We came for a private birthday party… wow! From the moment we arrived the service and attention was awesome , and very special… what a gorgeous couple ..how the dishes that kept appearing were produced in the tiny kitchen space was unbelievable… the food was delicious , and the wine was amazing …lemon cello yummi and nothing g too much trouble … oh and the baked Alaska a triumph! Absolute yum! We will be back

Great coffee, an excellent choice of bagels and some lovely cakes. I had a cappuccino, and I am very fussy. I hate poorly made, over priced coffee. This was a great tasting coffee. More foam for me would have made it even better. My partner had a veggie bagel and I had a tuna melt. Both were really good. Full and tasty. Followed by a huge piece of carrot cake. I ate the walnut off the top. I was too full. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the carrot cake.

We've visited The Greyhound before, and had great experiences.. amazing food on the set price and a great Sunday lunch in january, so we booked a table for mothers day expecting great things. The food looked nice but was disappointing to say the least. Beef was very thin and the colly cheese was undercooked, most of the veg was barley warm.. very disappointing experience.

We had a birthday meal here for 14 people. Service was excellent very friendly. The food was excellent, not 1 mistake, everything was on time and hot and EVERYTHING was delicious. They were very helpful with the surprise birthday cake. Nice comprehensive menu with something for everyone, and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be visiting again.

We booked the Boot as a mid walk pub to have lunch. It is dog friendly and has no issues with muddy boots. The staff were very welcoming, friendly with a sense of humour. A perfect front of house experience. They catered and worked around my wife's allergy very well, such that it didn't spoil her enjoyment of the food. All the food we ate was excellent, piping hot, tasty and well presented and at a reasonable price. Overall a most enjoyable experience and would highly recommend.

We recently had an excellent family lunch for eight, with well-prepared food and prompt service. Whilst the menu isn't fancy, the food is very well-cooked and delicious, providing great value for the price.

I love getting a coffee and a snack and sitting by the fire in the main guest lounges if I am ever near in CT. The walk up cafe food is great and mostly made to order. The service is friendly and it's a lovely place to sit on the deck in warm weather or nest by the fireplace or in the library room. The decoration feels like you are in the weekend section of the NY Times or in a cosy relatives house that you like ;)

We went for dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday and were very pleased with our evening. The service was friendly and attentive without being pushy. The food was delicious and the ambiance is delightful. We will absolutely be visiting again.

This is a busy place and staff are often a bit stressed. Met friends passing through to Cornwall for coffee yesterday and stayed for 45 minutes- staff member pointedly came to table and asked if we wanted anything else, obviously trying to get us to move along. I understand there are limited tables inside but this felt unwelcoming

If you like sitting in a bright, stark cafe-type establishment with loud noise reverberating off the walls, and zero ambience, then this place is right up your street. Unfortunately we hate all of these things when looking for a place to eat out in the evening. Just 1 of the waiters should any warmth or gave us any attention. The rest couldn't be bothered and pretty much threw things down on the table infront of us - almost with contempt? .... The food? Bland & tasteless. Never again.

We were on a road trip and met family here for a lunch before continuing. None of us had been here before but I figured why not. Portions are MASSIVE. Food is good. I had chicken parm sandwich, mother in law had the chicken parm pasta, father in law had the Chefs special a seafood linguini and my son decided the patty melt was good. We could not finish it all. The staff was attentive, the place was busy, clean, friendly, and everything went well. We all enjoyed our food.

Enjoyed cappuccino in the garden with very light and tasty mango and almond pastry. Friendly staff. Beautiful setting.

White hart is a nice really nice pub, was great service and the food was quality, definitely would recommend to come here

Fabulous village pub …lovely friendly staff and just amazing food…. Sunday lunch was a real treat , and we try to go to all the fine dining evenings… Kerry is a ray of sunshine and looks after us so well. A great mix of pub, village gatherings and fabulous food.
