The best restaurants in Surrey Heath South East

We come here very often for breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to James the chef and Sarah on front of house, who both work in the morning. Fantastic breakfast cooked by James rated 10/10 by my children, and a shout out to Sarah for her excellent customer service. Highly recommend

Eaten here for years. Never had anything bad. Pizzas are on point. Probally my favourite pizzas.

Lovely spot for lunch to watch the planes if you have a couple of days on your hands, service was incredibly slow despite it not being particularly busy. Would recommend getting your order in the day before! When the food finally arrived almost an hour after ordering it was overpriced rubbish. If we had been warned it would be been over an hour for a cheese toastie and a dismal fry up we wouldn’t have bothered.

We have recently moved into the area and thought we would try out this Indian as a takeaway . Well well well…. What an awful idea that was, a complete waste of our NYE, says when we order that it will be 1hr 10min wait time ( totally understandable due to it being NYE) however it gets to 2hr later and no food has arrived. I call them and get a very shouty man saying “ we are busy - u have to wait” - we eventually get our food 2hr 15 mins later ( for the inconvenience he “kindly” gives us a free… bottle of coke…. Surely we expect more than that for waiting 2hours) however our food turns up but without our main meal. We then call them up and had to wait another hour for our main meal and the speaker on the phone would not allow us to have a refund. So to summarise this up for you guys. We have waiting 3hr 30mins for our food and all we got was a 1L bottle of coke for it. I’ll be honest food is bang average Think I’ve said enough….

Etter en hektisk morgen var vi ganske sultne og ville ha en rask, god lunsj. Vi valgte Chopstix og det angret vi ikke på. Nydelig glaserte kyllingbiter i forskjellige smaker, sammen med ris eller nudler. Det var bedre enn det kan høres ut som, og vi må faktisk dit til lunsj i dag også.

First visit. Very lovely welcome. Good food. We had lasagne and a roast beef both were good. Will visit again.

The Three Mariners will always have a special place in our hearts—it’s where we had our first date, and now it’s where we celebrated our wedding reception! The team were amazing from start to finish—friendly, helpful, and totally relaxed, which made the whole day stress-free. They kindly let us bring our own food, and everything ran so smoothly. The pub has such a warm, welcoming vibe and our guests absolutely loved it. Thank you for helping make such an important day feel so easy and memorable. We couldn’t have picked a better place!

Watching football and drink beer and cocktails.

I normally eat at this KFC and have not had any problems before but last Friday we arrived at around 10pm and there were still people inside but the doors were now closed and we tried to go around and find people to open the doors but they did not address that people were going around looking for somebody to let us in. The site said it closed at 12 so we were eager to have something that we were craving that night in the restaurant. Long story short, we ended up getting a drive thru as they did not open the doors. There were kids on the drive thru ordering on foot as they weren't let in as well. Ended up going home after ordering and it wasn't the same experience of what you had planned on eating at the resto so it was kinda mid rating for me. Hopefully if they do plan on closing early to change the times on the site. Thank you.

Great food - me and a friend were catching up over a meal and the food here was excellent - hosted by Roy who was helpful throughout we enjoyed it !

I was around the vicinity so I gave it a try at Gourmet Oriental. Really so many choices on their menu, I like the Seafood varieties. However I tried the Sweet Sour Pork Cantonese style, it was really nice, not too sweet, crispy n not coloured sauce. It would be better if it was more meaty. I had a Phad Thai fried Rice noodles. It was surprisingly bright orange, unsure 🤔 unlike what I always had. It was tasty with lots of shrimps n sauce. Nxt had a recommended Szechuan Crispy Beef, a popular order but not my favour. It was nice n crunchy, sweet again with tiny sliver of beef that had taken by its batter.. I will go back for takeaways again perhaps more with the other Chinese Seafood dishes.

We had a delightful afternoon tea experience, made even more special by our incredibly attentive waiter Arish . The sandwiches and cakes were fresh and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was charming and relaxing. A special thanks to Arish for his warm and thoughtful service which truly elevated the experience for us . Highly recommend!

I had the same experience regarding the cash only issue. They clearly are playing the system as they used to take credit cards and now they dont. I'll use somewhere else in future.
