious and filling, delivery is prompt, best Chinese food around.

We decided to try Jay Jay for a change, partly out of curiosity from the reviews all rating it excellent. The lady behind the counter was very pleasant and friendly, and the meal entirely satisfactory for the price. We weren't expecting anything marvelous, but weren't disappointed either.As in the title, I have no cause for complaint, but no reason for exceptional praise either.We'll try here again some time, it is as good as anywhere without being outstanding.

Have looked around for a decent Chinese for 6 months and eventually found it in Cliftonville. Great tasting main dishes and perfect fried rice. I'm going nowhere else!

Quick and efficient service. The lady who answered the phone was friendly and helpful and when the food arrived it was very tasty. The curry has a unique taste to it, not your normal chinese take away flavour but it great and left me wanting to order some more.

Hit and miss. Not my favourite Chinese but will use it if my favourite is shut.

This restaurant may have made an Unbelievable an effort and the restaurant is well kitted out

Love this little takeaway. A real gem on a horrible road. Always call half hour before it opens to order and collect on way home from work. Food lovely and generous portions.
