We came here for my birthday lunch and were blown away by the quality of food, friendly staff, price and overall feel of the place. We did the lunch deal and we were so impressed with how much you got for the price. Our server was so lovely and attentive, and made me feel really special on my birthday. It has the feel of much more expensive Japanese restaurants in London and is a real asset to Oxted. Cannot recommend this place more and we're already planning when we'll be coming back!

This was the 4th time we've been eating here, and it did not disappoint. The food, as always, was exceptionally good. The staff were attentive and engaging on what was a busy evening. I can't recommend Kinjo enough if you are looking for a great Japanese meal and a great night out. Just been back again and still it is top notch.

I visited for the Sunday buffet (£15.95, including a starter and naan) without a reservation. The staff searched to see if they could accommodate me- in an empty restaurant. A bowl of Thai prawn crackers was a nice touch upon arrival. The atmosphere, however, was weird- a theme that will go on and doesn't represent the other Nepalese establishments that I've visited, especially in the Reading and Surrey areas. The waiters, while efficient, came across as robotic, likely due to overly strict training. A few tried to show some personality, but the overall vibe lacked warmth. This rigidity set a strange tone for the experience. The starter, momos, was a highlight – well-presented with a nicely presented sauce and tasty. However, I found it odd that a buffet required me to sit and eat a starter first. When I questioned this, I was abruptly corrected, which nearly prompted me to leave. To top it off, I was unexpectedly charged extra for a side of chilli sauce – a first for me, as this is typically included elsewhere. The buffet itself was quite underwhelming. The chicken and vegetable dishes were bland, the mixed veg tasted like frozen supermarket fare and the inclusion of a noodles option felt out of place. The freshly cooked naan delivered to the table, however, was excellent. Overall, the restaurant seems to lack a clear identity- is it high-end, budget, or mid-tier? The experience felt disjointed, from the awkward service to the inconsistent food quality. At £15.95, it’s not exorbitant by any means, but I wouldn’t return. The whole vibe was just not very comfortable.

My partner said ‘it is a trick restaurant’ - it wants you to think it’s better than it is!? The very high price for the tasting menu and wine flight makes you think that you are in for something very special (trick 1) The portion size is very small ( most notably the Pate) trick 2 Staffed by young inexperienced girls with no Matre de onhand to guide and control them Service was slow (70% capacity) Very expensive wine by the glass served pre poured and not a sight of the bottle (the wine should have been served at the table from the shown bottle?) trick 3 Not a special experience and not value for money trick 4

An exceptional restaurant. From the moment you walk through the door the team are so friendly & helpful to look after you. Sergio is the most incredible person, the food he creates is delicious, fresh and leaves you wanting to go back for more. The specials are always a delight. There is no other tapas as spectacular as this. We have recommended friends & family who also loved it!! You have to try this restaurant and become part of the Pan & Vino family.

We'd just finished touring Hever Castle and were ready for a proper bite to eat. A Google search & short drive later, and we found ourselves plates deep into a well-presented Steak & Ale Pie/Chips & Cajun Chicken Burger/Sandwich. They were both extremely delicious. With Oldies Classic tunes playing in the background, this charming cafe just feeeeels right. The server/service (Alex) was wonderful, as well. We were so amazed at how beautiful our food looked and tasted, we forgot to take photos--embarrassing.... A gem of a place!

I’d been looking forward to trying Brisk’s sourdough pizza ( which in fairness didn’t disappoint ) but the service was abismal. Extra items added onto a burger and pizza which we didn’t order and the homemade lemonade at £3.75 was a joke. It was water with a slice of lemon and mint. Atmosphere cold, not lively . Won’t rush back. Such a shame and where is the milkshake.

Lovely cafe in the heart of oxted. Great place for breakfast especially during a summers day with seats both inside and outside. Opted for the folded eggs on sourdough. Was nice although I think they could give you 2 sourdoughs rather than just 1. My partner opted for buttermilk pancakes which were also really nice. Nice service and overall great but portion size could be slightly bigger.

For me, I like this place for the atmosphere and the service the most. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, they try their absolute best to help you and genuinely deliver a very strong standard of service. Over all the standard of food is quite good.

Arrived for lunch Friday 11th April. Not an experience we will repeat. Very very average food. Waited 30 minutes for our plates to be cleared, had to ask for the pudding menu. Then when we were ready to order were informed that the cheesecake we all wanted was not available. Bearing in mind that we were the only people eating inside the service was awful.
