The best restaurants in Boughton and Courtenay Swale South East

We had Sunday lunch on the 3rd of November to celebrate my wife's birthday. We have dined before when staying in Whitstable. Service and food were exceptional as usual! Best Sunday lunch in the area but not the cheapest.

A little gem on a busy road my first visit today with my elderly mum and was made so welcome from an earlier phone call for directions …. Which easy to find So pleased I went excellent food and fantastic valve friendly atmosphere from start to finish I felt like I’d known Nick ( the owner ) and Jackie for years The best bubble and squeak I’ve had in years looking forward to returning soon It may be a small diner but a big personality for a professional business

This fabulous venue is once again staging live music. At the moment only occasionally but events will increase in time. Keep an eye on their website and social media. Intimate venue hosting interesting acts from far and wide.

What a lovely little pub. Really friendly staff and super relaxed. Only stayed 30 mins but wish I'd stayed there the rest of the night. Definitely going back!

What a welcome return to The Dairy. It truly is like popping around to your best friends for dinner and as always the food was outstanding and the company wonderful. Julie is such a warm and welcoming lady and all the staff really make this an enjoyable visit - and the Crunchie MilkShake was awesome. Well done guys - you have set this place up perfectly

Went here with my husband and my dad, for the Sunday carvery, we arrived a bit early, but they was fine with that and was shown our table, then asked if we wanted drinks, which we did. Short time later we was asked what meats we would like, the hubby and me chose pork and beef, my dad chose gammon and beef. Now what I really liked about this carvery was, they got your meat ready on the plates then came and got you to go and get the rest of your food, this was done a table at a time, so no standing in a queue waving your plate around. Plenty of both meats was put on our plates, there was plenty of choice vegetable wise, ie cauliflower cheese, swede, brussel sprouts, carrots, cabbage, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds, stuffing, and best crunchy pork crackling ever!! I ate everything on my plate, really really enjoyed my dinner. Pudding My hubby not a pudding person and my dad was too full up , I chose spotted dick, but I was full up as well so asked if I could take mine home. Which was not a problem, was nice and hot and put in a container for me. All in all, a lovely little pub, in a rural area, staff where lovely, polite and efficient. If you like great homemade food definitely worth a visit. Will definitely be going back again.

Found this place online after looking for a nice traditional pub that did some good hearty food and we got exact that. Lovely food, great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff! We had a long journey home ahead of us so it set us up nicely, would definitely recommend if you’re passing by!

Wonderful afternoon tea. A lovely little cafe with excellent service and food made to perfection. An absolute delight. If you get the chance to try the burnt cheesecake, it's a dream !

Absolutely amazing! Immediately welcomed by a welcoming atmosphere! We tried the Valentine's menu which was out of this world. We cannot wait to come back another time to try the standard menu. A classic village pub with great character.

Lovely peaceful environment for a stop on your journey. Clean, well laid out and service with a smile. Easy for wheelchair access, too.

We were visiting here likes 7 times before but never had this experience until today. We sat there having our bunch with coats, scarves and hat on because the café was so cold. The cafe was busy and when looked around everyone did the same with coats, scarves stills on. We don't understand that they have big radiators but all shut off. Food are not cheap plus you have to go to ordering a food and drinks yourself. What is the reason for letting customers sit in feeling uncomfortable and cold?.. To get out quick? To sell more hot drinks? This is so Gross and unacceptable!!! We​ ​would rather go somewhere else with warm atmosphere, feeling relaxing and welcoming!!!!!
