Great value for money. We had a large order, the food was great, really hot and was delivered on time. So good we went back a second time later in the week.

Beware - Food Poisoning. Authorities, check this place out and get it cleaned up or close it down, hygine standards are clearly at a dangerous level and a hazard to the community.

Terrible Chinese. Dry and everything overcooked.

Guy on the phone couldn’t of cared less was like he couldn’t be bothered said it would be an hour and despite calling we kept being told we are waiting for a driver or the driver is on its way an hour and 45mins later and still no Chinese absolutely disgusting and then thought it was acceptable to send us cold food that has been sitting out for half an hour

Barbecue sticky ribs were dry with a weird gravy, chicken chow mean was salty and not much flavour, duck rice was watery and zero flavour (chicken, no duck) and chicken balls were nearly ok. Had diarrhoea 4 times so far. If I wasn't so hungry, I would have left all of it. This place cannot be called a Chinese. £32 wasted, next time I'll make my daughter happier with Mcdonalds.

My friend and lodger has been seriously ill from having a take away here, last Thursday. The restaurant deny all and say that ‘it’s not their problem’ - how awful is that! 😳😡

Ordered last night as normal Chinese was closed and won’t be ordering again. Some will see quick delivery as a good thing but you can’t rush perfection. Food was delivered within 20 minutes of ordering. Chicken curry and chicken chow mien, the chicken was full of grit and it went in the bin. Will be sticking with my usual chinese.

This is a takeaway place and the food is really really nice.

I have used this Chinese a number of times but I collect as I live close by. Yesterday I recommended it to my daughter who placed an order for delivery, took 2 and a half hours to arrive!!!!!! This is ridiculous and unacceptable!! I felt bad as I had suggested them to her as a result I will be walking the short extra distance to China City from now on who are better anyway I just usually go for the closest but not anymore!!

Massively impressed! The set meal for 2 we had fed 3 plus a ravenous dog! Everything was delicious and the vegetable spring rolls were the best we've tasted. Fresh and crispy and not oily. This will now be our first choice Chinese Takeaway .

We have been ordering from Golden Fortune for a good few years now and they never fail to disappoint. The food is always really tasty and they take into account our dietary needs. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Order regularly from this chinese. Usually perfect meals and outstanding customer service,but on this occasion the service was unacceptable. We placed an order where items were missing .phone the restaurant to be question and told to check again. We were then advised to wait as the rest of the order is leaving soon. 30 minutes later still no order,phone the restaurant again but didn't really care. Must be making to much money to consider the smaller orders. Will NOT order again. Didn't even offer a refund on the undelivered food. Very poor customer service. Happy to be contacted to be given a refund on the outstanding food.

I'm trying to find a Chinese takeaway that can do deep fried shredded chili beef properly without it tasting like pork scratchings or just hard like a stick as well as getting the rest right. Unfortunately this place couldn't do it either. The rice and chow mein was great and the sweet and sour sauce was thick but the chicken balls were pretty dry and the shredded beef was like pork scratchings. Will be trying a new one yet again next time.

Good food but service questionable...they took 3 phone calls while taking my order so was standing at the order window for 10 minutes.

I don't usually leave reviews but by god does this place deserve it. This is by no means just a takeaway. This is authentic home cooked food delivered to your door. The portions are large, the price is cheap and the taste is simply restaurant quality. Whoever is cooking there is doing it with passion. We've been using here for over a year now and its the best Chinese food you'll ever taste. Its amazing!

Wow just had a delivery and the prawns were amazing. Chicken was perfect. Recommended by my sister and partner. Dad, my partner and myself could not find any fault. Hats off to the chef

Food seems to get better and better never a complaint us always brilliant .

I have just had a delivery from Golden Fortune Ramsgate Grange Road and it didn’t taste right I rang the takeaway up and told them this food doesn’t taste right to send somebody over to collect it because we couldn’t eat it 20 minutes later I was violently sick and felt nauseous I phoned them again and he is all they said was sorry about that I told them I was going to take it to food Standards on Monday and I’m going to there is definitely something wrong with it I’ve put it in the freezer to stop it getting any more contaminated it was disgusting

We had a meal last Sunday and it was the best I've had in years the beef lovely n tender n lots of it, the prawns big n juicy, great portions, I've tried em all in Thanet but this the 1, Its the 2nd time here n wouldn't go anywhere else

Whilst staying with our niece we fancied a chinese take away but her usual was shut so she suggested this place.placed the order and it arrived in under the half hour advised and we all commented on how good and enjoyable the food was, portions good size too, only slight negative was the beef was a bit chewy but that seems to be the case at every take away around the country, chinese or indian. Overall good value, would use again.

Tried this restaurant for the first time because the one we’ve used previously was closed. Very pleased. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. My wife and I have a new favourite. Their turnaround for delivery was a lot longer than collect - they were really busy - so if you’re in a hurry recommend collecting your order.

May 2020. Ordered a take-away from here last night as our usual one isn't open during the lockdown. Very pleased with the quality and quantity of food, and delivery time was as stated. I've added good photo's of the current menu as they don't have a website.

Update January 2020: Since writing the review below I have moved away from Thanet. I have heard anecdotally that quality may have slipped. Original Review: One of the best Chinese takeaways in Thanet for both quality and value. I live locally and have been a regular customer for years. Have yet to be disappointed! Recommended.

Very nice food and good value for money

I have used this place several times now, partly because it is close and convenient. The food is sensibly priced and the choice is wide. Quality of the food is average. I have always found the takeaway clean.

The takeaway was late and took well over an hour to get here. It lacked flavour. The rice was bland. The beef was chewy and the pork was tough. The capital ribs were the worst spare ribs I've ever had. They were extremely tough and some were just bone. Really not worth the money. Will not be using again.

Food is normally pretty good tho I didn't take to kindly to the delivery driver opening my front door himself....

Have been eating Chinese food for many years, and tried many different takeaways. However we found this place a few months ago and have never looked back. This is without doubt the tastiest we’ve ever eaten. Won’t be going anywhere else again

Fabulous food, excellent value!

Very disappointed with this meal. Asked for the best they could recommend and got very ordinary, greasy and bland Chinese stir fry. Plus they charged 50 p for chopsticks. The people who run it and their family are very nice though.

Food has always been great in the past but tonight's wasn't! 3 lids were cracked making the food cooler than it should be and the hoisin sauce was missing from the duck, not happy!

This is so unusual in our house to have a takeaway twice in a week let 2 days in a row. We had a takeaway from here after a hard afternoon shopping for the house. Really pleased we did, piping hot and really tasty and loads for the money

The Golden Fortune Chinese Takeaway is a fantastic place for a meal. They have a table to eat in if you wish but it is mostly a take out. The food is mind blowing delicious! The mushroom noodles and mushroom chop suey were so good. It was just what we needed. If you love Chinese take out, give Golden Fortune a go.

There food is the best that we have tried , the menu is full of different things to choose from thy deliver to your door or you can pick it up we use them all the time.

Comida China improvisada con amigos. ¡GUAU! Nos impresionó mucho, no era en absoluto grasienta, los potenciadores era genial y el menú era genial. We live in Ramsgate & this is definitely the best Chinese food in the town that we have found. Always good delivery times, good prices, & consistently good food.(plenty of it as well)!

My favourite Chinese takeaway in Thanet by a mile. We've ordered from here countless times and always been pleased. The food is great (they have the best crispy seaweed and the duck in plum sauce is amazing) and delivery has always been quicker than average.

He usado este para llevar ahora por dos años después de buscar ¡parece igualmente un largo tiempo después de nuestra última regular para llevar cerrado. Este lugar es increíble comida fresca, sabrosa, entrega rápida, buenas porciones de tamaño y la comida es tan agradable en lugar de simplemente probar nuestros pedidos habituales que pedimos un poco de todas las selecciones todo este tiempo y encontramos algunos nuevos favoritos.

The chow mein was gross , probly been microwaved too long I was unable to pick it up with a fork as it just collapsed into a mush , the pancake rolls were fully open at one end so the insides were burnt and full of very hot and very old oil , the cook must have seen this when preparing the order but just decided to serve them anyway ! Absolutely disgusting chinese takeaway the worst we have ever had by miles and would never use them again even if they paid us to eat it !!

Myself and husband often get a takeaway from this restaurant and has always been fantastic we love the duck and salt and chilli prawns...

Finally found a decent Chinese takeaway in Ramsgate. The food here is very good and fresh. The crispy duck is delicious.
