This place has got to be the worst Chinese takeaway on the island. The food is awful. They use LUNCHEON MEAT! in some of the dishes and cheap ingredients to bulk the dishes out. This place replaced 'The great wall' which was amazing. There is nothing Yummy about this place.

We have been ordering from this Chinese for over 10 years! I have no idea how much business we have brought them but it is a substantial amount. Tonight, they have decided they will no longer deliver to us due to our drive being too long! As we live on a farm we accept that it is often difficult to get to us however, we have always offered substantial tips to the driver who we have come to know very well. It’s a shame there is no loyalty from people you have done business with for many years but I guess that sums up Yummy and their staff. Tycoon here we come!

Food arrived 30 minutes late and it was cold. They clearly give too many deliveries to the driver to take in one go, by the time it gets to you it's not even luke warm. The food wasn't in foil containers which probably would have helped with the temperature. I won't be ordering from there again, £40 down the drain!

Tried this place for the first time. Ordered lots of mixed dishes for 6 people. Food was excellent!!!! Very well cooked, not greasy or overly salty like some places, loaded with meat, prawns and vegetables. Everyone was thoroughly impressed. Everything we had was yummy!!!!!

Our regular Chinese take way was closed So we decided to try yummy Chinese take away we had used it many years ago when it was yum yum and it was rather good but slowly went down hill .However it is now under new management and is called Yummy so we gave it ago ,We were sp pleased we did because the food was piping hot it was tasty and it turned up to our front do at the time say said it would ,The person who delivered it was great and very polite he wore gloves due to the health issues we are having at the moment and all i can say is top marks to him ,As for the food it,s self it was very tasty and there was enough for four adults .Being there is only my wife and my self you can guess what we were having the next evening for dinner .Yep the rest of the tasty and great chinese we had from yummy.This will now be our regular chinese take away and i do think that it is the best in Ramsgate for value taste and the service you get .The staff are friendly and very helpful indeed .TOP MARKS so good to have such a great take away Thank you Guys

I have order before with friends but it was mostly Chao mei and rice and those things are good/okay. Yesterday I order Deep fried beef Cantonese style, mini spring rolls and fried gyozas they all tasted rubbish. The filling of the spring rolls and gyozas was not good and the beef was uneatable. The fried tasted like burnt. also in the order I got Chao mei and was good like last time. The delivery was 20 mins early but the food was disgusting.

Lovely delivery man! Shredded beef unfortunately tasted fishy... I hate fish!!! Chow main was lovely, chicken balls good, chips a bit rubbish as they were cold and like cardboard. An okay meal but wouldnt order again in a hurry.

Dont order the pork balls unless you want a mouthful of grissle 🤢 Called "yummy" and they were less than unhelpful about the situation i paid £20+ bite into a grissley pork ball and im completely put off the rest discraceful service i am livid 😡😡

The food was OK, turned up on time, slightly to much salt in the dishes which was easily tasted, would order again.

I ordered the salt and chilli tofu which for years in a couple of places has become my all time favourite dish. What I received from this restaurant was rectangles of hard, chewy tasteless sponge, ( 2 orders went straight in the bin! tofu should be silky soft in the middle and very slightly battered on the outside with salt, garlic and chilli and take on all those flavours. The duck was chewy yet again the majority has been wasted, the plum sauce tasted awful and was the most watery sauce I’ve ever come across. And the crispy prawns were soggy and tasted sugary. Not salt and chilli fried as described. Out of all of the food I ordered the only thing I enjoyed was the rice. Extremely disappointed! However I did receive my bad tasting food early so there’s always that....

Delivery driver forgot my mixed Hors d'oeuvres. And the chicken chow Mein was so greasy and had no flavour at all, none of the food really had any flavour. The driver did however come back with the rest of the order.

Just ordered a takeaway that took ages to come and when it did it was inedible and stank like dog faeces. DISGUSTING.

Delivery was late by 20 min. Food was very good apart from the noodles which were a bit soggy.

We had a takeaway from here and we were very pleased with the food and service. Good for date nights but also with the kids.

Ordered a takeaway from here after being let down by another Chinese in the town. My husband explained that we had been let down and were very hungry. They said they would be as quick as they could. True to their word, the food arrived in about 20 mins and all was to an excellent standard. We will only use this Chinese Takeaway in future.

This takeaway is by far the best locally in Thanet. The food is always fresh, proper strips of chicken breast in the chicken dishes. Non-greasy, arrives hot and when they say it’s going to! We highly recommend Yummy! It definitely lives up to its name!

Service was amazing but food lacked a little spark in the flavours.

Me and my huge family love a good Chinese (what family doesn't ) and weve had a few Chinese take always from all over Thanet , but this Chinese take away is up there with the best , every time time we've ordered there's never been any problems, the food is always hot and very tasteful , delivery times varies as to what day it is and how busy they are (like most take aways these days) but the food is never just Luke warm or cold. Every time we ordered its always been around the 45 minute delivery time and when it turns up the delivery driver always has a smile and apologises if its a bit later than stated on the phone (even though its not the drivers fault if the chef is very busy cooking) . would highly recommend to family and friends if there looking for a lovely Chinese take away .

I ordered this yesterday for delivery yesterday and my order was accepted. THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED I want way money back please or I will never use your service again

it was very nice, the crispy beef was quite hard though.

This was the first time we had used this restaurant and it was great. The Duck with Hoisin was to die for, the egg fried rice was perfect too. My only criticism was that you can't but just one pancake roll (you have to buy two) and I couldn't manage two of them.

Unfortunately the atrocious weather delayed our order, at least, we assume that's what it was. When our food arrived, however, it was well worth the wait.

Fantastic meal delivered piping hot! My kung po chicken was delicious, just the right amount of spice for my taste, generous slices of pork in my pork fried rice, and perfectly cooked chips, crispy and not too greasy! Thank you :)

We requested asap and it arrived 20 minutes before the estimated time, which was fine. It was all piping hot and absolutely delicious.

The extended the delivery by 10 minutes an delivered 25 minutes early, so i was not expecting or ready for it.

Normally a great spot for a takeaway but food was a little bland today, lacking flavour and depth! Third time ordering and it wasnt great but Im sure we will try again x

The reviews are a bit off-putting, but I thought I would give this take-away a go. Their hot and sour soup was one of the best I have ever had, and the rest of the meal was tasty and well cooked. I must agree with of the reviews that the food was a bit sweet (for me anyway) but not over-sweet. I will use this one again without hesitation.

Whilst the delivery time was excellent, the food was not up to scratch. Pancake rolls had to be thrown in the bin as they tasted off. The rest of the food was ok, really disappointed.

We ordered at 21:00 delivery was due within 50 minutes (21:50) the restaurant added 15 minutes onto delivery (22:05) food arrived at 23:00 rang the restaurant and was told driver on his way .. then they couldn't contact him ... only offered 10% off and aromatic duck was cold and burnt ... not happy with the service seeing we had moved house that day and just wanted some nice food ... very disappointing

Slow delivery plus spent twenty pounds and still had to pay one pound delivery and 50 p for using a card.

First time using Yummy. Used the just eat postcode function and yummy came up. Having placed the order they then called and said we were further out than their 3 mile radius and so would link another £1 delivery charge!!! The food was then 30 minutes late and lukewarm. The food itself wasn't nice either. Won't use again.

Most of the food was good, however the rice dishes were horribly salty. I wanted to ask them to bring another but it spoiled my appetite. Duck didn't come shredded, but it was very good.
