This is my first time visiting Mogul, after the restaurant was recommended to me quite a few times. Baba is an amazing host, so friendly and kind with a great attitude. His team are excellent and friendly too. This is the sort of place where the service will always be top notch. This is easily the best curry house I’ve been to! The food was outstanding each dish was full of so much flavour 10/10. We will definitely be coming back soon to see Baba and his team. THANK YOU!

Food was very average. I’ve given this place the benefit of the doubt a couple of times now but their dishes are very sweet and lack spice/depth of flavour The owner was more interested in standing talking to me and my mum about how much money he’s earnt buying and selling the place three times, Bagshot seriously needs a decent curry house, will go to favourites in Sunninghill in future I rarely leave bad reviews unless it’s necessary, I just feel people need to know about the food quality in here

Myself and my family had a very enjoyable evening at Mogul, the service was fast and professional and the food was lovely. We had a range of traditional dishes and myself and my family were all individually impressed with the quality, taste and portions of the food. A really nice, local Indian restaurant! Definitely recommend!

We went back recently for dinner and it was another excellent meal. The owner is fab and you can tell he has a passion for his restaurant and making sure everyone leaves happy. We didnt book (which was risky for a Sat night) but they put us at a lovely quiet table. The food is great, a lovely mix of styles of curry and they were able to make something for me that wasn't on the menu. But the real treat is the owner, his energy and kindness is wonderful.

We had an amazing dinner at the Mogul tonight. The manager is excellent and so is his well trained team 👏. The food and service was spot on. If I were to pick on something it would be the pudding 🍮. You can do a lot better to compliment your meal. Five star for food and service Three stars for dessert 🍨

After driving past The Mogal for a number of years, we unexpectedly stopped here for dinner. The decor is clean,suitably colourful, and warm. The food is amazing, with beautiful aromas and extremely well presented. Onion is used minimally to compliment the food (not as a cheap filler like many restaurants) With friendly, knowledgeable staff, amazing food and setting. Would come back in a heartbeat.

We live in the area but went there for the very first time yesterday evening even though the business has been running for 44 years. The owner is very charming and gave his personal touch. Food was of high quality and well cooked plus attention to detail with service and settings just made it all a wonderful culinary experience. The menu is vast and portion size big without compromising on quality. We have been searching for a good Indian for some time since the quality of our local I Dian restaurants have gone downhill so this restaurant is a great find and we shall definitely be back and recommend friends too. The popaddam was the best we have ever tasted and for a foodie like me it’s just a wonderful experience. All in all highly recommend this place and thank you again to the charming and hospitable owner.

A lovely family meal with great service and great food! We were staying at PennyHill Park and didn’t fancy anything in the restaurant so thought we’d try The Mogul. Staff were lovely, very welcoming as soon as we walked in. My sister is dairy free and they catered for her very easily and willingly, which we all very much appreciated. Food was lovely, all very tasty meals. Definitely recommend chicken / prawn bhuna and the sizzling beef. Naan bread was also great, not like I’ve had before where you seem to get full up after a couple mouthfuls! Was very light and easy to eat. I went for the first time to catch up with a friend I haven't seen in ages. She suggested it and she was right. The staff are so friendly and efficient and the food was DIVINE. I had lamb saag and keema rice and it was so tasty and very well portioned! I ended up taking it home. I will definitely be back here again and bring my family and other friends. 10/10 all around!!

I had been to Mogul years ago with my family so decided to try it out again this evening for my 30th birthday with my partner. My partner had the honey chicken which he stated was absolutely amazing. I had the tandoori chicken morisa which did have a kick to it, but was so delicious, I would highly recommend. We were treated to complimentary onion bhajis and a shot of Baileys. The staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back. Thank you 😁

Amazing food, full of flavour, piping hot (plates also hot). Wonderful service our host Amin was extremely courteous and helpful, nothing was too much. No rushing gave us time in between courses. Very welcoming, we will definitely be going again and encouraging our friends to go.

I woul say this place is the best indian ive ever had. (And ive had a lot all over the uk) I had the chicken tikka main and a seperate madras sauce. My partner had chicken saag. We had mushroom rice and garlic and keema naan. It was perfect The house red wine was only £16.95 a bottle and was lovely. They gave us baileys and crushed ice complimentary after our meal. Hi, a group of us went to Moguls For dinner yesterday and All honesty is probably one of the best Indians we have been to. Walking into the restaurant, you’re greeted like a friend. The menu is vast, Allowing even Indian loving friends A great choice as well. I had a lamb Buna and it was fantastic.

Me and my friends had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant, and what truly set it apart was the amazing owner. Their warmth and hospitality elevated the entire evening. The food was superb, but the personal touch from the owner made it exceptional. It's rare to find such dedication to customer satisfaction. Five stars for both the delicious cuisine and the outstanding owner. Thank you for making my birthday even more special :) we will definitely be back !

We have been coming to The Mogul in Bagshot for last 20 years. We stopped here on way home. We have always enjoyed the authentic and high equality meals, they are faultless. It's, not just the meal, it's also the lovely restaurant, but the customer service, the welcome is the standard for all other restaurants to aspire to, you will always be treated as a guest, the owner is real people person, great hospitality... Best curry around! Went out on a Sunday night. Our waiter was named Amin. Such a great guy with amazing customer service. Always coming to check up on us, make sure we had drinks. The food was delicious. Amin brought our starters that were so good I could’ve had 10 of them. When the mains came out was even more impressed, food came out as quick as it could, was absolutely delicious. Amin again with his amazing customer service came to make sure everything was there, and it all was, he was such a friendly man. Will definitely be going to The Mogul again in the near future and I hope to have Amin as my waiter again

Although we live in a village nearby, we never tried the Moghul until this evening when we passed it in a long traffic jam. We decided to give it a try on our way back. We were warmly welcomed inside. Because we had not planned to eat out, we decided to just order a take away. Whilst waiting for our food, Baba, who introduced himself as the current owner give us a quick rundown of the history of the Moghul in Bagshot. The food was good and we were well pleased. We shall be back!

We have just had the most amazing food. We called in hoping to get a table and to our shock the place had loads of empty tables so we sat down and hoped we would have a good experience. I thought I’d pop in as I was in the area and I must say, I am not disappointed! From the menu selection, to the food quality, to the service from the team, there isn’t really anything I can fault. The biryani was probably the most flavoursome biryani I’ve had in the last 20 years, and that’s saying something! Tried this restaurant and the biryani was not authentic at all . Biryani which is cooked in layers after the meat is cooked . It’s a long process to cook authentic Biryani so these guys mixed lamb curry with colored rice and served it as Biryani . If you know your authentic Indian food you’ll be disappointed. Their chicken masala was tandoori chicken pieces put into a sauce and cooked . Again not authentic as this is supposed to be cooked with raw chicken in order to infuse the layers of spices. Mixed grill was okay . Karahi chicken was not cooked from scratch as this dish requires raw chicken to be cooked with minimal spices and tomatoes constantly stirred until the water from the chicken vanishes . We ended up with a semi dry curry nothing like a Karahi dish. Not many Bengali or Indians can cook the authentic Karahi dish. . It had no authentic Karahi chicken taste. Owner seems too busy bragging whilst customers wait without realizing that in our case we are excellent chefs in Indian cuisine ourselves and yes we can cook authentic dishes. It’s no good telling me what famous people have eaten at your place because it’s meaningless to me who has eaten there and it says nothing about the food . Owner did not realize that we were retired previous owners of a five star top class Indian restaurant and we know our authentic food . The chairs are old and worn out and the place inside needs some investment. Not a place I would visit again and the dishes all taste the same because the same sauce is being used to make the dishes .

Its been a while since I've been, as I've been working away for past few months. A friend had just got engaged, and it was her choice of venue. Service and food, exemplary as usual. A little quite being midweek in the current financial climate, but I'm happy with that, given the occasion, we were catching up. Now I'm back home working locally, we will be a regulars again.

I don’t usually write reviews but the food is so amazing, I decided to take the time and write this. My husband and I have visited a few times now and the food has always been delicious. The staff are always very friendly, highly attentive and without rushing you. The portion sizes are generous too so you feel like you get a lot for your money. It is my favourite restaurant by far. There just isn’t anywhere else around where they make you feel so welcomed.

Visited for the first time but definitely not the last time. Exceptional customer service, we were called Mr Young Man and Mrs Young Lady, greeted by a hand shake. The food was excellent. Great selection of vegetarian dishes. My lamb passanda was cooked to perfection with just a tad hot spice added as requested. Our glasses were always full with a member of staff being available at all the times. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place. You'll not be disappointed!

This is the best Indian I have tasted in a very long time! As you enter you are warmly greeted by the owner. His brother is the chef. The food is superb, well presented. and reasonable.
