The Deli Oxted in Tandridge

Bru and Bear hosted the most beautiful baby shower for us. The food was amazing and it was the perfect setting. A fabulous afternoon was had by all. Thank you to the team at Bru and Bear.

The best coffee, the best food, the best service. You cannot beat this place for quality. I recently got thrown a baby shower here and the food was delicious. Equally, I’m a regular for their coffee, smoothies, delicious cakes and brekkies. You cannot go wrong choosing here.

We organised a 30th birthday celebration at Bru and Bear in Oxted and had the most amazing evening! The food was incredible, staff we lovely and the atmosphere was perfect. All of our friends commented on what a brilliant evening it was and how delicious the food was. Thank you so much for hosting - we would definitely book again in the future!

Oh my good Lord, the breakfast bacon and sausage ciabatta is out of this world good. Without a doubt the best thing that I’ve ever eaten.

Coffees are good but the food is mediocre to say the least. Overpriced and small portions. £12.50 for a full English breakfast which is the smallest meanest portion. The place is pretty small and quite industrial looking. Wouldn’t recommend or go back.

A fantastic place for the perfect brunch and a coffee with a punch. The refurb and rebrand has brought a great energy to the space. The food, as always is on point, with a menu that caters to everyone’s needs and promises some perfectly cooked eggs 👌🏼 highly recommend - a new favourite local hangout with friendly staff who genuinely care about producing high quality coffee and food.

The Deli is run by wonderful, friendly, attentive staff who can't do enough for you. The food is delicious and always cooked to perfection with a fantastic coffee selection, well made, on the side ... Their Sunday Brunch Menu is my favourite in Oxted ... Great atmosphere, clean facilities.

Every time I have visited The Deli, the food and coffee has been absolutely delicious. The interior is beautifully designed and atmosphere is very relaxing. The Deli is my preferred coffee stop in Oxted. Clean, quiet (mostly) and a nice range of menu choice. The Brunch bun has chilli flakes giving it some lovely zing. Perhaps the Avocado smash could have that added as an option? Also some chopped red onion mixed in.

The Deli in Oxted is an absolute gem! The staff are very welcoming and their coffee is the best around. They have lots of seating indoors, out the back and a little table outside the front. A great menu and lovely counter items too. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

For us it's proved to be the best coffee in Oxted. Nice place with good selection of cakes and snacks and it's got plenty if seating in the front part of the shop as well as a useful and unexpected garden area which is a surprise given the location.

Best breakfast in oxted! I go here regularly and each time greeted by both Lauren and Matt with a lovely smile and a warm hello! The food is amazing along with a great selection of teas and coffees! Not to mention a cheeky cake for afters!

It’s a no from me on the flavour. The tacos were made up of plain chicken and a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce. I left feeling pale and lifeless like my chicken!

Visited with my elderly parents for coffee. Flat whites and lattes and they were delicious. Hot and strong. Best coffee I have tasted in a long time. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend

I’ve served more presentable food to my dog… coffee is average at best, wanted to like this as reviews were great. Poke bowl was packeted rice with poorly prepared toppings. Toasted sandwich was soggy due to toasting the pickles inside. First and last visit …

I had food here Nov 2021, the staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was really warm and welcoming and the 'deli style' things for sale were all super nice. They had a really cozy outdoor space with heated seating and lovely cafe music. I would 100% recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed toasted sandwiches at the deli over an informal lunch. It's a pleasant place to eat with a scattering of tables although the place is a little gloomy. Nevertheless, the prices were reasonable, the food tasted great and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a nice place to have an informal lunch.

I don’t ever post reviews! This is my first but after the fantastic lunch and great service I felt the need to. I am a plumber, I love my food but I find a diet of Greg’s and fry ups gets very boring! But today I found a place I would happily cost any time I work in Oxted a really well presented lunch that tasted amazing with fantastic friendly service what a gem and great value for money. I will definitely be going again

We came across The Deli and decided to stop in for some lunch. A really good range to choose from and the food was delicious- I had the pulled pork brioche. It was easy to order, the service was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I even got a few things to take away for later. Really love the Deli. It's evolved a lot since the new owners took it over. Now offers great eat in options for breakfast and lunch. The coffee is probably the best in town and takeaway food e.g. Sandwiches, pies, olives etc are fab. The new owners really make the place, really friendly and have been so creative in making the deli such a great addition to the high Street!

They offer such a great variety of English, Italian, Spanish and other European products! It's the perfect place for finding delicious cheeses.They've changed recently the menu and you can choose among really good salads or sandwiches, perfect for lunchtime. Everything made with organic and fresh products.

These mammoth scotch eggs are AMAZING! The haggis and curry one I had was out of this world and the egg was cooked to perfection! I drove half an hour just to get one (or two) and it was WORTH IT!

I have so much LOVE for The Deli. It is Rammed full of Fabulous things. Everytime I go in I’m Amazed by the ever changing produce that is in there. Jason the owner is so Passionate about what he does. He is a real Inspirational Guy . I’m all for independent Shops Cafes and Anything that is just a bit different from the Normal. I Pop in and grab my Coffee Fix which is my FAV Coffee in town along side ToasT and it’s hard not to come out Everytime with more. I would Happily Travel Miles for such a Cool place with its Cool Ideas Products and Vibe. I’m so Lucky i don’t have to as it’s on my Doorstep.

A lovely well stocked deli in the heart of Oxted town serving a great variety of food produce, veg, cheeses pulses, nuts and so much more! You'll have to take a visit yourself and remember to take a variety of containers to fill with freshly baked granola, pulses nuts or whatever takes your fancy...

Although not a restaurant, the deli offers good food and good choice of deli product. Friendly service, not cheap, but quality products for Oxted.

We had a brunch at toast and was offered a freebie coffee at the deli after ( clever sales tactic!) well worth the trip, same standard as the cafe, left with a bundle of goodies!

A typical Weatherspoons - cheap booze and very basic (microwaved?) food It’s always very busy, some of the food is passable but the low prices make it real value for money! P.s their special gin cocktails are special!

Was the first shop we went into after moving to Oxted in June, always a warm

Went to the deli last friday in need of some food for a bbq, ended up buying an arrangement of food from cheeses, meats and was even welcomed from the owner complimentary eggs! The food was delicious and would highly recommend!

Popped in having been recommended a visit by the staff at Toast in Oxted ( joint venture ? ) . It certainly doesn’t disappoint, I purchased some amazing British cheeses as a gift for my parents up in Liverpool, they were over the moon!! I’ll be returning for sure, keep it up!!!

We couldn’t find a table at Toast a couple of Saturdays ago so bought a couple of amazing Scotch Eggs with Chorizo and separately with venison and black pudding. Yolk was still slightly runny. Perfect. These are nothing like you can buy anywhere else. Had our coffees and sat at little table and ate al fresco with a slice of cauliflower fritata. Felt like Porto had come to Oxted.

There's nothing better than popping into The Deli to see what's new. Staff are lovely, knowledgeable and quick to offer little tasters. I can highly recommend the stuffed vine leaves, nocellara olives, homemade scotch eggs, Lancashire bomb cheese...basically everything. You can eat in or grab a selection for lunch spreads and entertaining. An Oxted highlight!

Excellent fresh rhubarb, I made the perfect crumble. Top marks to the service received especially to the dashing chap behind the counter. A great addition to the Oxteds high street.

The Deli sells unique and amazing produce you can’t get elsewhere. Homemade Venison and black pudding Scotch Eggs, authentic Portuguese Pastis de natil egg custards, amazing cheese selection. Yes it’s more expensive than a supermarket but it’s small batch flavoursome healthy interesting stuff that you have to pay a premium if you want great stuff. Close your eyes, open your tastebuds and buy!

Fab deli - just what Oxted needs! Must trys = ham (best ham EVER tasted), cheeses, granary loaf and peanut butter (Pinks) - that was lunch and afternoon pick-me-up sorted! Coffee - very smooth Ethiopian (a little too mild for us) will go for the Brazil sourced next time. Buy a glass bottle (yeah!) and fill up with directly imported olive oil, eat sleep, repeat! I've requested sweet vinegars to be put into this very excellent bill of fare and am hopeful. Dude! You need a web-site to take orders!!

I come in here every day for lunch.. the chap behind the counter is always lovely, and there’s always something new for me to try. Amazing coffee, as well as amazing fresh produce for my dinner. Impressive, especially as I’m a fussy vegan! Keep it up!

I’ve been secretly popping down here for my lunch for the last 4 weeks or so, it seems the secrets out the bag as lunchtime is getting busy,.they use some herby cheese In the steak sandwich with a chilli sauce that I thinks homemade , tastes unreal!!

Just bought a selection of cheeses and nibbles for our family picnic tomorrow, we were allowed to try all before we bought and were guided through the cheeses by the shop keeper. We all left saying how nice it was to experience proper customer service in a high street shop, the guy had us all excited about what we bought and we can’t wait to get to the seaside tomorrow and tuck in!

Ive trundled down station road east every lunch time for 4 years, more often than not ending up in boots for a meal deal sandwich offer. Colleagues have mentioned the deli but before today I hadn’t ventured across the road to check it out...

I can’t enter Oxted without popping in to see Jason in The Deli. He always has a fabulous selection of fresh artisan food, he is an alchemist with taste, be it his venison and black pudding scotch eggs, with homemade coleslaw or a great slice of his cauliflower cake which has me ache for more or a few slices of his rib of beef that I could never reproduce the flavour of at home. As I stood there chewing a wild deer stick I was lost with which to choose gorgeous roasted veg, butterbean salad...mmm but then was lured by the cheese counter. If I was in a hurry I would have grabbed one of his brilliant veggie nutritional lunch boxes....this guy has it sussed homemade good nutrition and flavour and he’s always got something new to lure you. By the way if you’re a coffee junkie you won’t beat his flavour in any chain!

Best cold meats and sausage rolls !!!

Amazing chilli and mango chutney sausage roll. Tried to resist but couldn’t and so glad I didn’t. This pastry would give the north a run for its money! Possibly the best sausage roll I’ve had!

My, my what a delicious focaccia, it was so tasty I bought the ingredients to take home with me so I could make my husband one. Such a lovely deli, lots of interesting, quality goods so rarely found outside of central London. Chipper service too. I found it hard to comprehend why the Costa over the road was so busy when this gem is here - these people are missing a trick!

Having listened to my work pals wax lyrical about this place I decided to drop in on Friday 9th, went for a freekeh and falafel salad, it was GORGEOUS!!! Grabbed a whole bunch of goodies for the weekend too,stunning cheese x

Stopped in the car outside in search for a bite on the way through, there was a choice between the deli or the bakery ,glad I took a punt on the deli , I found a friendly guy serving who recommended his mixed salami and provolone focaccia - turned out to be easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!!!! Looking forward to heading back to buy some cheese and bits for the weekend!! You'll get five stars when I've tried the cheese !!

I was looking for some raclette cheese and have struggled to find anything in the local area. The guys at the Oxted Deli were extremely helpful and ordered some in especially for me! It was delicious, and very reasonably priced too. I’d definitely recommend to others!

Been looking for somewhere to get a quality lunch for ages and finally found somewhere that I like, excellent and friendly service and I can highly recommend the beef sandwich. Looking forward to the home made coleslaw coming soon..

You really MUST try the Lancashire Bomb that these guys stock, as well as a fantastic selection of other cheeses and yummy things to eat, oh and great coffee too! Anyway back to 'The Bomb', it is just amazing, particularly when eaten with a spoon on the sofa!!! A great quirky gift for that person who has everything! Lovely place and a great addition to Oxted High Street! Keep up the good work team.
