Having recently moved to the area we have tried a number of curry houses. Himalayan restaurant was by far the best of any of them. We really enjoyed the curry, momos, and the other items we ordered. The chapati's were super light and soft. The beers were reasonably priced & it's a nice little restaurant. We are really glad to have found our local for both takeaway and eat in. There are curries on the menu that we haven't tried before, So lots of choice.

Claim to be open but will not take an order A week later decided to give them another chance: Website order rejected as the restaurant didn't respond rang 12 times and they didn't reply! Drive down there, restaurant empty and of the 12 items on my order they couldn't do 6 of them - no lamb, butter chicken impossible. Really, don't waste your time! This restaurant deserves to go bust and we can get a decent one in its place!!!

We had a party of 28 for our July Charity ‘Surrey Heath Age Concern’s’ monthly Curry Club, at the Himalayan Frimley, and it was a wonderful evening. The welcome and service provided by Purnima and team was excellent. We were made to feel so at home by them and our event has a fabulous atmosphere. Their Momos were out of this world, truly delicious, as were other starters and the main course curries and all the accompaniments were very tasty, beautifully presented and went down a treat. There was a focus on Nepalese cuisine too for the evening as part of the party atmosphere. We will definitely be back for another event, but thank you again to Purnima and all the team for a fabulous evening and great Curry evening.

My wife and myself visited for an evening meal and despite the lack of reviews were really impressed by the quality of the cooking .Having been to Nepal myself I can say that the Momos were excellent and the Onion Bharjis were not greasy and very well cooked and presented. The cost v the quality was excellent value and the Gurka Beer was well worth the £4.95 for a 660ml bottle. Most the business was take out as there were only us and another couple in the restaurant on a Saturday night but what it lacked in atmosphere it more than made up in flavour and great cooking .Will return!!

An empty restaurant didn't bode well and during our time we saw three takeaway collections but no other diners. A 35 minute wait after ordering our meal before the starter arrived and then another 20 minute wait for the main. Starter of Momo's and Samosas were lovely. Although advertised as 6 Momo's only 5 were given. Two of the main meals were luke warm and we sent it back to be re heated which then turned out a bit dry. Tandoori Chicken and Ribs were lovely and hot and therefore assume first two dishes were cooked and waited for the second two to be cooked. Food quite tasty but ruined by the wait and final finish.

Whenever we visit our son we treat ourselves to a meal from Amish. Having eaten there when it was a sit down restaurant we continued to have take away food and have not have been disappointed. We had Chicken Passanda, Lamb Sag and Lemon rice. The portions were generous with plenty of meat. Looking forward to our next meal!
