Food terrible greasy and oily Meat tough Chicken smelled , rice and prawn smelled before I opened the pack. Absolutely disgusting rang them up and the owner said I will give you credit. What a load of nonsense, after waiting over 1hour 32 mins. Don’t waste ur money

Treat night curry, everything we ordered was as it should be,absolutely delicious, full of flavour, tasty heat & texture. Plentyful portions so enough for brunch! Having tried various other Curry houses in the local area, this was the best we've had in a couple of years.We will definitely be using this takeaway again.Has came along way since we last use it,as it did have a bit of a bad reputation, so keep it up,

OMG what a load of crap, 1st and last time. Ordered garlic chilli chicken Bombay potato mushroom rice butter chicken and plain rice. Garlic chilli chicken chicken was tough couldn't taste the spice of the chillies, the Bombay potato was plain and bland, the butter chicken was sweet with tough chicken... all put in the bin. It really pees me off paying for crap food. And the poppadoms were soft.

I would never use these again.... I have waited nearly 3 hours for my food to be delivered after being told it would only be an hour. So disappointing! 😤

We love this Indian takeaway and discovered it by chance when our usual takeaway was closed one night. Generous portions, piping hot, real Indian food. The raitha is real curd and the pickles a good addition. The onion bhaji are exceptionally good. There is so much on the menu that it makes your head spin but there's only been one item that we didn't like and that was Keema Naan. Otherwise, perfect food, good value.

Just want to say this takeaway is excellent value and superb food! Very well cooked and flavoured meals! Very polite delivery driver who remembers to shut the gate behind him! Thank you. Much better than Jalfrezy.

We had the Makhani King Prawn, tandoori mixed grill, Bombay potatoes, garlic and Peshawari Naan, Lamb Biryani, Samosas, Chips, poppadums. All arrived piping hot and perfectly cooked. Will order again.

after moving back to totton 14 months ago we've been looking for a tasty Indian take away. we've used a couple in totton but I have to say this was by far the most tastiest we have had. the onion bhajee were amazing. delivery was within the time stated and arrived hot.

Order 2 vegetarian set meals once received with in 5 mins of eating my partner and I where sick and suffered from Diarrhoea for 24hrs after with stomach cramps when approached for a refund this was refused luckily ordered through just eat who refunded in full.

This is also just down the road from me, and I've used them twice so far. Nice food, friendly, helpful staff and they deliver if I'm too tired (or too lazy to walk) I recommend this takeaway.

Very good value for money. The chef and staff are very good and polite. They will cook your dish in anyway you want. One of our favourites.

Absolutely tasteless mush. Late delivery against the published time, which got pushed back by 15mins anyway without any notification. Food was cold when it arrived. When I rang the restaurant to expedite progress, I was hung up on when trying to clarify timings (did they refer to the time the order would be leaving the shop or actually arriving st my door). Disgusting after taste next morning (and we couldn't even eat most of the food as it was too cold). Nan bread (that I didn't even order) was so under-cooked that it was still raw dough in the centre. I don't know what everyone else expects for a £60 take-away order? Maybe I set my sights too high??!! Stay away from this disaster of a restaurant would be my steer!!

Hadn't used for some time, but forgotten how good the food was, fantastic food. And cheaper than alot of Indian restaurants in Totton. Would definitely recommend

Chose the £21.50 meal for two and staff happily let you change the dishes as we are not fans of hot curries and do not eat red meat. Good value and tasty food.

Not the best I have tasted. Delivery is good. I haven't tried anything else so I'll try ordering different dishes and will see if the other dishes on their menu is better.

Llamó a las 07.15 horas, dijo curry sería una hora, pagamos por teléfono. 8.45 todavía no entrega, llamó y dijo que sería de 15 minutos, 45 minutos más tarde todavía no entrega, llamé de nuevo y todavía no podría decir cuánto tiempo va a ser. Pedimos un reembolso quedaron entregar el dinero y ni siquiera hecho... así que no, no habrá reembolso curry!!!!

Lovely food. Delivery is fast. Tasted fresh and spiced just right. Very courteous delivery man. I would be happy to order again.

Ordenados por primera vez desde Chili Tandoori y no será otra vez. Me dijeron que sería entrega 40-1 horas. Después de 1 h 15 todavía no entrega. Llamado a perseguir. Me dijeron que estaban esperando el conductor para regresar. 1 horas 40 minutos falta orden llegó un tema tuve que llamar de nuevo. Sé que los fines de semana está lleno, pero al menos ser honestos con sus clientes cuando les dan un tiempo de entrega. También muy mediocre, poco sabor a curry y carne duro.

Hicimos un pedido de entrega última noche en 1900 y me dijeron que serían 45 minutos a una hora. Después de 1.5 horas llamé para ver donde mi pedido y me dijeron que 10 minutos. Ninguna disculpa! Orden finalmente llegamos a las 9:00 de la tarde, por esta vez mis hijos estaban demasiado cansados para comer y lo que es peor, lo que hizo llegar tuvimos que meter en como estaba apenas tibia! Es una pena, ya que podría haber sido genial! No usar otra vez!

We have just finished another lovely meal delivered from the guys at chilli tandoori. We have used this takeaway for years, and have never been disappointed. Sometimes we ring chilli direct, other occasions we use "just eat", but every time the food arrives on time, is hot and tastes great. Of the many takeaways in the Totton area, this is the best. Personal favorites are lamb tika Pathia - rich and full of flavour, outstanding mushroom bhaji and special mixed biryani - plenty of meat and well cooked rice. As previously mentioned, we have used these guys for years and never had a bad experience, so not sure what some of the poor reviews are about. We will use again - probably tomorrow !

I ordered a delivery through "just eat." Been craving a Korma and bombay potatoes all day. Arrived on time (good),friendly driver (good), korma still hot (good)...rice, not my order. I phoned straight away and the guy said, "Well can't you just eat the rice." (No appology)."No. I'd like what I ordered please." "Oh. Well I'll send the driver back." (still no apology).I'll just wait till they replace it and have a beer. I couldn't resist starting the korma.An hour later and still no potatoes. Glad I started the Korma. I phoned again. "What? The driver has not come to your house yet?" (No appology)."No, I'm still waiting for my potatoes.""Oh. I will get the driver to call you." (No apology still).15 minutes goes by and the driver calls me to say he's on his way. By this point the remains of my Korma is cold and my beer has been drunk... OK beers.20 mins later he calls me. He's lost. I kindly waited for him at the end of the road. He found me.I'm sitting here with some piping hot bombay potatoes to compliment my now stone cold Korma delivered 2 and a half hours prior. And no beer. Or apology.I wish I liked rice.

We waited almost an hour and a half for our food which is totally unacceptable! We had to phone them three times and they kept saying it was coming! Not impressed! The only thing that saved them is that the food was excellent when it did arrive and everything was delicious! We will give them one more chance in the hope that this was an off day but otherwise we will have to go in search for another place in the area for our takeaways....

No only was our meal delivered an hour late, but the curry was running in water and we've never seen popodoms so burned - they were literally black on one side. This take away was recommended to us but we'll definitely never use them again.

I am not usually a curry fan but I have been converted. Me and my partner rarely have take-away but when we do we ALWAYS order from here. Our food has always been delicious, hot, arrived on time with friendly drivers. They have some interesting dishes neither of us have ever had like the pot choti (unsure of spelling)

My husband and I nearly always have a curry on a Saturday night. We have been using the Chilli Tandoori since it first opened in Totton precinct years ago. We always have the same curry and the staff know what we want as soon as we say our names. The food has always been lovely and the chef is always willing to make any adjustments eg: if you want it hotter than stated or less sweet. Also the guys who deliver the food are very pleasant no matter what the weather. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my curry.

Been going to them for years now as i really enjoy there food & service and after trying another indian take away in totton i though id finially write a review as i realised how great there actually are! I don't like spicey curry and there perfect so don't feel threaten by the red chilli ontop of the shop sign haha however people who do ive heard they top that side to well, ive only had a few problems in years! A couple of over cooke onion baljis but they are very sorry & happy to quicky replace if you phone them and mention it to them, always so friendly & quick with service would always recommend, after years of being a customer :)

I wrote the first review giving this takeaway restaurant top marks. However more recently it has gone downhill and my last order was very disappointing. Rice very overcooked - in fact we thought it was cous cous or polenta to look at. Onion bajias were overcooked, difficult to cut into, the Aloo sag was flavoured very strongly with something unidentifiable. and the pickles not such a good flavour. Overall, not an enjoyable meal. To be fair, maybe they had a temporary chef and it was a bad one-off but I'll only try one more time.

The food here is memorable. I was originally put off by the name "Chilli Tandoori" with a picture of lots of red chillies, not being a fan of very hot or the tandoori oven style of cooking. However, no problem. The choice of dishes is wide, with truly authentic flavours. Home delivery is efficient and prompt. A tip: when ordering side dishes, it's worth saying exactly how many you want eg. we wanted to share an assortment but got two of everything (maybe because we ordered two main dishes?). This made the order a bit more expensive than expected. Love it!
