Used to be my go to Indian and have ordered multiple times but of the last 3 orders including today there has been issues with either the quality being watery, reheated chips or missing items. It's disappointing but I'll be looking elsewhere going forward. Called the restaurant only to speak to one of the rudest people on earth.

Ordered a vindaloo with the choice of making it a phal. It was so mild like eating a korma. Had 3 bits of chicken and 3 potatoes. Not good.

I cannot believe how bad this was it used to be so good. Didnt get onto a great start what should of been a 5 minute call ended up in a 15 min one going over same questions! I asked him how long delivery would be standard 45 mins.. turns up 1hr15mins later! I ordered lamb rogan josh which tasted a bit like ketchup! and had no spice to it at all! onion bhaji had more heat! The overall order was disappointing will never order from here again.

Don't know what everyone is talking about??!! This is my second order now (don't order off Uber eats it's cheaper calling them) Great service! Fresh tasty chicken (although my dansk was a bit too sweet and sour), really fresh coconut naan! I could tell the dough was made today and healthy pilau rice barely any oil! Nice poppadoms barely any oil, I just reheated it a bit as it wasn't that crunchy Thank you I'll order again next time as I was looking for something sweet sour and not too spicy!! 🥵 Edit Third order: you forgot the poppadom but I will let you know next time I order. Ordered a chicken dansk this time with reduced spice. It was tasty with yellow beans too, nice customer service thanks - a bit too oily too as you can see so I removed a star!

Fancied a curry after work, what a mistake this place must have changed hands since I last used it. The onion bhaji was solid the nanbread stone cold and the curry swimming in grease. Will not use again

Rubbish. Used to be good but so bad now. After waiting over an hour for a meal we paid over £40 for hoping there would be enough for leftovers tomorrow to be faced with each meal consisting of 6 pieces of meat in a maassive tub of sauce, soggy cold chips and a mixed starter (£8) of 2 bhaji and something unrecognizable and a bit of salad and 2 popadoms!! Seriously gone downhill and will stay well away in future and still have to find something to eat tomorrow

Ordered a takeaway, the Lamb in the Togan Josh was tough and dry, Asda do a better ready meal! The poppadoms were flat, and how they can call it an onion salad when it was just a bag of chopped onions, I don't know! Awful!

Ordered many times before, the last few have been rubbish! Missing items, poor quality, tough meat and expensive. Called them, not interested, said they will call back. Surprise suprise, no call back.

One of the worst indian food in Southampton, no one have a clue what they are doing i went sick after eating there food i would advise you not to go there or order online absolute disgusting service and food please don't waste your money

This was the first time I’ve ordered from here. Food was ok but my curry was far too hot. I ordered chicken pathia which was more like a vindaloo. I have never ordered this dish hundreds of times before from other places and it’s been fine but here it was far too hot even for someone that can eat a hot curry!

Terrible service tonight ❌ Lovely customer, food took 90 minutes to arrive. All bread and rice was missing so I had to go and collect. No discount of 15% discount given and not refunded. All good cold. Will never return 👎

Great food and excellent staff. If you are looking for desi food , this is the place you should go. I ordered takeaway - Cheese naan, Mashroom Bhaji and Paneer tikka and was very glad that food came on-time and was quite hot. Highly recommend.

Recently, I had tried out Chilli paneer and Chicken Biryani from this newly renovated Takeaway restaurant. It was truly authentic indian taste and staff were also very friendly. I am surely coming back.

First time ordering from here on Just Eat. Food was very tasty and of good quality. Will be ordering from again. Highly recommended.

Personally I did read the reviews after I ordered and I was a bit concerned to see some of the comments, I ordered my food on Uber Eats and I got chicken tikka and some paratha on the side. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly, wasn't too spicy but not too mild either and the paratha was surprisingly good considering it had been delivered. Would I order again? Probably, but it would help if the restaurant owners replied to some of the reviews and made sure to take in feedback.

Best curry ever and lovely people, they know already my irder and they recognize me, very nice love it! We always go for a soinach lamb curry: lamb saag, peswhwari nan, garlic nan, and pilau rice! They add free poppadoms for us too! Really recommend!

Ordered the Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani and Chicken 65. Although both weren't really traditional/similar to others. The flavours were there and the dish wasn't too bad.

This is a great little takeaway. A really good delivery service, my only gripe Is they charge you a service charge for nothing. A bit if a rip off but i really do like their food

Just spent 3 nights in hospital with severe food poisoning confirmed poisoning from hospital and has given me colitis severe pain unable to look after my children and time in hospital due to food from this restaurant on 2nd June 2022

Always order from here on deliveroo, the BEST made peshwari and cheese naans! Biryani is fabulous full of flavour

I was in the mood for some Indian fried rice, so I ordered two schezwan fried rice from this restaurant. That night, I opened both packs of fried rice and everything was OK. I chose to consume the second pack the next day because one pack was more than enough. The next day I decided to have it for lunch so I was about the heat it up in the microwave and I discovered a foul white liquid in the pack. I will never order from them again.

Wasted 2 hours of my life . Gave my postcode 4 times and he even rang back to ask again and then 2 hours later find out he’s at a different postcode. Will not order from you again . Cancelled my order in the end and went to KFC

Nothing worst then ordering food for a family of 4, spending £45 and they arrive with items missing. 1 main and 2 sides were missing. To make it worst, they ticked the receipt on each item to confirm it was checked and in the bag. It wasn't. The food prortions were very very small compared to other Indian takeaways. I only went here as 2 local Indian takeaways were closed for some reason. I usually go to Kali Murchi & Kutis. The only consolation was that the food that did arrive was quite tasty. I won't be ordering again.

Ordered last night and the food was awesome. Cannot recommend highly enough. Delivery was really quick, food was hot and tasty and these guys do not skimp on the rice portion sizes. The Hyderbadi Curry was exceptional. Only picked on this place because our usual favorite was closed, so glad we did.

I never write reviews but I'm really annoyed about the slop that's just been delivered. Ordered dal makharni (black lentil dal) and paneer makhari (butter chicken style veggie dish), two identical lentil dishes arrived swimming in rancid oil one with lumps of paneer floating in it. WORST indian takeaway ever.

After reading reviews here we ordered a delivery. So glad everyone contributed, it was awesome! We eat Indian food frequently, and have tried every restaurant and delivery near us for miles, this is by far the best. The chicken tikka starter was tasty and moist, lovely to have fried onions with it. The chicken chat was very nice, never had one without a puri or paratha before though. Would have been nice to have a little salad or carb with it. Goa naga was awesome, fortunately hot as described. It was chicken (I had to phone to check as no mention of a protein on the menu). Anyone who likes hot food won’t be disappointed with this. King prawn korma had a lovely consistency, good flavour and perfectly cooked prawns. All dishes a perfect size, no scrimping. The keema naan was great, reasonable amount of keema meat spread evenly throughout the naan (for a change). Service - app said 50 minutes for delivery, it arrived in 30 minutes, that included a 12 minute drive to deliver too, so very impressive considering the quality of the meal. The young lad who delivered our meal (looked about 10 years old) also asked if we would donate to the poppy appeal, good of him to collect for them. Perhaps a better idea if he had a collection box with him though. All in all we loved the food, haven’t had a great Indian meal like this for years. Definitely going to be our go to takeaway for Indian delivery from now on.

Okay being a goan I 100% agree this place is KICKASS!!! The food.... OH MY GOD!!! It was tooo good... really made me feel like I was back home ❤️ the quantity is perfect and plentiful, worth every penny. Please add choriz pao on the menu 🥺

Absolutely love this place. The food is always hot, the chips are like macdonald’s but BETTER (fresh, crispy, thin and salty) and the food has the perfect ratio of vegetables to sauce. Will always order from here!

Food was so delicious and I really enjoyed the food.

I ordered chicken 65 as I never had it before as I was told its an authentic Goan dish. It was bursting with flavours. For mains I had Tandoori chicken with butter garlic Naan. The Naan was soft and fluffy and I was taken back to India when I tasted the Tandoori chicken. This take away is definitely worth it and great prices. Quick delivery too!

I eat first time saag paneer dish. It is Very tasty,fresh and delicious food. Nobody can compete with that food. Very good and polite staff and very fast delivery. Very cheap price and high quality food. Thank you goa indian takeaway.

I got my order within 30 mints. Chicken bhuna, chilli chicken was fantastic. After couple of months i got pure indian test. Great food guys

I have just waited nearly 2 hours for my takeaway, when I phoned the restaurant they told after 1 hour 20 minutes they told me it would be no more then 2 or 3 minutes which turned into another 20 minutes. I won't bebusing uber or this restaurant again as they take way to long with orders, and uber needs to sort this issue out.

After a few years of using Goa as our go to curry house we are shocked to have a terrible takeaway delivered which is totally different to our usual order. We have complained and binned it. The saag was like slop, the samosas were greasy, the poppadums smashed and the naan was not cooked and still raw and sticky. Never ordering here again. What a shame.

Ordered last nite, the chips were so soft inside and crispy on the outside and actually hot just like they shout be and the most delicious I’ve ever had. Egg fried rice had the most loveliest flavor ever I enjoyed this meal and other extras so much

EDIT: We ordered a takeaway from Goa again tonight (we have been a few times since my last review because of how great it was), however, the menu has changed and there isn't as much, and my favourite (chicken pathia hot) is now not on the menu. I opted for a chicken Jalfrazi, but what I received was not like any jalfrezi I have ever had. It was hot, but apart from that there was no flavour. No chillies in it. The veg had no flavour, and chicken was plain. My partner had korma, and she said it was bland, and not much flavour in that either. The rice was OK, as we're the bhajis, but I have to say it was one of the worst Indian takeaways I have ever had. If this is because of a new chef or some or reason I don't know, but I can't recommend Goa to anyone anymore. VERY disappointed. I have only been to Goa twice. However, I would say its been the nicest Indians I have had in the area. Even in Southampton. The chicken tikka patia I had tonight was incredible. The fact you can choose medium or fairly hot (for the patia) is new to me, and I went for fairly hot. It was exactly that. Fairly hot. But the best bit was that, patia's are supposed to be hot and sour, but I never found them to be sour, until Goa's one. Hot and SOUR! Absolutely incredible. Highly recommended.

Been using Goa for our take-out curry for at least 8 months - I've been leaving good, honest reviews about how delicious the food is every time! But....not any more. The last 3 on-line orders have been a disaster. I've collected someone else's order & had to return it to swap & our last order was so awful that we simply won't return!! Ordered on-line in the usual way, 15% discount for collection (used to be more) I arrived to collect it but the guy said they've not had any on-line orders...I showed him my confirmation email. He faffed about for at least 10 mins (there were lots of delivery drivers in/out collecting orders) then apologised & said we'd need to re-order. They had a new menu blah blah. So I re-ordered at 6.10pm. Popped to the local shops to waste 10/15 mins & went back in to collect...& we waited....& waited...by 6.50 I advised that we'd been waiting 50 mins...he said our order was being packaged. We walked out of there at 7pm!!! Got home, finally looking forward to eating our food...but it all looked different. Unsure if it was someone else's order - it looked like Biriani but tasted different to what we normally order....& it wasn't nice. Teenage daughter couldn't eat it as it was too spicy; the Dhansak was also different - I paid extra for tikka chicken but we got ordinary chicken. Not happy at all. Ended up in the bin. Goa - why new menu? Old menu was delicious! You'll lose more regular customers on poor organisation alone. Wish I'd got a full refund. Won't ever be going back now. Your food was your saviour...such a shame.

Lovely food ordered last night at 7.20pm but food didn't arrive until 8.50pm luke warm which was very disappointing, I was told 45 minutes but waited over that time I rang up twice to see where my food was and ordered bread instead of bread received 2 rice's, tried to call them no answer to sort problem. Poor service service

they serve really nice lamb biryani, very quick delivery, drivers are a gem for coming up to the flat instead of calling us downstairs to pick up the delivery. 10/10.

Cannot recommend GOA India enough. We are regular customers (via Deliveroo). Our order is always promptly accepted and often delivered ahead of the expected arrival (much quicker than other restaurants). The chicken tikka and onion bhajis are always exceptional. We won't go anywhere else for an Indian takeaway!

We've ordered from here a few times, always good food, this time we ordered via Just Eat, big mistake, total failure to deliver, no idea where it went didnt turn up over an hour after delivery was scheduled and confirmed via app (still no sign of it 2 hours later, we live 2 mins from restaurant), but phoning the restaurant they re-cooked and personally sent us our order , great service thanks.

I ordered online for collection and it said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived five minutes early and waited. The staff were totally focused on delivery drivers waiting there and, despite me being at the counter not one member of staff said...

We have been very loyal customers to this restaurant but....tonight I ordered a curry and was very disappointed to the point I didn't eat it all, very poor flavour and bhajis were cold as were poppadoms and generally didn't have the usual lovely taste, I hope this place isn't starting to take its eye off the ball..

We used Goa for the first time last week as our usual Indian was not open. We were anxious Of course but it was delicious! Arrived in less than the time given and it was hot and tasty and the portion sizes Were large too....

Wrong order sent to me.when I phoned he told me I had to pay for order I didn't want. Waited an HR for my correct order.by then everyone else had finished theirs. I don't eat halal meat but my husband and son are now tucking into theirs and both say it's great. Hot,and smells lovely. Goa tell your driver to smile, it's not difficult,we all have to work !

Our delivery arrived 9 minutes earlier than expected and we weren’t disappointed with our first order. The curry was flavoursome and Peshawar nan bread out of this world - full of coconut and super soft. I highly recommend this place.

Ordered last night through Deliveroo so might be different if you go to them directly but I wasn't wowed by this place. We ordered a chicken pathia and instead a Jalfrezi came. We were hungry and didn't want to have to wait so didn't call to amend. I also ordered a Madras which unfortunately was a bit watery and not as hot as I was expecting. It's a shame as they had such good reviews and would've loved to find a new takeaway. On the plus side it was quick and a decent price so it might be worth a try.. I just wouldn't order from them again.

Not had curry from here before so was recommended by a friend. Rang to order food and helped to decide what to order by a very helpful and friendly gentleman. Food arrived within the hour and greeted by a lovely lady. The curries ordered were absolutely delicious. The chicken and lamb were beautifully cooked. Side of mixed kebab starter and nan were lovely too. Food was hot. Will definitely be using again and would totally recommend. Great service.

Delicious food which was delivered on time, packed very well and extremely well cooked. The korma and tikka masala had plenty of succulent meat and the creamiest of sauces, the coconut rice was light and fluffy and the naan was good. Only ‘complaint’ the onion...

I've ordered 3 times. Only once has the food been on time. However the food has been really good. Spicing just right and usually a freebie veggie dish included. Would use them again but would order at least half an hour earlier than needed. Still...

Food quality is always so high, good price. My most recommended takeaway by a long shot and the owner helped me pick the right foods regarding my dietary choice and to top it off he is a real nice guy too
