Such good food at this curry house - can’t believe it’s not busier. Roy is an excellent waiter, also working at Pennyhill Park. Great refurb - give it a go

Food quality excellent - veg pakora and sheesh kebab were superb. Portions large so should have shared one between us. I had the railway curry which again, was excellent. Service good and liked the traditional music.

Right, I’m all for supporting local businesses. So went to this place in a big group. Beware they are con artists and will cheat you with the price of drinks if you don’t check. Check everything on your bill. £8.90 for a glass of coke. I asked why and they said mistake. But our group was cheated several times. When we asked for a plastic takeaway box because we had ordered too much food…they slyly charged us £5.95 a box! Don’t go here. Horrible people . Crooks.

Absolutely my worst ever experience of a restaurant. Totally ripped off. A Diet Coke £11!!!!! Service charge in the middle of the bill but at the end of the bill it says no service charge! Food was terrible. The man there was in our faces and argumentative never again. It makes me give a star but I wouldn’t give it any!

Very nice meal served by the excellent Roy who advised on choices. Smart décor and easy parking. Plenty of menu choice.

The food and service was excellent and we were well looked after by our friendly waiter Roy who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. All the food is cooked fresh and the menu is varied and interesting. Nimontron is well worth a visit and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Blown away by the quality of the food here especially the fresh ingredients. I got the true authentic Indian taste here instead of the sweet curries that most other eateries do. The peshwarri naan was excpetionally hot and fresh it tasted like a warm coconut cake almost. Popped in by accident but we will be regularly revisiting again. Also the service was outstanding.

Been waiting for this place to reopen as the food was amazing previously, even better now avd can’t recommend it enough. We had excellent service from Roy, who was so attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was fantastic and had kept up its tasty selection, can recommend the prawn puri starter and railway chicken. Will be back again soon

Me and my partner came here on Saturday night, was AMAZING the food was beyond tasty the portion sizes were huge. We were recommended what to have for starters and mains it’s always great to try new stuff. The service was great really friendly great to hear about the history of the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back again 😊

So nice to see this open under new management with some of the original Ancient Raj staff. Food was excellent and enough a a refurb to give it a new vibe. Only thing is to get their sound sytem up and running so there’s some background music.

They were open to have a friendly chat and made us feel at home. Where do I even start with the food!! This is no word of a lie, NIMONTRON was one of the best curry’s I have ever had. Recently I have been disappointed with the Indian takeaways in the local area, with it feeling like portion sizes are getting smaller, taste getting duller, whilst the prices increase. This is not the case at nimontron. Our food was served piping hot in a deep dish bowl with enough food for leftovers and the naan, just WOW! I’m a sucker for a peshwari naan, but lately I’ve gone off them because it seems like most Indian restaurants cut corners and get packet ones to just heat up when serving to customers. This was not the case at NIMONTRON. I had to double check Because of how shocked I was at how good this naan was. The naan was thick, with the right amount of crunch to pull and the inner filling was to die for. You could instantly tell this was homemade in the kitchen. Evidently shown by the perfect imperfections of each edge and how it felt to touch. In conclusion, I couldn’t really fault anything about this Indian restaurant and would recommend to everyone. This restaurant has recently reopened and we were there on the second night of opening and we will definitely be returning. The food was superb, we chose the recommended dishes from Roy who works there and we were not disappointed. The manager was charming and friendly, Roy was very helpful with his food tips and service. We would recommend you give it a try. This week they’re offering 50% off so we were even more delighted when we saw the bill.

A new store opened in Frimley and I thought I’d try it out. I didn’t know what I wanted to takeaway so I asked for a house specialty and got treated to an off-menu and homemade Beef Makhani. Boss threw in a papadum, garlic naan, pilau rice and mint yogurt sauce for £19.95. What a treat, and the smell was incredible! If I can get it again, I will ask to make it hotter next time cause I think it would taste epic with a good pack of heat. I will be back, also I think some music in the restaurant would add to the atmosphere

Give this restaurant a wide berth, ordered at 5.30pm food turned up at 7.15pm. Tried to call the restaurant on either of the two phone numbers, phone just rung and rung. Definitively WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN - JOKE 😡😡😡

Takeaway via Uber. Firstly took an hour and 45 mins despite only being a relatively smal order. Popadoms awful not crispy tasted a week old. Onion Bhaji’s inedible so burnt. 3 main dishes tasted like out of a jar with onions as big as your lips not bothered to make. Had to make 3 calls to see where food was. Takeaways are supposed to be a treat. Hopefully this was a one off as place has good reviews. Hate to pass on a bad one as the industry is struggling but this is what happened.

Ordered at 18:20, told would be there 7:10 latest, rang at 7:30 they said they would chase where it was, got delivered at 8:35, over 2 hours late. Their delivery driver didn’t even say sorry, he gave it to me and left quickly as if he knew. Opened it up and cold, horrible experience.

Unfortunately, after ordering food at 5.15pm yesterday, with an expected wait of 45mins for delivery, I called to find out where it was and was told it had left the restaurant and would be with me shortly, this wasn’t true, the food finally arrived after 1 hour 30 mins, cold, not particularly good and no satisfactory resolution offered. Disappointing on quality and customer service.

We ordered a few weeks ago and due to technical problems our food arrived really latex the next day, Hassan the manager rang me and apologised promising a discounted meal the next time we ordered. We just ordered again today and the delivery was right on time with a complementary extra dish added. The food was very tasty and plentiful. Thank you Hassan for a lovely service…we will continue to return.🙌

2 hours to receive a takeaway delivery. Tried to phone the restaurant 9 times to find out what was going on but no answer. This is the second time in 4 weeks that they have let us down. Will not be using them again.

Ordered for a LAMB dum biryani and an egg fried rice....but it was not at all a biryani, forget the dum. Absolutely no flavor of biryani. It was more like a rice and boiled lamb curry mixed together. No flavour at all. And by the way who adds spring onions in a biryani!! Raita was like a mint flavored sweet yoghurt. Haven't touched the fried rice yet..maybe not. Pls you guys are giving a bad name to an Indian Restaurant. #7834 order number.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Order kept being delayed further and further. They simply do not answer the phone. No communication at all. The food was cold and not good. Just lost a customer, won’t be returning.

We’re still waiting for food. The restaurant isn’t responding. We’ve had to eat the other takeaway as all we’d orders was 1 x main and rice…now an hour late and we have no idea if it’s coming or not

I have always ordered from nimartron via Uber eats however for the past 5+ orders the delivery time has been horrendous. This time it was over an an hour late from the expected delivery time of 50 mins. In total we waited over 2 hours! This has happened too many times to be an accident. They don’t answer the phone for an update and when do they cut you off because they can’t give you an ETA - Stay away from ordering take away from them. Poor customer service and even poorer delivery.

Over 2 hours for delivery, look at the mixed grill that was delivered! Disgusting and awful quality. I would stay away from this place. I called 25 times and they didn’t answer the phone.

Only giving 1 star as the food was ok. I ordered through just eat at 18.50 to collect as it was 30 minutes for me to collect or 45-60 minutes for delivery. 3 minutes later I received a call from, I assumed was the manager, he told me that I could not collect because they have locked the doors and that they would deliver instead. I told him I didn’t want that as the time was too long, he assured me that it wouldn’t take that long and the timing would be the same as if I was to collect so I said that would be fine. At 19.36 I phoned the mobile number that I was previously called on to ask where our food was, there was no answer, I tried the business number that I found on their website and that again had no answer, eventually at 19.39 someone answered. I asked where our food was and he told me that it had just left with his driver. I told him that I was told by the first guy that our food wouldn’t take that long otherwise o would have gone somewhere else, he started over talking me which made me angry. I told him that by the time the driver delivered the food it would be over the 60 minutes delivery time that was quoted by just eat originally. He proceeded to over talk and said ok I will cancel then which I told him I did not want, I told him I wanted my food still but that I was not happy about the time it has taken. He continued to talk over me and in the end I hung up. Eventually the driver turned up at 20.10. 1 hour and 10 minutes after I ordered. The food turned up Luke warm but edible. It wasn’t the best I’ve had but it also wasn’t the worse. The customer service was awful and for that reason I would NEVER order from here again

Eating alone as wife had friends over so decided to try this restaurant, bearing in mind newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes so can be hit and miss food wise. Railway curry was just.. well whats the superlative… lovely will do. Will treat my family to dinner here soon !!!

I have ordered from here several times times through Deliveroo, they always exceeded the estimated delivery time by 30 minutes. I enjoyed some of their dishes, so I just went with it. However, this time I had to wait over an hour. After waiting 45 minutes AFTER the estimated delivery time I called the restaurant. The lady who answered didn't seem to care that my order hadn't arrived yet and asked me to wait longer. I called back after 15 minutes saying I didn't want my order anymore and she said they couldn't get in touch with the driver. She suggested that they could re-make my order and have that sent out again. I declined and asked for a refund as I would then have to wait even longer. I placed my order at 17:28, and by now it was 19:11. She said they don't handle refunds and that I would have to get in touch with Deliveroo. When chatting with Deliveroo they said they would have to confirm with the restaurant, and said when they called the restaurant they said that they were remaking my order. I was really angry at this point. I tried to clarify with Deliveroo telling them that I declined the new order and asked the restaurant for a refund at which they advised I contact Deliveroo. So I asked Deliveroo to stand by while I attempted to call Nimontron to sort it out. I called three times and no one ever answered. Deliveroo then tries to call them again, and still no one answers. So now I have to wait 72 hours for Deliveroo to sort it out. Don't waste your time with this restaurant. I have called before when other orders were late and usually a man would answer, he had a terrible attitude and never seemed apologetic at all. This place is the worst.

Horrible restaurant. Slap on face by the name of Indian restaurant as no way even close to Indian cuisine. DO NOT TAKE FOOD HERE THINKING INDIAN.

MUST avoid, do not waste your time and money at this place. We visited this place for dinner with 4 families (16 guests) but our experience was so bad and even kids were also not happy with food. This is no where closely related to the Indian food. I am sure it is not Indian but disguised 🥸. Served Chicken wings for chicken 🍗 lollipops. Dal Makhani doesn’t look/taste like Dal at all. Any recipe of Dal Makhani which usually include black lentil and kidney beans (Rajma) but here it was some random lentil with loads of turmeric to stain- very very disappointed!! Lastly, Even though we were the only one in the restaurant but still food was served in about 50-60 min, kids were very annoyed - frustrated slow service

Ordered from Nimontron (for the second time). The first time the food was over an hour delayed took approximately 1:30 to be delivered but in fairness it was warm on arrival and really good quality. This evening when I ordered I made a mistake on the order. Having placed the order late to make sure the restaurant wasn't busy and I wouldn't be waiting for an age, I was called up by the restaurant saying the delivery driver was unavailable and could I collect instead? Figured the food was pretty good last time so I'd go ahead and collect. Upon arrival, I noticed one of the dishes was wrong (this was my mistake) the other two were correct. I spoke to the restaurant and let them know I was still outside and would it be possible to place another order for one of the dishes that I wanted. I'd made sure they were aware I was going to be paying for this, but I didn't want the biriani as I already had a rice dish - I even offered for them to give it to the staff as it was unopened and about 10 minutes from closing. He then let me know that the chef had already left (he hadn't, I watched him leave about 2 minutes after) and went on to condecendingly tell me how good the biriani is and that I'm going to love it.... Just incase I didn't know what I'd ordered? In the end, I'd reitterated that I wouldn't be eating it and it will go to waste, he can have that dish back and give it to the staff. He continued to explain how good the dish is... "two ears one mouth" Sadly, this guy wasn't listening and kept blabbering on. On my first order, the delivery driver was extremely polite and apologetic about the delay so I thought "fair play, will give them another go". Second time round, the manager* was too happy to point out my mistake that I'd already admitted to. Really poor service but the food is decent. Won't be ordering there again. *I assume he was the manager as he claimed to be the only person left in the restaurant 10 minutes before they actually closed. Food 4/5 Service 1/5

Went on New Year's eve for a meal and it was horrendous. Two families four adults four kids. Starters were slow coming out. Had two rounds of drinks before the starters arrived. When they did arrive they were over cooked and burnt. It was not very busy for New Year's eve night in the restaurant, however it seemed priority was for take away and JustEat brigade because they spent most of the evening taking orders whilst our party sat waiting to place orders for drinks and food. Customers came sat, eat and left whilst we still waited for our mains. Tipping point was when waiter eventually came out of the kitchen with our food on a trolley then stopped to answer the phone yet again, whilst our food sat on a trolley. Enough already. You can't prioritise the customers at home in their slippers over the ones that have come out to sit in your establishment on New Year's eve. We decided not to bother with it in the end. We paid a ridiculous price for the starters and drinks turned the food away. Laughable way to run a business...

I had such an amazing take away from here. Everything had so much flavour and really good quality, Strongly recommend the Naga chicken it was great. Cannot wait to have another take away from here or even eat in.

Order was an hour late, even after I phoned to enquire when it was about half an hour late, and was told it was on its way and would be with us "soon". Minimal apology from restaurant and driver (though he did accept it was his fault). Below Average, Okish restaurant. Pepper chicken was good so as daal and rice. Rests were ok to bad to worse.

I understand that orders go wrong but tonight I am very annoyed at the service. We ordered on line. An hour half later nothing arrived I phoned to ask about my order. I was promised it was on its way. Another hour past, it didn't arrive. I phoned again. The gentleman said he would check and left me waiting on the phone a good 20 minutes. So my partner phoned and was told it was out for delivery. I was still waiting for him on the other line so my partner told him this and asked why I was still waiting. To cut a long story short, they had not processed our order although it was paid for. So my partner collected our order half an hour later but not everything we ordered was there. No rice and no coconut ice cream. No sorry from them or any offer if compensation, not even a few poppadoms! This resturant is expensive and we use them often but I think not any more. I am very disappointed.

Disappointing. Food took over an hour and a half to arrive after ordering. Poor customer service on the phone when called to find out ETA, I was just left on the phone while the staff continued a conversation in the background for 5 minutes then got hung up on. When finally arrived food was not amazing, decent tasting curry but naan was too thick and stodgy and vegetable side dish was undercooked (almost raw)

I visited Nimontron on Saturday evening with friends and had a wonderful evening.The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for our waiter he was very attentive and helpful . I was pleasantly surprised with the menu as it offers a number of dishes that I hadn't seen before at other Indian restaurants. We did try some of these dishes along side some old favourites and they were all absolutely delicious everything was very tasty. If your looking for a good Indian restaurant with good food then you should definitely give Nimontron a try.

My wife and I have had a few takeaways from here now and they have been consistently good. We usually go for the Chicken Biryani and Lamb Naga as we love spicy food - the Lamb is particularly delicious. Definitely recommended!

Our first trip to this local restaurant will Not be our last. The staff were welcoming, the food was fresh and very tasty. They had a good few staple Indian dishes we love as well as a few we had not heard of that we tried and loved. We would highly recommend this friendly Indian restaurant and will be back soon with friends.

First things first: the food is excellent. Very well cooked and spiced curries, good breads and side dishes, no complaints there. I placed an online order for delivery when the restaurant opened at 5:30 only to be phoned 30 minutes later to be told that they had no mushrooms to prepare a mushroom rice. Understandable at last sittings but when the restaurant has just opened is poor. Send someone across the street to the one stop if you need mushrooms. I was given a pilua rice but never offered the difference in price as a refund. It was pennies but the principal annoyed me. But the point that ensured they'll not be getting my future custom was to pay £5 for a portion of onion bahji only to discover you have to buy mint sauce on top. Let's be clear here: their prices are top dollar compared to other local restaurants - £10 for a chicken curry which arrived with only 5 pieces of meat. So to sum up, good quality food but it'll not be going back until they offer better value for money.

I will come back and give this restaurant a better review as and when they stop charging large amounts of money for the bits of onion and pickle that accompany the poppodums! They don't ask, they don't tell you, they just bring you them. Then, if you check the bill, you find they've charged you for them. Not good - in fact, quite deceptive. I won't be going back unless they cnage this dishonest practice. Caveat Emptor!

Bloody awesome curry. I hate to say it but better than The Raj that went before it. I will reserve further judgement as it was a Thursday night at the end of November. If they can do that on a busy night them I'm fully sold.

My friends and I went to the ancient raj and enjoyed a delicious meal. Presented beautifully and when one of the dishes was not to my friends liking, a new dish was provided at no extra cost. Always a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Visited for dinner on Wednesday 10th July. Great to see my old friend Roy in the front of house. Food was excellent from start to finish and service impeccable as you would expect. Going back for more when next in Frimley.

Fantastic flavoursome curries, and quick delivery after ordering over the phone. Highly recommended.
