The best restaurants in Bevois Southampton South East

What a place to drink! No TV's showing football no loud music. Just like pub's I used to go to in the 80's... A proper pub to buy a beer in, and what beers? At least 10 different real ales IPA's, stouts and a couple of "greens" not sure I am only here one evening and can't try them all..... On the other hand it is Sunday tomorrow lol.

Hidden gem that we stumbled upon. Food is fantastic and the chef is incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back. The menu is concise, delicious and authentic, so can’t wait to try the rest of the food! We cannot understand how amazing everything was. To add, the price is surprisingly cheap. Pleasantly surprised by everything. Free sweets were a bonus too!!

The atmosphere was so good and the team who looked after us were delightfully friendly. We had fish which was superb! The wine was top just right and reasonable.

The place is okay at best, I didn't enjoy it as much as I would've enjoyed other restaurants. The portion size is HUGE, so that's a plus, but unfortunately the price is unbelievably expensive for a mere dish and drink 😭 The juice not being fresh is disappointing, but thankfully the pint soda is a large amount since there isn't refills. Honestly, a great restaurant, unfortunately I won't dine here again due to its high prices for plain dishes 😓

My favourite Greek restaurant in the UK. The pita gyros are fantastic, just like younger in Athens. Authentic place. Highly recommended.

Food is lovely. Pulled pork soft tacos are a must. Can be bit slow to serve during peak due to external orders

Chicken wings good processor good lots of things on the menu but they need to season there chicken paties a bit more

Tried this restaurant on Saturday (29/03/25), got a takeaway based on recommendations from friends and family. The burgers were absolutely delicious - but my partner and myself ended up with severe food poisoning - to the extent today evening (01/04) is the first time I’ve been able to keep food in without throwing up - that too chicken broth soup. Idk what went wrong, but I did see them remove and place the chicken fillets on the grill from a storage under the grilling unit- so I don’t know if the chicken was bad, it didn’t taste off with the sauce and other additions in the burger. Unfortunately, due to this experience though the burgers were delicious, I will not be visiting again

Visité como parte de un ciervo de fin de semana. Salió de su camino para acomodarnos, personal realmente muy amable, muy bien informado, muy buenas cervezas. No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente. Excelente. Realmente realmente excelente.

I really enjoyed every bit of their services

We’ve been to the Gurkha Lounge quite a few times and it’s always been incredible! The food is exceptional, full of flavour and spice. We always over order because we want to try everything because it’s all so delicious. Staff and service super friendly. Fantastic place!

Not great. The lamb curry was not amazing. The mango colada was so sweet. Such a lot of sugar.

The food is so good, I love the sukiyaki and the maki’s. Lovely staff and environment too

Slow service. Bad pizza. Only cash.
