This fabulous venue is once again staging live music. At the moment only occasionally but events will increase in time. Keep an eye on their website and social media. Intimate venue hosting interesting acts from far and wide.

Fantastic ambiance, super stylish and quirky vibe and the best sausage roll I've ever eaten. This place is so special, you are greeted with the warmest smiles and the most attentive service. My favourite place to have coffee and a bite in Faversham. Couldn't recommend more!

Popped into the hot tin for a small lunch with my mum. I had a tai green curry and mum had a carrot and coriander soup. Both meals were very tasty. Generally a very nice boho- friendly atmosphere. Whilest the menu is quite small, it's very well done and other items look lovely. Also a nice range for vegetarians.

My self wife and sister in law went there during the hop festival the band was folk with a touch of classical and very distinctive sound, they were great, followed by someone playing our kind of Jazz, The staff were attentive, the food was excellent, the ambience was fantastic .I recommend a visit to The Hot Tin

I felt like I had been placed into a Hoxtonesque studio cafe and was waiting for a happening to take place. We only had coffee but the food coming out of the kitchen looked proper tasty. I quite like the idea of mixing up spaces to accommodate arts and food. Not sure i quite got the textile residency artist on stage. Her hot plates and dye equipment looked like she was going to drop a DJ set and was waiting for the lights to drop but no music was made.. Good luck with the venture.

A little gem away from the town centre, this converted tin church has been transformed into a cafe and events venue. The menu is limited but very well chosen and always delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful and the shabby chic atmosphere makes for a relaxed and happy lunch or cake and coffee.

I've just attended a function here, an art exhibition in fact, and I have to say, I was quite impressed. The food was decent, the drinks varied (I had my first and second Espresso Martinis) and the hosts are really nice people. The venue is less than 10 minutes walk from the station and is right on the recreation ground, so it's very easy to find. I'd certainly be keen to go back and see what it's like when they don't have a function on. Very charming space.

Kitchen@Oscar's is an unpretentious, old-fashioned, family-run bakery - and one of the best spots in Faversham. The welcome is always warm and friendly and you can really tell this is a family business. Everything on the counter is amazing! Selection of high quality bread, sourdough, rye, etc, served cut or uncut. And the best croissants in Faversham, amazing sweet treats and savouries, and with a selection of freshly prepared hot food (like sausage rolls - vegan options available!) You can also order a bacon roll, bacon and egg roll etc, cooked-while-you-wait. Conveniently located by the train station so perfect to pop in for a coffee before commuting. (And their takeaway cups are always distinctive!)

Hidden little gem. Walk through the antique shop to a bright small but beautiful tea room. Staff were incredibly friendly. Tea was superb and cake, well let’s just say it was hard to stop at one slice! Antique delicate china always seems to make tea taste better! Little games on the tables make it perfect for a get together with friends and even for children. Lovely views overlooking an orchard which was stunning. Will definitely be returning!

We visited on Sunday 25th August as we were staying locally for my wife’s birthday. We arrived shortly after opening, and were warmly greeted, and told to wait by bar. Whilst waiting they added birthday decoration to our table, which was a lovely touch. I booked after reading a gushing write up in a Kent newspaper, and whilst living in Kent my whole life, I had never heard of The Dining Room before this. I had high expectations, but it was a complete surprise for my wife. As we arrived early the restaurant was empty, but then started filling up as the meal went on. The food was incredible - genuinely some of the nicest dishes we have ever had. I had the lamb starter and my wife had the onion bhajis. Both lovely. Main course, I had the fish curry and my wife had the king prawn. Both were lovely, plentiful and very well served. With breads and accompaniments we were both too full for anything. As the food was too good to leave the waitress kindly bagged these for us, which we enjoyed a few hours later. We were very kindly offered a complimentary drink to celebrate also. I’m not often compelled to write a review, but this definitely earned it. Highly recommend visiting if ever nearby, or even fancy the trip out to Leysdown - you won’t be disappointed.
