The best restaurants in Sholing Southampton South East

Would not have eaten here if I had known before ordering that they had no pork, no guacamole, no chips (run out of bags!!). As a shorter person I also found the ordering difficult as the counter acted as a sound barrier between me and staff member (and it is located in a noisy food court anyway). The chicken burrito I ate tasted great and the disposable packing was minimal.

I have just had a delivery of 2 pizzas one was a Patrony’s deep pan the other was a Meat Eater again deep pan. I have never been so disappointed the toppings were sparse some areas of the Pizza’s had nothing on. I know times are difficult but this is really short sited. I for one will not be ordering from them again.

We have been visiting Mettricks for a while now, as we live locally. It is the tastiest coffee in town and is roasted on site in the Portswood branch. The brunch menu is excellent and the staff are always welcoming. If you were visiting later in the day, I would highly recommend the beer that is also brewed onsite - it’s great quality.

Absolutely wonderful in all respects, food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, staff very friendly, helpful, and polite.

Honestly..I eat Asian food regularly..I thought I'll try this takeaway while I'm staying in Premier Inn Southampton..food didn't come till one and half hour..then everything was pretty cooked..no taste..chicken masala..someone just pure tin of tomato tin in it.no taste..rest of the food I can not describe..thanks

Estimate for delivery was 30 minutes, after an hour I called to enquire and was hung up on! How rude! Food eventually arrived and was definitely not worth waiting an hour and a half for! Avoid if yo you want your food this week!

First time ordering - food was tasty and hot when it arrived, all good!

We go here most Saturdays after Parkrun. It used to be great, but when the new provider took over, the service instantly got worse. It is awful. They try not to bring food and drink to your table, preferring to leave you waiting at or shouting out from the counter instead. The staff don't know the pricing and frequently mess up payment, they don't say hello or smile, and they regularly don't bring cutlery or sauces to the tables in the uncommon event that they do bring food out. It could be a very nice cafe if it was run with more care and attention to customer service.

Sobre todo buena comida, pero decepcionado por el plato principal de pollo tikka muy pequeño, que era mucho más de lo que cabría esperar como un entrante modesto. Bhajis excelente como siempre, pero solo relación calidad-precio media.

Can't say a bad word about this English pub.... Shame it I will get close down soon the rumour says.

We visited The Olive Tree around 8;30am and it was not that busy, but by the time we left just after 9am is was very busy. We ordered a tea, orange juice and 2 x mini breakfasts at the bar and got the drinks quickly. The breakfast was delivered to our table a few minutes later by a very friendly and helpful waitress. The food was good and the service efficient.

Comí aquí con mi esposa y mis dos hijas en un sábado lluvioso y húmedo. Pedimos comida y llegó 6 minutos más tarde. Las comidas de los niños tenían una buena relación calidad-precio y las disfrutaron.Pedí la chuleta de cerdo a la milanesa y era una pieza muy pequeña de cerdo frito y seco. ¡Había un poquito de ensalada de rúcula y me fui con hambre!Mi esposa tenía la hamburguesa vegana y que estaba bien.Teníamos una tarjeta de prueba donde podíamos tener 241 en la red eléctrica y la camarera dijo que no podíamos usarla, le preguntamos por qué, ya que la aplicación nos dijo que podíamos usarla un sábado, dijo que su gerente no había dicho descuentos este fin de semana. Pagamos la factura completa y nos fuimos.Nuestro camarero fue genial y muy atento toda la noche.
