The best restaurants in Surrey Heath South East

Aquí para el almuerzo del domingo. Siempre fue uno de nuestros pubs ‘go to’ especialmente para el almuerzo del domingo, pero ahora es absolutamente excepcional. Tal vez un cambio de gestión, pero ahora muy acogedor y la carne de res era hermosa y sabrosa. El crumble de manzana era divino.

We visited here a few times for Sunday lunch when our children were small. I remember the lovely atmosphere as they would have a trio of musicians playing trad jazz in the dining area & big chesterfield sofas to relax with a drink after lunch in the bar area. After having a wonderful afternoon tea back in January, my husband and I decided it would be a great idea to bring the family and grandchildren back here for Sunday lunch. We arrived early and enjoyed a cocktail in the bar prior to the lunch. However when we went into the restaurant the table was only laid for 6, and they said that they wasn't informed that it was 6 adults and 2 children. Now reception were very keen to take our deposit back in January, I also had an email confirming the numbers for the booking, so I'm unsure as to why the information hadn't been clear to the restaurant, but mishaps happen and that's ok. After this the only word I can use would be chaotic, I'd have been quite happy to return back to the bar and have another drink whilst they sorted the table, instead we were just sort of standing there. Once the table was laid, we sat down and was offered water.....I then wanted to find out how the menu worked with the children but I felt trying to catch the waiters eye was quite difficult......we then wanted to order wine for the table but again this proved to be quite difficult. It wasn't very busy either. I'm sure if they had a good front of house/maitre d' these little problems could be easily rectified. When we had settled, our waiter turned out to be friendly & funny. On the plus side it has a relaxed atmosphere, was lovely for the children. The food was delicious, although the roast wasn't hot when it was served at the table. They had a pianist playing in the bar area but you couldn't really hear it in the restaurant. It reminded me of being on a cruise ship & I'm not sure if this is positive or negative ....... Maybe we will pop back for a drink on the terrace in the summer.....

Come here all the time but the bar menu on lunchtimes is exceptional good value and worth promoting. I had kidneys on sourdough with a peppercorn sauce and my wife had sandwich and soup... a wine each .. affordable heaven. Best pub food in Surrey Heath by a long way

Very tasty food. A good selection of fresh sushi and affordable too. Can eat in or take away which is convenient. Friendly staff and welcoming. Will come again.

best meal ever- amanda was brilliant we ate all the food ice cream is very very delicious, amanda welcome kindly go the restaurant with her beautiful smile and i hope she’s here again, thank you

Unlike any fish and chips I’ve ever had - tasted very fresh and not too greasy! Would 100% recommend, also perfect portions

Very average . Felt like eating on an aeroplane. Prepacked egg sandwich heated to a temperature which would melt steel.

Well distanced inside, good food, good service, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a great variation in types available, give it a go.

Was looking forward to buying a takeaway from here again. I have not been in this area for quite a few months. This time, I got a delivery to the hotel. Fantastic food, early delivery, and food was piping hot. Recommend the homemade Kofta. I'll be back later in the year and will be ordering again..

Just happened to wander into this great pizza place. Excellent food, very good value for money. a must-must place to get pizza chicken sides etc.

Having recently moved to the area we have tried a number of curry houses. Himalayan restaurant was by far the best of any of them. We really enjoyed the curry, momos, and the other items we ordered. The chapati's were super light and soft. The beers were reasonably priced & it's a nice little restaurant. We are really glad to have found our local for both takeaway and eat in. There are curries on the menu that we haven't tried before, So lots of choice.

had a lovely roast beef and roast chicken with real ale and friendly service. good range of beers on draught

The food was excellent! I had paneer pizza and it was cooked perfectly. The service was wonderful. I highly recommend Rocco's!

Under new management and staff, thank God. Large range available for a smallish cafe. Order taken by a very pleasant person. Breakfast beautifully presented and delicious and very reasonably priced. Coffee also excellent. Homemade cakes too , perfect.
