We came here for my birthday lunch and were blown away by the quality of food, friendly staff, price and overall feel of the place. We did the lunch deal and we were so impressed with how much you got for the price. Our server was so lovely and attentive, and made me feel really special on my birthday. It has the feel of much more expensive Japanese restaurants in London and is a real asset to Oxted. Cannot recommend this place more and we're already planning when we'll be coming back!

We ate here as a group of 4 adults, and were impressed. We returned with our 3 children for dinner. The service was exceptional. The waitress took some time to explain the menu, and was very attentive to the children. The food was excellent. We'll be back.

Excellent service and superb food….In my opinion, I would rate Kinjo far superior to some of the top Michelin star restaurants I have eaten in.

Very tasty food, but at a hit to your wallet or purse. Varied lunch menu with weekday offer. The restaurant does have strange opening times, so worth booking ahead to get a seat. Attentive staff in my previous visits for a friendly experience

Four of us ate at Kinjo on a Saturday evening. Immediately upon entering, the restaurant had a great energetic feeling. The kitchen is open, with bar seats and the staff greet all customers on arrival. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. We felt well looked after at all points. The menu was easy to understand and had a superb range of options including sushi, sashimi, tempura, grilled meats and other dishes. All of the food was amazing. The soft shell crab tempura, calamari, spicy tuna roll, wagyu skewer and octopus sashimi were highlights. If this was in the Michelin guide I would not have been disappointed. I had a seat where I could see the chefs working in the open kitchen. The kitchen was clean and professional. The chefs were clearly talented and took pride in their work (particularly the sashimi chef and the chef preparing the shushi rolls). The drinks menu was sufficient and there was a good range of desserts. The music was good and the bill not excessive. I can’t fault it, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

Visited this lovely little coffee place with friends. Very spacious and clean, lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff. We had a mix of coffees and milkshakes which were delicious, as well as cupcakes and toasties which were also lovely. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Great selection of gluten free cakes (tastes same/better than normal cakes) , generous portion sizes and lovely cozy atmosphere - a perfect brunch or afternoon tea spot 🍵💕

Food was beautifully presented but somewhat average tasting - not the quality we expected for the prices charged. Service was inattentive and slow. For example, being asked who ordered what (at a table of 2) just isn’t a fine dining experience. We won’t be back in a hurry unfortunately.
