Tandoori Station in Southampton

Honestly..I eat Asian food regularly..I thought I'll try this takeaway while I'm staying in Premier Inn Southampton..food didn't come till one and half hour..then everything was pretty cooked..no taste..chicken masala..someone just pure tin of tomato tin in it.no taste..rest of the food I can not describe..thanks

We had 2 tikka wraps and a tikka massalla for tomorrow. The wraps were fantastic, very filling and very tasty. Will definitely have them again

Quería probar este lugar debido a las cosas buenas que escuché, pero al recibir la comida era aguada y gruesa. Pedí una especia mediana y era más suave y muy soso, no tenía sabor y no volveré!

Food average, wouldn't say it was worth the money compared to other Indian restaurants it was like it was done on a budget. Small naan bread that didn't have the right texture. Mushroom fried rice with barely any mushrooms. The chicken korma tasted okay but there was barely any chicken. Delivery time when ordering said 30-40mins ended up being over an hour and food cold when arrived. Didn't have any direct contact with the restaurant but the delivery driver was very pleasant and polite just a shame about the food. Shall not be ordering from here again I will try somewhere else.

Used to love the food from here but over last few orders it has changed? Half tubs of chutney, pasanda tastes strange and the onion salad was 1/4 tomato, 2 slices cucumber, few shreds of lettuce and a slice of lemon?? No onion?

food wasn’t great.. onion bhajees were forgotten but when I rang the restaurant they did apologise and bought me some fresh ones, but obviously was annoying as it wasn’t with the rest of my meal. the onion bhajees were quite tasteless so probably won’t order from here again

Gorgeous meal. The korma was lovely and the chicken wasn’t pink inside like some restaurant’s. Will definitely be ordering again

Forgot main course item and side dish. Had to ring them, told the manager wasn't there so refund not possible. Eventually missing items arrived, after the meal was finished.

Rang them many times about food being late he had a proper bad attitude, when the food turned up it was hot so there was no way it was out with the driver for an hour like the shop said! Would never order here again poor service

the food was amazing but when I ordered at 6.20pm it gave me a delivery time of 7.30pm, the meal arrived at 8.30pm.

Really disappointed this time! As much as my curry was hot & tasty (no problem there) I ordered 4 poppadoms & what I got was 2 if that broken poppadoms, the chicken tikka starter was not a Tikka starter, the chicken was coated in breadcrumbs??? I’ve never seen a Tikka starter like that before, it must’ve been a different dish.. I don’t think I’ll order from here again, due to lack of care!

Average food delivered 35mins late, ~1h35 from order to delivery. Asked to run faster by driver. Save yourself time summon your food from the next dimension instead!

restaurant cannot read a simple note added to the order to assist the delivery driver in finding an address that can be quite tricky if you haven’t been there before. food never arrived. never contacted me to inform me of this and just took the order back to the shop. useless.

Very happy with tasty food, was 15 mins late, but it was Saturday night and we live a fair way from the regstaurant. Overall very happy and would order again.

Creo que el personal del bar que toma las órdenes es, en el mejor de los casos, un golpe de cabeza. Claramente la gente lo usa como un pub y los no habituales son empujados hacia un lado. Vamos a ir a otro lugar la próxima vez.

Stormy rainy night and the food was delivered lovely and early with a smile and a chat. The descriptions of the curries were accurate all of that was lovely and scrummy and just what we needed on a cold and stormy night. Will definitely be going back again thank you

Food was late and to be honest not that great . It was cold. The rice was really cold . Had a lot better from here and this has put me of enough not to bother using them again . Sorry.

absolute joke!! phoned restaurant after being 10 minutes late was told the driver had left 5 minutes ago. 50 minutes and a lot a calls to them still don’t have my order and asked me did I want to cancel? so waited 2 hours for a delivery I’m not going to get. annoyed isn’t the word!

We ordered two rice. We have just gone to finish our takeaway (the day after) and they didn’t deliver two rices. The other container which we thought was rice contained samosas and onion Bhaji, which we didn’t not order. The food was fantastic but the wrong order was disappointing.

6 star, amazing food as always and food waiting for me on the dot. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Cold food, poppadoms microwaved and yes being a chef I can tell, nanbread rock solid. Not sure how this take away has its good rating as food is vile and waste of money

First time I have used Tikka Station and after an issue where my original order was cancelled, we sorted it and found the food very good indeed. The meals were well cooked and the tikka was particularly flavousome. Will certainly use again#.

While food was a little late they did ring to explain why and so no problem as we were infirmed

The food arrived 30 minutes late and i then realised an item was missing and wr had been given something we didnt order. So i phoned and asked that they just come and collect the food and give me my money back because the rest of it would be cold. I waited half an hour and then rang them back, the man on the phone was so rude and basically tried to fob me off by telling me they were busy and to ring back later, he then couldnt tell me when i was going to get my money back. In the end I had waited so long I just threw out the food and called them to let them know they didnt need to come round. The gentleman on the phone was the person who had delivered the food and was way more polite and helpful then his colleague had been and said he would speak with the manager regarding the issue. The food is so nice and we order regularly, but some of the people who work there need a lesson on customer service and general manners!

Good food but chose 20 minute collection over 40 minute delivery. After order confirmed, collection changed to 45 minutes. 1 hour 30 minutes later we were still waiting in take away for food. Staff were rude an unapologetic. Not very nice people. Won't be ordering from here again

We have ordered from Tikka Station for ages now and have always accepted that they were 5/10 minutes late because we loved their food. However, after tonight we will never order from there again. Over an hour late and VERY rude when we called to ask where our order was and when it did finally arrive there were items missing. Very poor!

Ordered at 5pm for a 7.15 delivery, immediately went to 7.45. Food actually arrived at 9.10pm.

Food delicious. Highly recommended! Late delivery but its New Years Eve so its too be expected. Restaurant staff very polite and apologetic. Would order again. Thank you

Never did arrive; currently arguing with Just Eat on line trying to obtain a refund. You'd think it would be the least they could do! Won't ever use either again; can't tell you what I'd like to say about them

Took over 2 hours to arrive which was a bit frustrating as it meant we didn't eat until after 9pm, we've ordered from here many times and the food is always excellent and the delivery time is usually a little long, but rarely as long as this time

After being given our delivery time, nobody thought to tell us there was going to be another 30 minutes added. Ordered 2 Keema naans and both were plain. Prawn curry was more of a thin soup with no consistency. Made a big order and was pretty disappointed

The food was excellent; a little expensive by take-away norms but very enjoyable. The driver called to say he was struggling to find the house and to be fair it was a pig of a night weather-wise and I think we'd have struggled to find it too! We'll be back!

Terrible ! Especially as I rung the restaurant who said the food was on its way , 45 minutes later a girl turned up with it and said she had only just left the restaurant????

The food was the best quality i have had in a long time food taste great not lots of oil used will 100% order again cant find any faults with it.

Nice indian food, but extremely long delivery time(2 hours).

Delivered over an hour late Chicken tikka Madras appeared like standard chicken Madras, onion rice didn't appear to have any onion in it and 2l coke was only 1.75l. The food quality was ok but not quite what I ordered and very late.

Great food but not consistent with the last two orders .Food was a bit late and rice was cold so had to reheat unfortunately but thats a minor thing really to be honest .Still happy .Good Curry house on the whole .

Order never delivered - waited until half an hour after estimated delivery time, was told it had just left. Waited another half an hour and called again - they just said same thing. I said it must be cold if he's taking this long to drive it up the road. He promised it was with the driver and would be there soon. Complained with Just Eat and restuarant owner told the Just Eat member of staff they never received our order! Abhorrent liars - keep away

Ordenado a las 6: 30. Nada a las 8 pm. Les dio un anillo y dijeron que la orden acaba de salir. 8: 30 pm todavía nada (vivo a 1 minuto en coche). Volvió a sonar y le PROMETARON que la comida estaba con el conductor. Escalado a Just Eat, con quien hice el pedido, y cuando llamaron al restaurante, ¡se les dijo que NUNCA RECIBIERON mi pedido! El frente de ellos!Básicamente, si desea esperar por 2 horas sin absolutamente nada, se lo pueden decir sin más y se queda sin opciones para su cena, ya que todo estará cerrado cuando haya terminado con ellas, luego ordene con este abominable restaurante.

Half an hour late. Called up to chase and didn't even get to give the name of the order before abruptly told that it had just left and hung up on. The food was edible but with service like that, not interested in repeat custom.

Delivery late, when phone 15 minutes after delivery time was told was on it's way - half an hour later for a 10 minute journey still nothing. Phoned back to be told "it's on it's way, bye" No apology or anything. Disgraceful service and plain rude.

delivery driver told us that they couldn’t fulfill part of the order. he said that they had tried to call and tell us but we didn’t miss any calls. not a great service

I work in a kitchen, one of the boys told me to try this place today so I did, IT IS BANGING! Tandoori chicken to die for, perfect naans, bhaji on point, samosas perfect. Mrs is away so I'll probably order again tomorrow.

You can't take away from the fact that the food is amazing

La única razón para dejar caer una estrella fue que fue más tarde de lo que se dijo en la entrega. La comida real estaba caliente y deliciosa, todos los popadoms estaban aplastados, pero esa es la única desventaja de la comida. Las raciones eran decentes, tenemos suficiente para cenar mañana también. Definitivamente ordenará desde aquí de nuevo.

Lovely food, except for a missed mango chutney. Certainly won't order again on a Friday night, predicted time 1h after ordering was doable, but being 45 minutes late took the mickey. They could have at least updated the prediction when they knew the delay.

Pre ordered at 3.50 was told it would be delivered at 5.20 came just before 6, then to find an item was missing safe to say won't be ordering again.

Pedimos el plato mixto naan paratha balti pollo curry verduras y arroz pilau y toda la comida era muy sabrosa y bien cocinada. Nos resulta difícil encontrar buenos restaurantes en Southampton, pero este cumplió con nuestras expectativas y volveríamos a ordenar desde aquí.
